The server was polite and sweet, but the only server there, so waiting to get the first cup of coffee after everyone else at the table was already on their second glass of soda was not pleasing. When the coffee did arrive, with no silverware, I had to stir in the sugar packets with my finger. The food.. neither i nor my grandson liked the food. It was the omelet with some white butter (?) Drizzled over it that tasted strange and nasty, it ordered mine with no meat and there was no meat on it but it tasted like ham... my grandson took his food home to our pet pig, who did eat it. Once we arrived we were able to get a table pretty quick, but then we had to wait 10 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge us to get drinks, another 10 minutes to get the drinks and place the order. After doctor appointment stop with my son to cure our hunger pangs. We were greeted and shown to our table within a few minutes of walking in and our drink orders taken. Our waitress was efficient and courteous. I went with the combo of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and their new Cinnamon bun crepe. Everything came out hot and cooked to my liking. The crepe was delicious and the filling creamy. I added a side of toast as their breakfast don't appear to come with toast. My son had the Split Decision; 2-eggs, 2-bacon, 2-sausage, 2-pancakes and 1-slice of the new thick and fluffy French toast. He thoroughly enjoyed it and allowed me to sample the French toast which I must admit was damn tasty. This is a location I would visit again. read more

We dined during a Sunday rush-- no problem there. I worked for an IHOP for 10 years and loved it but this IHOP needs serious help...First, it's a Sunday and busy... no hostess up front. Waited about 5 minutes-- wasn't greeted by any of the staff who kept walking by, but one of the managers (female one) finally came up to take names for those of us waiting to be seated. We were seated (after the initial wait time) but it took over 9 minutes to be acknowledged & greeted by a/our server. By that time we ordered our drinks and food. After that everything was smooth sailing with our service.. My fiancé and I have worked many years in the hospitality/restaurant industry BUT it was mostly what we observed during our time there that just didn't sit well with my fiancé and I and that's why this rating is poor. We witnessed 2 tables walk out. They were never greeted or acknowledged by a server on the floor. Let alone the manager didn't even notice people were walking out...We saw checks get dropped off at tables but then never return to the table to grab or check for payment. It appeared 1 table left a note with their signature/card slip and it upset the server. Server showed the manager and the manager told her to scribble it out... like what?! Another table sat before us and didn't get their drinks until we were done with our food.... If that doesn't show you some patience and slow service then idk what would. This IHOP needs a legit break down of service meeting and/or the managers to all get on the same page and manage the team and teach them team-work. This place also seemed short staffed which are most places but this is where it's vital for the hustle & communication to come into play. A lot of money can be made at IHOP.. and if the servers believe they're making good money, I truthfully believe they can make MORE if they work on their steps of service. Oh and let me not forget when we first got there, there were 3 ihop staff out back rolling & smoking a blunt lol. When me and a few colleagues came to this IHOP after an invigorating run. We thought we would have a nice quick easy breakfast. But oh noooo we did not. For starters, this place was cold. And I don't just mean cold. This place was frigid. A couple times during our 2 HOUR WAIT for our food. Some of us had to step out for a few minutes. And you read it correctly. We waiting in this FUCKING IHOP for 2 HOURS trying to get our food. After we got our food.. some of it....... was missing. And that food never came. Horrible bathrooms, bad service, and an overall terrible experience. I recommend gouging your eyes out and eating dead bugs on the side of the road while simultaneously playing frogger on the highway before going here. Outstanding!! Covid protection at every turn with paper placemat menus, masked staff, and thoroughly cleaned tables & chairs between customers. Truly professional so staff. Kudos to the manager today who I found working alongside his staff pouring coffees and ice waters up. I had to sing him my praises before leaving. The host was patiently taking names & phone numbers as the wait time was 45 minutes. Our servers were Addie and Karisha, and they were the finest at every stage of our service, being helpful, timely, personable- Absolute Pros! Finally, hubby loves Chicken Fried Steak and at our servers recommendation he ordered it and thought it was the Best in the Eastern US! So nice to eat brunch out today during the COVID-19 crisis. We drove to Boardman, OH where restaurants are plentiful, and chose the IHOP. Social distancing, paper menus, individual packets of syrup, all follow the new guidelines. Our order arrived quickly and was delicious. There were 5 of us, seated us at a table for four and had to get an extra chair when there was a booth right next to us that would have seated 6. We asked several time for that booth but we'd told it would not fit us and we would have to wait 20 min for a booth. While my husband and I both enjoyed our food, the entire experience was awful. Our hostess/waitress was clearly not happy to be there. As she was getting ready to seat us, she was yelling to another employee in the back with a snarky tone. The whole time we were sitting at our table, we could hear the kitchen staff and wait staff yelling at each other, everyone was confused, but all of them seemed to think that they were the only ones who did know what was happening. I heard so much condescending talking between employees that it was alarming. Also, our waitress had asked another employee to bring out an order to one of her tables. When the girl was bringing it out and asked which table to bring it to, our waitress said "the guy just sitting there, all by himself." I found that to be extremely rude. We have been to IHOPs before at different locations and have never been so insulted. Not only will we never return to this location, but we will be sure to let everyone else know about this experience. read more
