They should rename this Winter Palace as it totally went downhill like that ski jumper on the opening of Wide World of Sports. There's a little bit of hope but I'd say they do more takeout than having people dining in, since they kinda sucked at service. I mean zero people skills. I had to argue with the lady about how hot my soup was. I've gotten sick twice in my life from soup not being hot, and this soup was lukewarm at best. No, I don't want it reheated, I just don't want the soup, lady! It wasn't the right temperature. You should apologize and throw the whole f'ing vat of it out instead of arguing with me! The Chicken 3 Way was pretty good. Not as good as the one in Cruel Intentions, but a nice way to get a few different flavors at once. The crispy one came with this lemon sauce which was great! Very lemon-y! The Orange Beef was also good, but not as tender as some other places. I'd say if you're looking for somewhere to eat in the area, skip this place and go to IHOP next door. Or the new Saucy restaurant now that the hype died down. But this was my last trip to a former favorite!

We hadn't been since pre-COVID and change of ownership but happy to report it's still pretty good AYCE sushi. You order off menu, rolls are decent sized, nigiri and sashimi is a bit small (but hey just order more?). Quality was as expected for AYCE, the rice in our first order was a bit dry so rolls fell apart but second order seemed to be a fresher batch of rice. We used to love the shrimp tempura and it was just okay, wasn't as crispy so likely fried well ahead of time. Service is good. Place is clean. Extensive Chinese menu for non-sushi folk (though they probably won't let you do AYCE if not everyone at the table does).

I ordered through their website, and placed it for delivery. They allow you to choose the spice levels for food and there's a box to write comments for special instructions. Everything arrived well packaged, full, and hot. They accept cash for delivery or cc payment. You can select tip value during check out, or if paying by cash, determine when the person arrives. Worth it to support local businesses and not give as much $$ to U*ber eats, or D*dash, who charge both business and consumer for use of their platforms. I'm home sick, so the spicy hot and sour soup hits the spot. Not too thick or thin, just enough broth. Also got sweet and sour chicken, chicken with garlic sauce (sauce on the side, bc I like to dip the food into the sauce. lol.) and sautéed green beans. Hard to find Chinese take out that offers sautéed green beans, but they are a FAVORITE from my childhood memories of Chinese buffets. Overall, have been happy with their service and quality of food over the +5 years we've been ordering from them.

A...M...A...Z...I...N...G Best food I have had for take out. The sauteed eggplant was a little spicy but great. Did not blow my mouth out. We also had lettuce wraps and shrimp with pecans. Everything is fresh made and the veggies still a little firm, the perfect cook. The broccoli was bright green and the give you a ton of food. The delivery was quick. Surprisingly was still really hot not warm. My only complaint was the lettuce was small ripped prices. We were very impressed

One of the best curry chicken I have had for Chinese. Love the chicken tempura roll and the wonton was the weak one out of the three. The peppers in the curry gave it a nom nom flavor. Will get it again

It's good...a little too salty. I would get white rice next time.

The food is good. The parking is plentiful. The price is average. The lady and young guy are super nice! But the older guy...not so much. Maybe it's bc I'm a female and younger, I don't know. But it will be awhile before I go back. I gave 4 stars bc of the other staff. But you don't want to leave a restaurant irritated and wondering if he treats all females that way.

I had stopped going to Summer Palace after the quality had noticeably slipped on several visits here. After about four or five terrible meals at Summer Palace, we just stopped going. We decided to give them another try after well over a year, quite possibly two yearsand sadly I guess their slip from what was once a great Chinese restaurant to a lackluster establishment seems to be a permanent reality. Talking to another customer, he said that the business changed hands and that he noticed that the quality slipped, as well. I had the Szechuan beef and mediocre to substandard was the best way to describe it. Everyone else at the table had similar comments about their meals. Good quality Chinese food seems to be a problem to find in the central Florida area. Sadly, my search will continue. Orlando has some great Asian restaurants, but not many good quality New York style takeout Chinese restaurants. I guess my search continues.

I went on a Friday night for takeout. It was quite empty. There was only a young couple seated for dinner. I ordered two sushi rolls and edamame. I'm still not sure why my bill was what it was. They do not have an itemized receipt. I think something is very odd with how they are charging. Even if it's a small amount extra, each patron charged a little more adds up. Otherwise, the rolls were good, average. But I could not get past the feeling that I was charged more than I should have been. Either way there are better sushi places in the area that's more reasonable and I trust

How cool! First time for everything.

