This restaurant is new to us, as it wasn't there when we lived in Pendleton many moons ago. We all love an old historic home, so win, win. I was so excited about my flight of mimosas, I didn't get a picture of my omelet, but it was devine. All 4 of my granddaughters wanted the berry waffles and every single one of them devoured their food. My daughter, mother and grandmother ordered different breakfast wraps and we all very pleased. You do have to go up to the register to order and then they bring your food to you. You're asked to bus your own tables into provided bus bins. We came here this morning intentionally to celebrate Rosemary's 84th birthday with breakfast. This was our first time at this restaurant. We were greeted on arrival and our staff was phenomenal. She helped guide us through the menu and all the offerings. You can enjoy almost any craving: sweet or savory. Their lunch offerings look like there will be another visit with my DH. He will enjoy ! . Kirstin (owner) stopped by our table and was absolutely delightful. This place is so warm, comfortable and clean and the food is so good. I cannot recommend it high enough. I'm in town for my boyfriend's mother's funeral and we decided to have brunch here. The food is awesome. I had the Southwestern Omelette with a mocha latte. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito with some kind of iced coffee. His daughters shared some type of salad and they were taking a cinnamon roll with them to share. The service was top notch and the waitress was so nice. The ambiance is so cozy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in Indiana. Two thumbs up. read more

Came in for brunch, but honestly a bit of a 'meh' experience. Location in downtown Pendleton is quaint and cozy, but service was really slow and inattentive. The empty 4 top was dirty, so I cleaned it off myself with the cleaning supplies on the cart around the corner. We ordered two waffles, but both arrived cool to touch. Overall we were disappointed in the liege waffles, both temp wise and pearl sugar content. The avocado toast with greens was tasty - wife liked the avocado pesto. We also ordered a warm raspberry white chocolate scone which never arrived, until we pointed out the oversight to them. When it did arrive, it was the most memorable part of the brunch. We ate inside on the first floor and I was impressed by the comfy chairs. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. It's a varied and different menu than you'll find most other places, like chicken and waffles but the chicken is their chicken salad. Waffles, savory or sweet, feature in lots of dishes, but also wraps , salads, omelettes and their own baked goods as well as coffee and tea, lattes etc. I ordered a Leaded Chai (Dirty Chai) that was delicious and served in a china cup. My waffle, the Croque Monsieur, was just okay but I've had fabulous Croque Monsieurs at a French restaurant so, not fair! The waffle was great Highly recommended! read more

Cute little coffee shop downtown Pendleton. Stopped in quick for an iced latte to go and left with a HUGE delicious cinnamon roll I warmed up later at home and ate. While I was standing waiting for my coffee it smelled amazing I saw a couple entrees being served and they looked delicious, definitely need to head back and grab a bite to eat here. If the food tastes as good as the cinnamon roll it will be well worth the drive back for me. Service was a little slow but the young kid behind the counter was just that, young and probably his first job, he was doing the best he could, hopefully management can take him under their wing and grow him to be a great barista while he's there. Everyone needs to start somewhere, so show patience, it will be worth the wait! read more

Everything about this cafe is inviting. You can tell they use fresh fruits and vegetables in everything they make And the ambiance is calm and relaxed. The folks working there are very friendly and welcoming and it's obvious they care about the environment and service they provide. I typically don't drink lattes (I prefer an Irish coffee) but, the Rich and Famous is one of the best coffee/latte/espresso drinks I've ever had. Absolutely no signs whatsoever which is a pity because they have very good food. I had the best salad have had so far in Indiana. You order at the downstairs counter, they give you a number and you seat yourself. They do have a downstairs and upstairs seating area. They do bring you your food and I will mention that you clean up after yourself. There are cute little signs on each table where after you're done eating, you collect your plates and cups and bring it to a designated area. They also have massive cinnamon rolls that are only sold on Friday's and Saturday's. They do sell out quickly of these but if you can manage to grab one - do it! They're so good! Invited To The Table is one of my new favorite coffee shops! The owner and staff are friendly, sweet, helpful and ready to serve their community. The drinks are top-notch. If you want an excellent cup of coffee or espresso, you'll find it here - epic quality in taste and presentation. They use Promise Coffee beans, a local roaster. I love the collaboration of these two. All of their syrups are homemade! Like I said, the drinks are top-notch. The maple latte is delicious and highly recommended! My kiddo raves about their hot chocolate too - it is homemade as well. They have a variety of coffee and espresso drinks available, as well as Circle City Kombucha cans and sodas. And an impressive brunch menu. The building is an older home that's been transformed into a gorgeous brunch/coffee cafe. There is indoor seating upstairs & downstairs, as well as an outdoor patio. You order at the counter & they'll bring your order to you if you are dining in. But you can order drinks and food to-go as well. The atmosphere is also lack luster. It is bright and slightly open. The food is also not ideal, it seems like it is all prepared in a rush. This is not the place to stop in and grab a coffee. I got a drip vanilla latte which was amazing. For my meal I ordered one of their savory waffles. In their waffle batter they use the crystallized sugar which makes their waffles to die for. You can order either a sweet or savory waffles and honestly, I don't know if you could go wrong. I did get a cinnamon roll to have for breakfast and again was not disappointed.
