I haven't been to an IHOP in YEARSSSS.. and I mean years man, but it was already close to 1pm and my friends and I hadn't had breakfast and we got to talking about Ihop as one of those places you'd go eat at as a hang out spot during high school years cause it was cheap and delicious. I was so surprised to find that it still is that actually! Still cheap and delicious! My breakfast was only $6 part of a limited time deal they've got going on. (see pic) This meal kept me full the rest of the day. Are they the best pancakes you've ever had? No, but they're still pretty darn good, especially for the price. This is a very busy place for a Saturday morning. They had a wait the whole time I was there. The service was very good and our server patient while we waited on a late comer. The egg white veggie Omlette was full of grilled vegetables and had about a quarter of a small avocado sliced on top. My friend had the same thing and switched her side to grits. That might have been the best thing on the table. Buttery flavorful and comforting. We had a table near the hostess stand. The restaurant had comfortable seating but it was very loud. Surprisingly, I prefer Denny's for breakfast than this pancake house. Their Cali Roasted Turkey Melt was nothing short of amazing as was the burgers when it became IHOB for a promotion. IHOP is reasonably priced for these non-breakfast items too. We always found our bill to not be shocking when they brought it (unlike getting the total at Five Guys). Breakfast is usually. fail for me. The pancakes are mostly just flavorless flat discs. And their latest Biscuit sandwiches were absolutely terrible. The biscuits fell apart as soon as you tried to pick it up. Probably good with biscuits and gravy, but not for sandwich 'tegrity. And the restrooms... let me say their setting on the paper towel dispenser was absolutely ridiculous. With each wave, only 2-3 inches came out. Then you had to rip it off (which doesn't work too well) to get 2-3 more inches to come out. I prefer 12-14 inches all at once. So 3 stars for just OK for a breakfast place with rising breakfast prices. But 5 stars for that Cali-Melt and Jalapeño Kick Burger. read more

I've eaten here a few times and never had an issue with the food. It's IHOP quality so nothing too fancy. The only gripe I have and posting here hoping they address it is the place is not clean, the dead bugs and dust on the window sills, the menus were smelling like grease or spoiled milk. The floor was sticky in some places. The coffee containers was so dirty I skipped coffee which I love. The service was good the girls were friendly. If it gets cleaned up maybe my wife will enjoy returning with me. read more

This is one of the best Ihops I've ever been to. They are very attentive and I always see the manager helping buss tables and seat people. Food is good and I don't think I've ever seen the kitchen backed up, I always get my food quick even on the busiest days. Samantha is our favorite server she's always very attentive and friendly. While taking the order she impatiently tapping on the table with her nails, very unpleasant. When leaving I looked at the other tables receipts and the tips were matching the service. From the moment I walked in I knew this place was special. Gabe, my server was warm, friendly and helpful. From the hot coffee, friendly engagement we took my order. While I was working, just a few minute late me my food came out piping hot and delish! While sitting there I could help but overhear the other team members chatting away with their customers, laughing, being playful and fun, all while ensuring they are taken care of. After i finished my meal I asked to see the MOD, who happened to be the GM. I Let Gabe know there was nothing wrong. I wanted to acknowledge the leader as an organization's culture stems from the leadership. JP sat down with me and we had a lovely conversation about his journey to the store and life he's living. Mostly, I felt compelled to acknowledge his clear leadership and environment he creates at his store. Rarely are leaders acknowledged. It is good for the soul. I highly recommend their GF pancakes! Everyone knows Ihop! The star of the show is always the pancakes. All the varieties are great. Unfortunately due to Covid you don't get all the syrups put out for your sampling. Also, I don't like pancakes! Soooo, the omelets here are really really good. There's another breakfast chain that does them better but hey, these taste great. And overall their breakfast fare is good. Would like to see more skillets! I decided to get a hamburger this time. Just the classic. You know what? That's a tasty burger! The pickles make it and they have their own special sauce to add a bit more zing. And the fries were solid. Overall, Ihop is pretty dang good for breakfast and they've got some main meals that aren't bad either. It's not gourmet. But you knew that already. read more

My wife and I went out to lunch at IHOP after receiving a gift card. We had to wait to be greeted by a host; but, were acknowledged and seated quickly at a comfortable booth by the window. We ordered the Splashberry Refresher, which was terrific. Even better, refills are included! I had the Cali Garlic Butter Burger; and, my wife had the Chicken Sandwich. Both were cooked to order; and, served piping hot. The Onion Rings were terrific; and, tasted great with the IHOP Fry Sauce, which our server recommended. This IHOP has been open for a couple of months near my home. On a Saturday morning before tackling errands, my husband and I decided to stop in for breakfast. The location is right on Alafaya, on a strip anchored by Dunkin Donuts. There is plenty of parking. The place is nice, open space, nice decor and ample seating. The hostess immediately took our names and said it will be quick