This place was horrible. They keep the AC at about 50 degrees so my husband and I were freezing waiting for our food. I got a coffee and asked for creamer. I waited and waited while the server walked by 4 times. Finally I had to get up and ask again for creamer. When we got our food it was cold of course. We both choked down our meals and it wasn't until we were almost done that the server came by and asked how everything was. My husband had to go wait in our car while I waited for the check. This is my local IHOP. In the 12 years of going to this place, we have had about 3 good experiences. The Service varies between 1 star to 2 stars. Most of the wait staff is inexperienced and has no clue on what providing decent service is. Don't get me wrong, we aren't looking some amazing service that you find in an expensive restaurant, but the ability to get a simple two person order should not be hard. The one good thing the wait staff is good at, is not making eye contact and doing everything they can to leave the dining area as quickly as possible and retreat to the kitchen. I cannot tell how frustrating it is to sit down, during the weekday, and wait 12 minutes and not even place a drink order in and watch waitresses stand in the kitchen area gabbing. But hey, lucky for the two hostesses they get to stand and watch us walk out. If and when you get your order correctly and the waiter has ran from your table be ready to expect cold eggs and uneven proportions. If you do chance to send your plate back, do so at your own risk of wasting another 10 minutes and watching the other people finish eating by the time you get your plate back. The tea taste two days old, the coffee is mediocre and the soda is great as long as you can get a refill. We have been at several IHOPs and never come close to what repeatedly happens at the Casa Grande IHOP. But to end this on a positive note.
