Everyone loves a poke bowl place! Here you can do a build your own bowl for $14. It's a bit pricey but they FILLED the bowl to the top. So much so that stuff was almost falling out. The sauces are more unique than other poke places (though you can still get standards like ponzu) and lean more towards the Hawaiian vibes. I also liked that they offer Dole whips here.

I had the pleasure of sampling Island Fin Poke at an office event earlier in the year and enjoyed both the food and concept immensely! I happened to drive past the Winter Springs location just in time for dinner recently. I have to note how amazing the employees are here! They were so friendly in their welcome and very patient as I built my bowl. The options are plentiful so you can certainly build something that suits your taste. If you can't decide for yourself, they have some menu options pre-built. The food tasted really fresh and definitely hit the spot. I loved the citrus marinate! Perhaps the greatest thing about Island Fin is the dole whip! I was ecstatic when I saw it on the menu and had to treat myself to one for dessert. Super refreshing and feels very on theme. They run a happy hour during the week from 3-6. The dole whip is half priced! That guarantees my return. The pricing is a little less than most poke places which is nice. You can build a bowl for about $15.00 and it feels pretty generous. Located in the Tuskawilla shopping plaza also means ample parking. If your a poke fan, you'll enjoy IF.

First and last visit. For reference, Poke Bowls are my absolute favorite food and I've visited multiple establishments in various states. Do the owners and staff regularly try their own product and actually think it's acceptable? This is hands-down the absolute worst Poke Bowl I've ever had. Other than the togarashi sauce, no ingredient in my bowl had any flavor or salt. I had to drown the thing in soy sauce at home to be able to taste anything. The "og" marinade didn't add any flavor or salt to my proteins. The rice was a disgrace, it wasn't sushi rice and wasn't flavored in any way, it was just plain white rice with no salt (at least it wasn't raw, but that's a pretty low bar to set). The scoop of avocado that I added, which I had to pay extra for and also had zero salt or seasoning, made everything worse because it didn't compliment the other ingredients due to the complete lack of flavor or sodium across the board. I also was disappointed by the crab topping, which they have the absolute chutzpah to charge extra for as a "premium" ingredient, while doing nothing to make it unique. It's literally just imitation crab out of the package, and shredded without any remarkable prepping or condiment. Most poke places make something special out of their Surimi crab to justify charging you extra. Additionally, the crispy onion topping was stale. But the worst offender was the Avocado sauce (pictured). It was just vile. It tasted like bland mayonnaise with an unpleasant, pugnent, cheesy aftertaste. I seriously don't understand who would try that and want to serve it to people. There are many better poke places in Orlando to visit. I would avoid this one, specially if it's your first time trying Poke Bowls because it might end up turning you off from them as a whole.

Ava, she is the best and has the best attitude! That's the review!! Food was also great, clean restaurant, and quick and joyful service!

Absolutely wonderful! Wide variety of fresh food, we have two kids that will happily eat anything and two that are very picky, everyone ate everything and loved it! Highly recommend their pumpkin dole whips! So delicious! The owners were there today and so kind, they visited our table a couple times and so friendly

First time having a poke bowl. I ate three bites and ended up throwing it away. The staff was friendly but the meat was all cold chicken was unseasoned. Rice unseasoned. They were packed at one point so I believe other like them. My friend informed me as a regular poke bowl eater this wasn't great.

Overall, very mixed feelings.. If not for the overwhelmingly creamy sauce and the extremely small portion size, I would have probably rate it 4 or 5, but... And here's the breakdown: THE "GOOD": - [topping] VERY GENEROUS!! Everything is included, even seaweed, which typically it's extra charge. This makes it very heavenly, giving the poke bowls some extra touch outside of the typical fish, veggies, and rice. - [taste/quality] overall not bad! Fish and everything else was very fresh, sauce taste good but can be a bit overwhelming, it was very creamy.. THE "NEEDS IMPROVEMENT": - [sauce] so there are 2 sauces that go with poke bowls at these place. First you select a sauce that gives the most flavor (ponzu, soy, etc), and then you select a creamy sauce to give it an extra kick. In which, I'm not sure why.. To me, pokes are meant to be lightly flavored and refreshing, this last creamy sauce overrode everything else. In salad terms, I was expecting light vinaigrette, but got highly creamy Caesar instead. I can see that it might not be bad for some people, but just not what I was expecting.. - [portion size] it came with very little protein.. in the picture below, you can't see protein at all, and that's because there's only about 10 pieces of finger nail sizes fish bits in there.. the salad came with very little veggie as well. If not for the toppings, this is probably half portion of poke bowls at other places. Overall, given there are so many other poke choices around Oviedo/Alafaya, I probably won't order from this place again.