as she handed us a "beeper." Do those things have an actual name? Anyway, 5 mins later it buzzed and were seated in a booth by the window. A couple of minutes later our server, Valeria, approaches the table and says she will be right over. She comes back, hands our menus and takes our drink order and silverware. When she returns with my coffee and my husbands apple juice, I showed her that the neatly wrapped silverware was dirty. She apologized and replaced them. The coffee at IHOP has never been great, so I got what I expected. We ordered, breakfast sampler, two eggs over easy, sausage links, bacon, ham and hash browns, with a waffle (for an up-charge because this is served with pancakes. My husband ordered chicken and waffles. Then we waited, and waited and waited and waited more than forever for our food. I noticed that the place was not that packed, there seemed to be alot of servers but every table looked like they were waiting. I also noticed that 6 people had arrived, were waiting by the host booth which was empty and no one had approached them. When our food arrived, I noticed that my waffle was a little lighter in color than normal and certainly lighter than my husbands but I tackled my eggs first. My husband commented that his waffle was great, the chicken or at least one of the pieces was over seasoned but he ate it all. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns could have been hotter, the ham was great, the bacon was little limp and the sausage was ok. The waffle was under cooked, limp and cold. It took me over 5mins to get our servers attention. I told her the waffle was under cooked, she apologized, took it and said she would bring me a fresh one. Well that took another 7 mins, she came, asked, "is your waffle not here yet?". Ummm no. She left, came back a minute later with a fresh waffle and said, "sorry, it was taken to another table." Unreal. I got my waffle, it was perfectly cooked. We asked for our check, got that immediately and handed her the card for payment. I observed, the manager, I noticed that there was no sense of urgency or concern about customer experience. When we were leaving, I stopped to speak to the manager and mentioned our experience and suggested she maybe read some reviews because how can anyone mess up IHOP. It is not new food, it is the same as forever. She mentioned, "we read them all the time". As a teen, I enjoyed IHOP and was a bit excited about having this one close to home. It's been a long time since I've been to an IHOP. This location is new and not too far from where I live (bonus). We decided to bring the kids here to let them try it. Glad we did because we all loved it and had a good time. The servers are great and very helpful. If you're coming on a Saturday or Sunday, be prepared to wait a little while to get a table. This location gets busy on the weekends. We've come during the week as well and were seated immediately since the place was nearly empty. I have ordered their veggie omelette with pancakes both times I've been here and it's fantastic. Omelette was cooked perfectly and of course the pancakes were spot on. The ABSOLUTE WORSE IHOP location ever! I placed an order of three different omelettes and they were all undercooked. Clear egg yolk was visible and runny! I called to file a complaint and was told the manager was outside speaking with another customer and would call me back. I called back 4 hours later to follow up and was told the manager had left for the day. I request the name of the manager and was placed on hold. The unprofessional child came back to tell me they would have the manager call me back. I asked how would that be possible if you just told me the manager left for the day?! I asked for the corporate office number and was told she didn't have it. I was then placed back on hold and this lil girl never came back to the phone. After holding for 12 mins I disconnected. I then called back and immediately asked who I was speaking with and was placed on hold again...she never came back. I then received a call moments later from Alfredo who tells me he was home and was off today but received a call about my concerns. He apologized for the inconvenience and offered to replace my meal or provide a refund. I requested a refund. Here we are exactly 2 weeks later, no refund received. I called and requested to speak with a manager and they put Alfredo on the line who tells me that he thought I was coming in to replace the meal. This was his response before asking for my name, the date of my original order, or any other identifying information. I had to request a refund for the second time. Unacceptable!!! I will not be retuning or referring anyone to this location. The quality of IHOP food and service has declined over the years. I am strongly considering not going to any IHOP locations going forward. Poor customer service. My most recent visit I stood at the counter to get my pickup order. Multiple people in the kitchen area saw me but nobody came to help. After a few minutes, I went behind the counter and grabbed my order myself. Thankfully for them, it was my order and not somebody else's. Very unprofessional already so we sat at 11:05 am and had multiple servers walk by us and a ladie in a blue shirt which also looked liike a manager, and no onE would say anything to us..... mind you it was soooo slow. It wasn't until the KITCHEN manager came out and asked a server if we have been helped.and finally at 11:22 someone came over and took our drink orders. This guy disappeared for another five minutes and cash two table out before getting our drinks so we left and no ladie manager was seen again. teerrible service tried to give it one more chance, but it's horrible and the managers are worse, can't wait till this place closes down and a better thing comes here. My