I've been here numerous times, and I've left 5 stars on Google but it won't let me make another one. Dee and the girl with red hair are amazing and absolutely love them. I'm here and the server Shannon is literally terrible. We waited 30-40 minutes just to order. She sat us and greeted us and got our drinks then just didn't come back. Another table got there after and she got their orders before us... she took our order after the 30-40 minute wait and I asked for a water and it's been 15 minutes and she hasn't come back yet. I've been a server before and she used the pose like oops I forgot but I've seen that move, she knew we were here, we've made eye contact multiple times. Like girl reimburse us with something cuz wtf? We're extremely annoyed and wanted to walk out. After nearly an hour we got our food and it's not even correct. Id tell her but we don't want to wait another hour. I wish Google let you do multiple reviews so badly. But make sure you come when Dee and the girl with red hair work. We came for breakfast about 2 weeks ago, had an issue with sour hollandaise sauce, the manager Richard "dick" was so rude and accusatory, would only replace the meal and not remove it despite me not wanting it anymore. Wife and I were seated by a non-english speaking person who didn't understand we wanted a table. Brought out menus but forgot to give them to us. He did bring water. We sat for 15 minutes until I had to flag down someone to take our order. Wife ordered breakfast .. I ordered a chopped chicken salad. Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm a very open minded and empathetic person. However when we got there we ordered at it took 47min for our food to arrive. I had ordered Avocado Toast, when I received it the avocados were rock hard and I could not even cut them with a knife. My friend ordered a salad and the romaine was dirty. The service was not that great, we had to get up and grab silverware and condiments from another table. We never got our waters refilled. If you are looking for late night food I recommend this ihop. Chelsea was our server when we went looking for a sit down restaurant at 1am. She was the only server working and there was one cook working (I believe she called him Sean). The dining room was pretty full and she had a large table with like 12 teenagers as well. It was clear it had been packed just before we got there as she was still cleaning tables while serving the rest of us. She let us know if was going to be about a 10 minute wait to clear a table. We were more than happy to wait, she was clearly busy. She got us sat and took our order. One of the things I ordered was decaf coffee. I saw her go dump out a half pot and make me fresh coffee, which was super thoughtful. A lot of people would have just served me the old coffee after being that busy all night. The whole time we were there people kept coming in to dine in and she kept packing up Togo orders and cleaning tables and taking care of the people who were still there. I also noticed her communication with the one cook. They spoke to each other with respect and both busted their butts to get things done. Maybe I notice the little stuff more because I'm a general manager of a restaurant in California. But I have to say, this ihop is lucky to have Chelsea and Sean. Lesser people would have screwed up the order, or taken forever or maybe even walked out when it gets tough like that. But they were impressive to watch work, they maintained great attitudes, and clearly gave it their all. Our food was great, Sean didn't let the quality drop just because he was busy, and we got our food in a regular amount of time. Chelsea was so sweet and took great care of us. My sister and I both agreed, we would come back here for the Chelsea and Sean show. If we were locals they would have us coming to see them once a week. So if you are looking for late night food go see Chelsea and Sean, and be sure to tip them both well so they stay at this ihop. I want them to be there when I come back to visit next year. read more

Went here last night with my fiancée for a late night date spot. We both wanted burgers. As we walked in, it felt as if we were a bother to the staff, other than the man in the kitchen as he was very welcoming; the two women servers were very unwelcoming, but we pushed it aside and said "maybe they're having a bad night, or maybe they're tired". We got our order taken in a rushy manner. So we both end up ordering a burger each. But tell me why we would have been better off getting burgers at McDonald's. A caught them at their best Happy IHOP Pancake Day is today, free short stacks for everyone from 7 to 7. Instead, they would like you to make a donation to the All Children's Hospital in Tampa. That sounded like an outstanding idea. I stopped in at lunchtime. The place was busy, and also well-staffed. After I was seated my server was right over to take my drink order. I had looked over the menu before I left home and already knew I wanted the 55+ Breakfast Sampler, and the short stack of pancakes. The sampler is an egg, hash browns, a sausage, slice of ham, and a strip of bacon. It also comes with a pancake, and now I got three, because today was special. The food was ready quicker than I would have expected, well under 10 minutes. The sampler was a small breakfast to me, but then I had that second plate of pancakes, so I was more than good. My server was a happy person and I thought the vibe in the entire place very upbeat. They were doing something very positive today. A person came around asking for donations, making it easy for me to do my part. I had read many of the other reviews, the place is not rated well. I believe I caught them at their best. The dining room looked fine, almost like it was recently painted clean. The ceiling looked perfect. I did not get more than a glance at the cooking area, but I saw no problems. There was an expected level of noise for a busy restaurant, but it was not overly loud. Music was playing quietly in the background, I caught a Carly Simon song. Leaving a coffee pot on my table meant I could top off whenever I wanted. I liked that I paid the server instead of standing in a line at a register, which is what I had expected. I order the chicken fajita omelette i always order this particular omelette because it's so good but tonight it wasn't my eggs was burnt I did not receive no Serrano pepper I asked for sour cream I didn't receive that either I asked the guy who took my order over the phone to make sure I have these items he assured me that I would. They have good food for breakfast. I've been there a few times before with my family. The food is good, good for kids too. They usually have a super long wait in the mornings though. The guy that took our order was great, but the waffle I ordered was BARELY cooked, so I took it back and the next one that came out is burnt. A nice quiet little IHOP in the south Bradenton area. Stopped here while waiting to get an oil change done at the Honda dealer. Had a stack of pancakes, a little bacon, tomato juice and coffee. All good stuff to get my day started. Server Joell was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is clean, but the parking lot may be a little small to navigate in and out of. Tried to go here for dinner tonight. Shay was the hostess and server, as soon as we walked in the door she informed us that the fryer was out of commission (apparently they were cleaning it), there were no available steak items and they had no cinnamon spread. It was very obvious she didn't want to be there and would rather encourage others to go somewhere else rather than have to work. We decided to try it out regardless of her speech. I went to this IHOP today with my son and ordered the meal with egg whites and turkey bacon and they said they were out of the fruit and only had bananas or blueberries so I chose blueberries. When they came to the table almost every single blueberry was rotten and smashed and even one had mold in the waitress didn't seem to care and then when I took one bite of the egg whites I almost threw up and had to spit them out into a napkin because they tasted like they were cooked on the grill with fish.
