It's 5:45 on a Friday night, and we stopped in while in town on business. I'm shocked that this incredibly clean restaurant is completely dead at this time. This is the third time I've eaten here recently. The food is consistent, fresh, and good. It's not haute cuisine, but the omelets are pretty darn nice. Last minute decision- Won't go back 7:30pm Wednesday - 2 people in our party -Greeted by a Wonderful Guy- Trevor who also was our server! -Only 3 table had people at our arrival. -There were 2 servers for entire Resturant and the kitchen (stated by the server) was very under staffed! -menu was very nice with summer specials at appropriate prices. We ordered 1 of the specials and 1 regular meal. It took forever to arrive. Plates were Super HOT, but the food was Luke warm. Had to keep reminding server of things that were NOT delivered - toast, pancakes, butter, syrup, eggs... OH-and each of those came out at different times like we were eating a 20 course meal! While we were waiting only 2 other families came in ... 1 a party of 7-1/2, and 1 a party of 3... the latter left without ordering due to the Slow service! The Resturant was fairly clean, but the server was also the busser!! So he was doing everything but cooking. Did not go into restrooms-usually you can tell when you walk in about the "aroma" if they are clean... Our bill came to $35 + Tip ... Bad customer service. As for a country. Fried steak server brought me County fried steak it with Breakfast sausage gravy, That, I want white gravy looks like . She said That's the way it comes. I told her no. I've been to ihop before and they put regular gravy. She said you want me to bring you the menu, so you could look at the damn picture was shocked. The manager left his restaurant with 1cook and 2 waitresses out of a lot of the things from the menu. the staff was great dealing with the situation. but it was a bad situation for them. the food was great. shame on the manager for leaving their store in a bind. First off I usually don't write reviews but this employee was rude to my kids. I don't know if he is new but Christian the employee or manager whoever he is not in the right profession he was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, and rude!!!!! I would usually turn the other cheek but my kids were there! Buuuttt the food and setting was good as always. Haven't ever eaten at this previously. They tell me it's under new management. My experience this morning was delightful. Everyone was very friendly. Everything came to the table at one time not every restaurant poached eggs. This one does! We both ate from 55+ menu. Coffee was hot. There were only 4 tables set and the service was deplorable. We have been done eating for 15+ minutes and the server has not came back to see if the food was ok or to bring us or check. Meal was wrong. Advertising "Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity" for $7 but it's not on the menu. They will let you order it. Well I called to place a Togo and was made aware it was just one person, said his name was Mel and asked me to call back in 5 minutes because he was so busy, he assured me he could help me then. I waited ten minutes called back, sat on hold for 5 mins then the phone hung it self up. Called again Mel answered and finally took my order and was very irritated the whole time. I sent my boyfriend to get my food and when he arrived 45 mins after the phone call to pickup my ONE MEAL he had to wait another 45 minutes to get my food. During the time he sat waiting he noticed all other costumers were upset and he was told by Mel everyone sitting matters first and avoided the front at all costs. When he finally got impatient he asked Mel "hey man I just had one meal to go how much longer are we thinkin" still being very respectful he had to re tell him my whole order and then he came right out with it as if it'd been done and he only needed to bag it. Very very very slow service. So we stopped by after several hours of hiking around 2pm (we were a large group with lots of starving kids), we'd assumed since it is ihop and 2pm it would be a very quick meal. We walked to the hostess stand and waited... and waited. This was when I told my hubs we should probably go somewhere else first. There were two people ahead of us who looked like they'd been here a while too. I looked around and less then half the tables had food. I should add the restaurant wasn't even particularly busy. We waited at least 15 more minutes just to get seated. Right before they seated us I looked up the reviews (2 out of 5 on Yelp ). But at this point they had a table for us so we decided how bad could it be ‍ Yeah pretty bad. We continued to wait, our waitress arrived and took drink orders, we ordered milkshakes for the kids and the grownups ordered waters and one lemonade... we then waited, and waited, and waited. The kids are getting cranky as were some of the grownups. We still hadn't ordered. The waitress brought half of the drinks and promptly left again. We waited some more. At the point we'd been at ihop well over half an hour and not even ordered yet. So as a group we decided to leave. I went looking for the waitress and found her making milkshakes, I told her I'd like to go ahead and pay for the drinks but that we'd be leaving. She brought three of the four milkshakes, had forgotten to make the fourth (so we had one very sad and hangrey kid because we definitely weren't waiting another half hour for the fourth milkshake). So we left and grabbed fast food on the way home (I will say the eldest was extremely happy with his fast food shake so it turned out okay). Very disappointing visit. I will say the one positive is they comp-ed the drinks since it took so long and when I did go find out waitress to ask her for the bill and that we'd be leaving she did nicely offer to come take out order and put it right in. read more

Was not offered any compensation for either the slow service or the wrong food. Two stars only because the little young waitress was so sweet and it was not her fault, when we got there half the tables had not been bust, we stood there to be seated for some time. The hostess came over, and wanted to know how many at the table we said two, and then she disappeared, we had a typical breakfast, but the eggs were really cold, the pancakes were like cardboard, it was the worst breakfast I have ever had in my entire life. I understand it being Christmas day and all but when you walk in and it's a 30 to 45 minute wait that's understandable however what is not understandable is when you walk up and say you want to put a to go order in because you cannot do it on the app they give you a menu I look at the menu and about 20 minutes later somebody finally comes back up and you proceed to tell them you're ready to put that to go order in they then proceeded to tell you oh we are not accepting to go orders. So I proceeded to ask them why did you give me a menu even after I said I want to put a to go order in why did you make me wait 25 minutes to tell me you are not accepting to go orders or mobile app orders I have a sick wife at home that cannot make it out or I would not be putting a to go order in for her what a wonderful way to make somebody's Christmas Day read more

My boyfriend and I decided to go to ihop since we haven't been there in awhile. Our experience was horrible. First we got there and the doors were locked so we had to call to have them come open the doors. Then the our server did not acknowledge us until about 10 minutes after we have been sat. Our drinks took another 10 minutes to come out and by that time our appetite is gone and we just wanna leave, service just wasn't good at all especially for just wanting to go get a good breakfast together. My family decided to eat breakfast, spur of the moment. Our waitress was nice but hardly came to our table. My daughter ordered pumpkin spice cinnamon pancakes. I ordered the pumpkin spice pancakes with eggs, ham, and hash browns. My daughter's pancakes were completely covered in cinnamon. My eggs were virtually raw and not even hot. My food got recooked, while my daughter ate my pancakes. My husband ate the ham, as it was just too salty. Our waitress asked why my daughter didn't eat her pancakes.
