Came here on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself is really cute, with dim lighting to set the mood without being so dark you can't see. We had a reservation for 7:30, but it looked like they still had a decent amount of tables available so I wouldn't rule this place out for walk-ins. Fig&Lily Garden only serves wine/mocktails along with regular drinks, so we opted for the red sangria which was refreshing but didn't really have fruit in it which is sometimes the best part! Started off with calamari for our appetizer and it was pretty good. For entrees, we got the lobster risotto and the lamb chops. Both were really amazing and definitely will be ordering again. Service was a bit slow; we waited for what seemed like a while to get our order in and it took quite some time to get our check. My wife and I were so excited to dine here but unfortunately it fell short of our expectations. To put it simply, the food was not great. I ordered a Greek salad which turned out to be a very bland $20 bowl of tomatoes and cucumbers with a block of feta on top...20 dollars for tomatoes and cucumbers?! According to the menu it should've had red onion in it but that was missing entirely from the dish. I don't mind spending money when I get a dish that I wouldn't be able to make at home but I could have easily gone to ShopRite and gotten two beefsteak tomatoes and a pack of cukes for 5 dollars and made a better salad. I was hoping for a bit more flavor from the dressing. Plus multiple pieces of tomato included the ends. My wife got a gyro and it looked incredible but it tasted odd - it had strange sour taste. The two positive were the atmosphere and the service. Our waiter was very attentive, kind, and friendly. My wife loved the "vibes". Overall for what we paid and what we got, we feel duped. I hosted my sister's bridal shower at Fig & Lily, one of her favorite restaurants. Communication from day one was clear and enjoyable. Prices were reasonable, menu was enticing, and staff seemed ready for anything. We were blessed with beautiful weather and were able to have it in their garden area. The day started a little windy and the staff went above the call to help us secure everything and just in any way possible. The food was amazing, the ambiance was breathtaking, and, I can't begin to say this enough, the staff was incredible!!! I would host every event here without question. Very pretty entrance to the garden and outdoor area is so nice . The food was hit and miss. fried calamari was good, grilled octopus was tasty but chewy. My lamb chops was good but on the salty side. My husband ordered the filet mignon as medium b but it was well done. The branzino was the worst part. Looked like chicken when it arrived and it was very dry. Service was on the slow side. A terrific stop in downtown Morristown if you're looking for a quality meal, a fun vibe, some unique selections, and great service! We went there on Sunday and had brunch, I ordered the sundae brunch eggs, which came with tomatoes, eggplant, and feta cheese! I ordered some toast on the side. Absolutely superb! One of the best brunch dishes I've ever had! The grilled chicken sandwich was solid, good serving nice piece of chicken a tad dry, but delicious and the whole thing was eaten. I was really super impressed with the hummus and pita they served. The hummus was one of the best I've had in a long time, and they gave you such a generous amount of pita breads! Absolutely delicious appetizer. We also ordered some sort of cinnamon and tomato dip for an appetizer which was delicious. I want to point out how nice the ambience is in here with a great vibe and if you're with a group of friends, definitely a good spot to hit! It looks like they served killer drinks here too! I came here with a big group. Now I will say we also had reservations so I expected the service to be a lot better. I felt when we got there they were not ready for us and it took forever for us to get service. Even just getting water seemed like a chore. I also didn't like that this place has a rule that you have to order a meal. It was like 10 of us we order apps and lots of drinks and then you at forcing us to order entrees too! My boyfriend and I went to Fig & Lily Garden for our anniversary this past weekend and very much enjoyed our experience! The weather was beautiful (we reserved a table outside) in the most beautiful garden patio, there was a band playing great music, just a gorgeous summer night. At some points we felt like we were waiting a bit for someone to come by so we could get more water, but there was numerous staff walking around so we sought random staff out at times. We shared the