Answer: "IHOP" The question my coworker and I have asked each other many times over the past 3 years. Last week, we chose IHOP :) We typically visit weekdays at noon to get out of the office. While relatively busy, the place has plenty of room. We've never found ourselves having to wait, even with larger groups (5+). The wait staff are always friendly, offering prompt service (important when you need to get back for that 1:15 call you already pushed back)! As for the food...I mean...who doesn't love breakfast all day long! And the fact is, the quality is consistent. Everything I order from the coffee to the belgian waffle combo with that extra side of butter, it never fails. So, head on over to your local IHOP and get yourself a Belgium waffle with extra butter. The food here definitely meets IHOP standards. But due to the labor shortage that's happening, the service is lacking. If you don't mind waiting a bit, I can promise you that you'll enjoy your food here. Be sure to ask for everything you need when the server takes your order, because they more than likely will not be back to check on you. Chain so I had no grandiose aspirations. The primarily Spanish array of fantastic staff were a balm on my soul. The host who sat me confiding with a grin after hearing a snippet of my Pancake Odyssey. "...I think we just ran out..." Everywhere around me patrons were chatting in Spanish and it felt delightfully welcoming and exotic. (As opposed to another eatery I tried early but left instantly where a far more exclusionary vibe reigned. It's strange how one place made it obvious English speakers weren't a priority or particularly welcome and here, I felt like I was at an old friends' cousins' home. Can't people be nice? They can be and those are places I return to.) The waitress looked like she stepped out a Tango painting with that little stylish curly wisp of black hair at the hairline. A beaming smile, a sweet demeanor and a happiness to be there in the here and now. I of course regaled her with a smidge of my pancake odyssey and I commented while perusing the menu that I must have died and gone to pancake heaven! Which would make her a pancake Angel! We had a laugh and I leapt upon the Swedish crepes! Who serves SWEDISH CREPES WITH LINGONBERRIES ! WELL THEY DO! Then Ms. Waitangel read my mind when I wanted something to balance the sweet and there was a combination with scrambled eggs and bacon. And that's a Fact!! Now this is a fairly new IHOP, 3 or 4 months in business now. The both times that I graced this place with my presence, I found this to be a well run and well trained restaurant. From the moment I made my entrance to the time of my departure, the Service here was very attentive. They probably recognized me and that explains the Royal treatment. My experience at IHOP restaurant was very good. I normally frequent IHOP in the morning, and the service --- even though early --- was exceptional. The bathrooms were cleaned very well, and the food was of quality IHOP standard. One of my friends had the Belgium waffle combo. Wow one of my other friends ordered the poblano omelette. Both items were met with satisfactory ratings. I ordered the country fried steak with eggs, and I finished it within 10 minutes. Our waitress came and frequented the table to make sure all our necessities were met. There are also some bus boys, who are not necessarily serving... But when we asked for something, they never hesitated and got us what we wanted. So why the four stars? It's IHOP. The service maybe five stars, but the food is not the best food... Unfortunately this is an IHOP location to avoid for now. Looks great and is brand new, but the operations are definitely not worked out yet. IHOP in Kenvil is run far superior and worth whatever extra drive is involved. Issues included: - timing of the food (dishes came out about 10 minutes apart) - promos that other locations accept are NOT accepted here, including Kids eat Free Friday and regular coupons - no kids cups - served a 1.5 year old water in a glass! May check back in 6 months or so and see if they've turned it around. One extra star back for a manager who definitely was trying to make things as tight as he could. read more

When we walked in, they told us there would be a 15 minute wait. After waiting for over an hour, we were told that they weren't seating guests because their kitchen was backed up with online orders and they "didn't want us to have a negative experience." More than half of the tables in the restaurant were empty. We could have been seated to at least have coffee while the kitchen caught up. News flash, IHOP: waiting in your vestibule for over an hour after being told that the wait was fifteen minutes IS a negative experience, and you need to give your customers wait estimates that actually reflect your wait times. Especially when the wait times are artificially induced by your own refusal to seat people. Exceptionally poor management. read more

This IHOP (or IHOB whatever your preference) opened recently and this was my first visit there. The staff was good and took our order in a timely manner. I ordered the Big Steak Omelette and it came according to my specifications. I always get frustrated when the picture in the menu looks nothing like the actual meal. I saw some good and some bad review about this place. Please understand that it is newly open and the staffs need more training. I give three star after considering these factors. If I came in six months and have the same experience, I will give two. By the way, where is the IHOP trainer staffs onsite? I did not see any of them. The new staffs are trying their best despite their limitations. My comments here are simply trying to help the manager to make this place better. OK. There are some new things on the menu this year. The variety of pancakes has expanded, while maintained the same quality. The first thing I noticed that, after I raise my arm looking for help, there are four staffs chatting and no one looked at my way. Second, some un-ordered side dishes came to our table. We told the staff who immediately took them away. interestingly, they remained on our bill. Finally, the internet is down and no one can use credit card. When my friend and aunt first walked in we were actually really excited to eat. We love ihop. But just this ihop sucked. We got sat right away by the hostess and looked over the menu while our waiter came up 15 minutes later we had already chosen our food in the span of 5 minutes being here. The place is completely empty. Why does it take 15 minutes? We ordered our drinks and food and he went back into the kitchen all of the wait staff is in the kitchen laughing and talking. Now I understand why it took another 20 minutes for our food to come while our drinks were no where to be found. We had to ask again for our drinks cause he forgot them. Horrible customer service. Not only was the wait the shortest I have ever waited at an IHOP, the food was the freshest and the tastiest I have ever had. The restaurant is airy and the tables are so spacious with adequate room for adults to sit in the both. This is definitely your next generation IHOP. My husband and my son and I all ordered breakfast items. My over medium eggs, bacon and pancakes was perfection. My husband ordered the same thing and he commented how tasty and hot everything was. The server even commented how fast I ate my meal. I told her because I truly loved the food. The quality of the food was exceptional. Seemed like only 15 mins, and our food was served. It smelled amazing, and it tasted so good. Straight up, no overcooked/undercooked eggs, omelet looked perfect cooked and HUGE, no browning of any kind, pancakes light and fluffy. I actually got what I ordered without any problems or send backs. The bill was as much as we would usually spend on one appetizer. New fav place. However, I have twice ordered a meal with turkey only to leave the restaurant hungry. There was less than an ounce of turkey meat in both of those entrees.
