I was at a college soccer showcase in Sarasota for my 15 year old daughter who is a vegetarian (on the other hand I am a carnivore) . I was looking for a healthy alternative that would be filling for my daughter AND myself. Loved the ambience and the choices that were offered. Very bad service. Server neglected us & the restaurant was NOT crowded & there seemed to be plenty of them. Food was served COLD & lucky me-my eggs had a black hair! I sent everything back. The only plus is they have flavored creamers for the coffee. Even my broccoli soup came out very cold! The server seemed sweet but she only stopped by our table once. I ordered avocado toast with scrambled eggs. They drizzle oil over the avocado-not tasty or easy to eat. My food was taken off the bill but let me tell you, the bill was $45! My friend had avocado toast & my husband had an egg with toast. We all had coffee. Never going back. I could have had 5 warm bagel sandwiches for what I paid for cold eggs. I did like that I could pay the bill online & no one had to handle my credit card & I didn't have to wait to pay the bill. read more

My spouse and I came for brunch. We were greeted by a young lady opening the door for us. Once inside we were seated quickly and our waitress took our drink order. Mike and all other employees, managers and wait staff have been extremely kind and friendly. They greet me at the door with a welcome warm greeting. I have liked every employee there. That being said, the facility is clean, well kept and attractive. I generally only have coffee and toast each morning and can't say too much about the food but the two times I have eaten a meal there, one was delicious and the other I didn't care for so they offered me a different meal but I said no I didn't have time and that I had eaten enough food of the present meal that they did not have to comp me. They insisted and I said no so they gave me a $5 gift card. All in all, I give them a 9 out of ten. Additionally, they have a nice large covered outdoor seating area. I believe pet friendly but you need to check that out because I am not sure. JB read more

New and Great "looking" restaurant with what looks to be a delicious menu of items. HOWEVER, the staff doesn't want to work so they play the music VERY loud. They only offer coffee for your drink at brunch time and then turn the music up even LOUDER if you ask for it to be turned down a smidge. We of course walked out to the delight of the waiter. Wondered why this First Watch had only two couples eating in it while the same restaurant a mile down the same street was very busy. What stuck out to me was the lack of urgency, or even the slightest bit of hustle in the service. The restaurant was not busy, I arrived about 11:00 a.m., so after breakfast but before the lunch rush. It was requested I sit at the bar since I was alone. That was uncomfortable but the way the hostess made the request, it sounded like a table for 1 was not possible. I waited over 10 minutes to even be approached by a server. The food was good, but 1 waitress took my order, another brought coffee, another served the mimosa and yet another brought my food. Who was I supposed to tip? All of them, none of them? So much for establishing a rapport with anyone there. As a single patron I felt pretty invisible. I doubt the service warrants a return trip. read more

The food here is beyond compare. The waffles are delicate and sprinkled with cinnamon powdered sugar. They give you a mixed berry compote too. The pancakes are huge and delicious.Oh and the fresh baked blueberry muffins are so good. The staff are also beyond compare. Ambiance is nice. Open and comfortable. Wait staff are welcoming, friendly and vigilant. Tea and coffee are served from a carafe that's left on the table, nice change for tea drinkers. Quinoa bowl was pretty good. But the potatoes served with another dish were too salty. We were informed that they're seasoned the night before en masse.