falafel -- I really enjoyed the pickled veggies on the side and felt they complimented the hummus and falafel great! We also loved the warm pita bread and oil. I think we could've used more oil with the bread though. I got the coconut curry and tofu. As a vegan I loved this option -- very unique and better than the typical veggie burger. It was a coconut curry with tofu, black rice, and mixed veggies: broccoli, cauliflower, carrot, brussel sprouts. I think this dish could've used more tofu! My boyfriend got the mediterranean branzino with gnocchi and a nice butter sauce. He especially liked the gnocchi! Noted he would've liked to had salt on the table to add to his dish. The interior is modern and inviting, and we were greeted warmly by our server and seated near the window. The risotto was excellent when it was eaten with a bite of chicken and sauce together. Other members of the group had tenderloin fettucine. The beef was tender and the sauce was tasty. I visited Fig & Lily Garden with a friend while we were hanging out in Morristown one night. The restaurant is beautiful; I love the entire vibe and décor. They offer a variety of wines to choose from, but it's a bit limited. There are plenty of items on the menu that are gluten-free and vegetarian/vegan friendly, so I appreciated the number of options available. I decided on the green risotto because it sounded delicious. Upon arriving at the table, my dish looked tasty and I was excited to dig in, only to discover it was incredibly bland. I was pretty disappointed at this since I had such high hopes based on my friend's recommendation for the restaurant. Even with my seasonless risotto, I wasn't quite ready to dismiss F&L so quickly. A few weeks later, I decided to treat my fiancé to a date night there so he could check it out. For my second trip, I instead opted for a bunch of small plates to sample from and I enjoyed it much more. Fries, falafel, hummus, tzatziki, and more made for a better dining experience. I'm happy I didn't immediately give up on the restaurant, but I would say that ordering a few plates was a better play rather than depending on an entrée. Some of the worst service I've ever experienced. The hostess was so incompetent; the phone would ring and she'd spend an inordinate amount of time with the callers when the matters should've been taken care of in minutes -- and she totally ignored those waiting to be seated standing in front of her. The waiter was totally not helpful and ignored customers, leaving us sitting there with empty beverage glasses for extended periods of time, as he stood in the outside bar, shooting the breeze with other employees. Given the heat we requested seating in doors and the waiter told us that it was closed -- only to have us find people seated and eating inside! He was so bad, we had to actually get up and have him hunted down when we wanted to leave and pay the bill. The food was expensive for what you got; have had much better fare at Turkish restaurants in San Diego for quite less money. So disappointed. read more

I've been to their updated location for lunch and dates over the past few years and have to say that the food and service does not disappoint. The last time I got their gyro without the pita and it was absolutely delicious. Fries are crispy and come with a wonderful slightly spicy dip and will give you ketchup if you need as well. read more

French toast and fries were both decent, but unfortunately the Gozleme just tasted like burnt bread. The interior was darkly decorated, a bit different from what I would have expected based on the name of the restaurant - though I guess it's more fitting for the outdoor part. After being told that this was our first visit, he went above and beyond, in order to make our meal memorable.....which he accomplished, with flying colors. My Classic Margarita was amazing. They crafted a great drink, it was well presented, and was throughly enjoyed. The complimentary bread was pleasantly warm and the accompanying oil, peppers, and olive made this a delightful start to the meal. Every single entree was DELICIOUS and we shared compliments...after every bite! The Cold Mezze Platter was great for sharing and were all super fresh; the hummus and eggplant medley were my favorites. The Calamari was crispy on the outside and not too chewy on the inside. Both Flatbreads were decent but neither stood out to me and could be skipped. A bunch of us had ordered Mint Lemonades and all received Classic Lemonades. I'm a big fan of mint lemonades and will order one almost everywhere I see it available. This one didn't look like a mint lemonade at all but were assured multiple times that it was. A