This place is quite cool! It feels super hip when you walk in with picnic tables and bumper stickers everywhere. This was only my second time ever having a poke bowl. The first time was in Little Tokyo in LA so I think I had high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was and I loved how filling a small scoop size bowl was so even a good value! Since I had not been to this location before, the girl behind the counter had to walk me through each of the offerings of toppings and sauces and such. Although I was very impressed by her knowledge of everything and what is in all the sauces, it sounded like she could care less and that this was her millionth time explaining it, and she spoke so fast I felt bad asking her to repeat herself. In the end, she helped my curate a pretty good bowl. I look forward to going back and trying different combinations. Definitely give this place a try!

Five star for experience, staff, and cleanliness. The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food itself was just OK. The sauces are all creamy., Salty or spicy. No sweeter sauces available...Other than the chili one on the counter . I was hoping to have something like eel sauce. The good thing is that seaweed doesn't cost extra. The fish was typical. The total amount of food was perfect but I'd still rather get my poke bowls from either sus hi or quickly boba. They are more affordable and tastier. One good thing is that if you come often there's a loyalty program ... But if the food doesn't taste good I think it's pointless cause you probably won't return. One thing I hate is the bowl is square.... Kinda hard to mix my stuff without it falling off the plate. Oh and their wasabi wasn't fresh at all. It didn't have the wasabi spice kick Overall I was disappointed by the food taste but amazed by the service.

Is the seafood farmed and/or frozen?

All our seafood comes frozen from our supplier. They source both farmed and wild caught seafood. Hope that helps!

I was in one night and was surprised that they have a special price for the dole whip, what time is it?

We do happy hour daily 3 to 6. Dole Whip is 50% off!!!

I'm currently on Keto diet and was wondering what sauce is suitable for Keto ?, I always get the OG and the avocado before .

Any of the soy based sauces are good. Only about 1 carb per. The wasabi cream is about 1 as well. Avocado cream is about 3 carb per serving.

Do they only serve raw fish?

No, check out their menu. They have shrimp and octopus options, as well as a vegetarian bowl.

Do any of the sauces and topping contain gluten, soy or dairy? I am allergic to those things and trying to figure out what my choices would be. Thank you!

All items in restaurant are gluten free except crispy onions and waffle cones. We have 4 soy based sauces that would be good and our other sauces are either crema bases or Mayo based. Feel free to give me a call. 7027551258

    Can we BYOB?

Call me at the restaurant. Mark

Solid 4 out of 5 for freshness, value, and convenience. I stopped in on a Sunday lunch with a friend, expecting a quick, casual bite, and that is exactly what it delivered. The staff was friendly from start to finish and genuinely great at recommending combinations. Service was fast the entire way through, from ordering to pickup, without feeling rushed. One detail I appreciated is that there are two entrances, and the back door is super convenient since it leads straight out to the parking lot. The vibe inside is clean and straightforward, nothing overly flashy, and I really like the nod to Hawaii in the decor. It gives the space a relaxed island inspired feel without trying too hard, just a well kept fast casual setup that makes it easy to focus on the food. What I ordered: I went with a custom bowl. The tuna and salmon were both fresh with zero fishiness, which is always the first thing I look for. I tried the soyu and Hawaiian aioli sauces and both were a bit on the subtle side and leaned slightly bland, but not enough to take away from the overall bowl since everything else was solid. The unlimited toppings were a nice bonus and pretty consistent with what you would expect from similar poke spots. My friend ordered the garlic fried shrimp rice plate. The shrimp came out crispy and savory, and the mac salad on the side had a nice balance of creamy mayo with a bit of carrot to lighten it up. Total came out to about $36 with tip, which felt fair for a casual lunch for two. Overall, this is a great go to if you want something fast, fresh, and relatively healthy in Mills50. I would definitely come back, especially when I want a no stress lunch that still hits!