Summer Palace isn't exactly our "go to" Chinese place so I wouldn't call myself a regular or anything. We've ordered from there a few times and I've dined in once or twice. Yesterday we ordered for the family right from the Yelp app!! We got: * Fried Chicken Wings (a value at 5 for $3.75) for the kids - daughter loved them. They were crispy and well seasoned. * Chicken Lo Mein Dinner Combo ($11.95) for the kids - wish they offered beef lo mein because that's what the kids really wanted. Looked good and kids enjoyed despite it not being beef. But waaay overpriced considering we get beef lo mein at our fave spot for only $9.95 * Eggplant in Garlic Sauce ($9.50) - it had a spicy indicator next to it so I ordered it mild just to be safe. I was starving and would have been upset if it was too spicy for me to eat. It had zero spice to it which was OK, but I would have like at least a little spice. * Ma Po Tofu w/o Pork ($9.50) - same price as the Ma Po w/ pork. Ordered for Mr. S. This was the biggest disappointment of the dinner. The tofu was not silky soft like most Ma Po dishes but the worst was how dang SALTY it was. Way too salty. And to add injury to inSALT, it had NO spice at all. I ordered this one medium. Nada, no spice. I can say with confidence that this still won't be our go-to after last night, which is too bad because I really liked the eggplant. I just know I won't be able to convince the family to order from there since I was the only one who really loved my dish. Mr. S picked up and was annoyed at the pickup process too. He could see our food sitting on the counter inside, but he stood outside waiting for 5-6 minutes because they weren't watching the door for pickups apparently. Also, they gave a 20 minute pickup window. Really? "Your food will be ready between 6:09 and 6:29"... that's a bit ridiculous in my opinion.

The xiao long bao (soup dumplings) are so good; but so was everything else. Prices are moderate, but well worth every penny. We waited 15 more minutes (20 minutes from being seated) and we flagged down a server to take our order. Another party got tired of waiting and just left. The restaurant was only 30% full so there was no excuse for this. However the food came out in about 12 minutes after ordering which is not bad. The food was delicious! We got the house knife cut noodles, pan fried Peking duck buns, and the bok choy with garlic. Everything was excellent. The noodles were so tasty with the beef being the best. The boiled egg is a little odd but it was still good. The Peking duck buns were so good! I am convinced that the only reason this place is still in business is because the food is so good that it offsets the terrible service If you have a lot of time and don't mind waiting for your food. I definitely recommend trying this place. Other people had better luck with the service but I saw at least one other person say that the service was bad. The food is 5 star but the service is 2 star so I gave it a 4 overall.

These legends welcomed our whole crew with zero wait like it was just another Tuesday--talk about VIP service. Now let's talk food. First up, the tofu and veggie stir-fry--a glorious mix of crispy tofu cubes with perfectly sautéed broccoli, carrots, and bok choy in a savory brown sauce that hugged every bite like a warm hug from a Chinese grandma. The beef with broccoli? Tender, flavorful, and bathed in rich umami goodness. Honestly, if I could bottle that sauce, I'd put it on everything--maybe even my cereal (don't judge). The Honey Walnut Shrimp was love at first crunch. Perfectly crispy shrimp in a creamy, sweet glaze topped with candied walnuts and nestled on a bed of fresh steamed broccoli. This dish was the Beyoncé of the table--everyone wanted a piece. Those crispy, golden Shrimp Ball Fritters? Imagine a crunchy sea urchin made of joy. Light, airy, and addictive--basically the potato chip of appetizers. The pan-fried dumplings were thick, juicy, and had the perfect crispy sear. No sad, soggy dumplings here. Then came the crispy duck--dark, rich, and bursting with deep roasted flavor. It had that satisfying crunch you want, and the meat melted in your mouth. A must for meat lovers. But the real MVP? Those soup dumplings. Steamy little flavor bombs that explode in your mouth like a culinary fireworks show. Served in their own mini tins like royalty--juicy, delicate, and impossible to eat just one. The table went silent the second they landed. That's how you know it's real.