Mint Lemonade is typically green in color due to the fresh mint blended in. Later in the evening, someone else at our table ordered a Mint Lemonade and received the right drink. We pointed this out to the waiter to order Mint Lemonades and he came back with Classic Lemonades again! We could not figure out where the disconnect and miscommunication was. After multiple attempts, we finally got our Mint Lemonades. Was it worth the hassle? Yes. The Classic Lemonade was way too sweet for my taste and I barely got through half of it. The Mint Lemonade was light, not too sweet, and you could really taste the fresh mint in every sip. Back to the food - my Lamb Chops were delicious! They were cooked to a perfect medium and were super tender. The vegetables and potatoes were fine but I think it would've been better if served with mashed potatoes. Being Middle Eastern myself, I feel like I have high standards for Middle Eastern desserts, but these desserts hit! Out of the two we got, the Turkish Sweet Cheese Kunefe is absolutely the one to get. They say it takes 15 mins to order but I think it was actually a bit quicker. The Kunefe was insanely buttery on the inside, sweet with the rose syrup, and had a nice crispy texture on the outside. The ice cream actually elevated the dessert even more and paired nicely with the warm Kunefe. All in all, pretty solid spot for Mediterranean food if you're in the Morristown area! read more

It was my friends birthday, and she is actually from Greece, so when she said she wanted traditional fresh food, I knew the spot! Earlier this week, I called and made a reservation for 8 people on Sunday night, in the igloos. Gentleman explained that they had heaters and blankets and how it all worked. Got a text to confirm my reso the day before and all was set. Called this morning on a whim to confirm, and was told that the igloos are only open on Fri & Sat nights...weird considering I just spoke to someone on Thursday, but whatever. Lost a star for this. Anyways, we show up and the table is ready to go. Place was pretty empty for a Sunday at 6pm, but it's the week of a major holiday, so I guess that's it. Being a large group who'd never been here before, we wanted to try everything. For appetizers, we started with the falafel balls, Phyllo Cheese Rolls, hummus, and Greek Salad. All were amazing! Falafel was flavorful. Cheese rolls were nice and full, and not too greasy. Hummus was seasoned perfectly, as not too thick or soupy. The bread it came with was chewy and warm. Perfect combo. I wasn't so sure about the Greek Salad at first because I'd never seen one without lettuce, but it was SO GOOD!!! Perfectly seasoned and the feta was to die for. For entrees, everyone had different dishes: The coconut curry, salmon, lamb chops, chicken Shish, Adana pistachio, and the Mozzarella, tomato, basil flatbread. Overall, the food was great and very filling, but I agree with previous posters that the prices were outrageous. $16 for 4 cheese rolls is wild, and $18 for a 'kids' chicken kabob with fries is insane. Calamari was $20 for a small, single-serve portion. They def need to make the prices more reasonable. Seriously, why is my adult flatbread the same price as my daughter's kid meal? Also, you may noticed my flatbread does not have tomato, but olives instead. Still not sure they gave me the right dish, but it tasted fine. I really enjoyed the beautiful garden setting, though the nearby construction noise (September 2025) made it difficult to fully enjoy. ​For our group brunch, the food was simply alright. I ordered the zucchini and dill omelette, which was a little too watery for my liking, and the savory items didn't really impress anyone at our table. ​However, the desserts were a definite highlight. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors were very good--the pear and saffron was especially delicious. Brought friends of a holiday brunch in December. We dined in one of their igloos and were very comfortable (at times a bit warm even). Service was attentive but not overbearing and they have a remote bell if there is no server in the area. I like the food a lot - the dips and grilled meats are great. I'm not a big egg person but my friends really enjoyed theirs. The breads are also top notch. My favorite appetizer is the halloumi - I see halloumi, I order halloumi. It's not the kind of place I want to go to every week, but whenever I need something cute that's also delicious, Fig and Lily comes to mind. read more

Great Mediterranean restaurant in downtown Morristown. Been here twice. Once for a sprinkle shower and once for dinner with friends. Both times food was solid. It's byob so that's a plus.