wife and I wanted this to be a great place but it just wasn't. The service is slow, very slow. The food, you would think is the same food that Ihop has been serving for years, is not consistent. On this occasion, we were greeted and seated within five minutes of arriving, after that it all went downhill. Our server did come to introduce herself and said she would be right back, after 10mins we placed our order. Chicken and waffles for me, my wife ordered the sampler with a waffle and coffee. The coffee was served immediately but the food took forever. My chicken was over seasoned. My wifes waffle was under cooked. I walk in, the front desk is empty. Two other parties come in, still no one there. About 5 minutes pass before someone comes to acknowledge our existence. I came to separate a table for my brother's birthday breakfast and I advised it would be eight adults. Not sure why the guy was stammering and darting his eyes around nervously when not even half the restaurant was occupied. The rest of the party arrives and we have to wait about 5 more minutes. We are seated and our server says she'll be right with us. Ten minutes pass. She darts to another table and says she'll be with us soon without stopping her trek. Twenty more minutes pass. She walks past us without a word. We were never given menus or asked for drinks. My EIGHTY YEAR OLD GRANDMOTHER literally stood up to grab them because she saw them laying on another table. I was so upset. I usually try to give the benefit of the doubt since I've worked in the restaurant business before. But this treatment was inexcusable. If you didn't have the time to serve a large table, or there is a problem in the kitchen, or you are understaffed, TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT IT instead of ignoring them! I am completely shocked that my family had the patience of SAINTS to sit there ignored for over 30 minutes before we gave up on giving this IHOP a chance. When walked out, no one was at the front area again and the servers continued darting around looking busy. No eye contact, no acknowledgement of our disappointment, no goodbyes. Absolutely 100% never coming back here. It's a real shame. I used to really like IHOP. Didn't take long for this place to go straight downhill. The whole restaurant was disgusting, from the booth we were seated in; with all kinds of paper, dirt, and crap on the floor under our table, to the bathrooms with the trash cans overflowing. Apparently they "ran out" of clean silverware because they served us our meal with plastic silverware that you'd get with a to-go order. At that point I asked for the manager, who was about 22 years old. FIRST THINGS FIRST! I came here to have a great breakfast with my family and thought IHOP, you can never go wrong with that, they always perform, but that was not the case on this visit. The service was lacking because there was 1 server for the whole store, then the food when it came out was colder then Antarctica. I have an issue with the fact that the poor server was the one cleaning, taking orders, and cashing people out. I don't appreciate that the cook decided to take a break while it was getting busy leaving the 1 girl to do everything herself. Overall this was the worst dining experience I've had at a nationwide restaurant and think that they need to rework this location. I know Ihop isn't a five star spot but this was extreme. There was practically no other tables eating yet there was no one to greet or sit people at the front. The table behind us had an issue with their charge (sounded like their card was misplaced) my order was rung in completely wrong. From the dish I ordered (blueberry french toast) to the drink that never came being added as a mod to my french toast. When I told the server my dish was supposed to be blueberry french toast and I was served plain the manager said that the blueberries are just a garnish and they could bring me out a cup of blueberries, which also never came. The server noticed when he went to bring us the check the mistake he had made with ringing in my drink as a mod to my meal instead of as the beverage (which again never came) instead of apologizing or bringing the drink management corrected the mod but still charged for my meal that I didn't eat and was totally wrong. Again I wasn't expecting to be served on silver platter but by the time we left we were the only table (which is no surprise all things considered) but there is just no excuse for this kind of terrible service.... Went there on a Thursday night, service was slow as molasses. Server was clueless. Three parties that came in after us got their food first, waitress comes out and says "sorry for your wait kitchen is slammed". There can't be more than 20 customers there, besides three people just got served their food. Me and my two children ordered pancakes ( seemed like a good choice at IHOP, of all places ) it took probably 45 minutes. When they finally manage to get the food to us, the strawberries on the pancakes were practically molding and the "scrambled eggs" was one mashed up yolk. Pitiful service. This Ihop location just opened on Monday so everything is new new new. It's super clean and the ambiance is a little nicer than your regular IHOP. The service was on point. The food was delish! Fresh and tasty, it took time but not too long. I ordered the quick 2 breakfast which comes with eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns and toast. My hubby had the chicken and waffles and he loved it. I purposely drive past this location which is 2 minutes from my house and drive to the university location due to better service! I gave them another chance today with a simple online order of 2 breakfast samplers. Checked in for my to go order and waited about 15 minutes additional to my order time.
