Lovely breakfast experience we have on this branch. Clean and smells good. Ample seating and table space. Our server was nice and has initiative. Quantity of food served here is quite smaller compared to other ihops though. See images for further reference

The food here definitely meets IHOP standards. But due to the labor shortage that's happening, the service is lacking. If you don't mind waiting a bit, I can promise you that you'll enjoy your food here. Be sure to ask for everything you need when the server takes your order, because they more than likely will not be back to check on you. I've been to this location a few times already so trust me on that. The restaurant is clean and spacious. It sits in the middle of a shopping complex so there's plenty of parking.

Second time I've been here. Ordered spinach and mushroom omelette with hollandaise sauce on the side. Comes with fruit and/or three buttermilk pancakes. Order comes out very quickly. Service is wonderful. I recommend this place!

Hear Ye!! Local IHOP fans Rejoice!! I Am the self proclaimed Breakfast King of the Freakin Northern Hemisphere. And as the King I'll make this decree, IHOP Rules the anytime of day breakfast circuit. And that's a Fact!! Now this is a fairly new IHOP, 3 or 4 months in business now. The both times that I graced this place with my presence, I found this to be a well run and well trained restaurant. From the moment I made my entrance to the time of my departure, the Service here was very attentive. They probably recognized me and that explains the Royal treatment. Or they just treat every guest like this. In either case, that's pretty impressive. The food here was everything I would expect it to be and more. Kingly sized portions and tremendously delicious dishes that satisfied and didn't break the treasure chest. On this day I make this decree - Cometh and get thy Munch on!!

IHOPs are pretty standard everywhere you go but I think this one deserves a praise. Waitress was very kind and quick, restaurant was clean and for a Sunday it wasn't extra busy. Food also tasted great. Little hint: whenever you go to a ihop ask for real eggs, not that powdered stuff they give you.

I ordered the Country Fried Steak breakfast!!! Didn't realize it was a "food challenge"...not timed thank goodness. Delicious!!

Never disappointed at IHOP! Well, once I was...they were closed. Another great meal! Thnx

My kids love breakfast at IHOP today we decided to make a bet no electronics for the next 48 hours. If they follow through they will each get $20. If my daughter wins there will be two waitresses that will get a nice tip if she succeed I will post an update with pictures tomorrow Monday, November 11, 2019 Update: My son the one on the left in the picture gave up at 5:30pm that same date that we made the bet when he realized that he couldn't watch TV this is what you call spoiled kids :/

If your not in a rush this is the place for you. Practically empty and sat for 15 minutes without anyone coming by. Had to ask for a server.

The Morristown location sits right on South Street across from the Green. It gets very busy for breakfast/brunch but they are also open for lunch and dinner. I really enjoy their all-day brunch menu. During my most recent visit, I ordered the Goddess salad which was delicious. I am obsessed with the dressing paired with this salad. It was extremely light, creamy, and perfect for summer. The Fried Pickles were also breaded nicely and the Spinach Artichoke Dip was super creamy. There is a decent amount of seating available inside and a few tables for outdoor dining. I also decided to order the chipotle bacon burger this time as my main. It was a tad too salty and lacked the chipotle sauciness for me. The sweet potatoes waffle fries was yummy. Maybe next time I'll just go with the Brie Burger. Overall the service was quick and super nice. Notable mentions are when I asked for barbecue sauce on the side and since there were two kinds, the waitress gave me one of each. I would definitely come back or visit another branch.

The service felt "off" all night, despite the staff's best efforts. Upon arrival, our party of four was led to a table set for only three. Since the restaurant was packed, we had to stand awkwardly in the dining area for several minutes while a chair was brought over from the bar. The host was very apologetic and graciously provided a complimentary order of the Focaccia appetizer ($16) to make amends. However, when we later asked our server for one piece of bread to finish the leftover whipped ricotta, a runner brought out an entire second order of Focaccia.. which eventually turned up on our bill. To their credit.. they later comped the two coffees we ordered with dessert. The bar and kitchen are clearly talented, but the evening continued to have strange pacing and communication gaps. I had the Local Rotisserie Chicken ($32), a generous airline-style cut that was incredibly tender and flavorful, served with perfectly prepared market greens and roasted potatoes. My companion thoroughly enjoyed the Gulf Shrimp Casarecce ($30), and another guest was very impressed with the Chili Brined Grilled Pork Chop ($41), which was both a generous portion and packed with flavor. A manager informed one guest that the linguine for their Crab and Jalapeño dish ($34) didn't meet their standards and asked if it was okay to substitute casarecce instead. While we appreciate the quality control, it was an odd mid-meal adjustment. The Morris Proper has all the ingredients for a five-star destination, but the front-of-house coordination needs to match the high caliber of the kitchen. The primary reasons I'm settling on four stars are these small service lapses and a high noise level that made it difficult for our party of four to converse at a reasonable volume. We will definitely be back. PRO TIP: Complimentary parking is available in the M Station garage. We initially pulled into the 'Retail Parking' area from the Spring Place entrance, but there were neither any spots available nor any signs to direct us to parking elsewhere. If you're visiting the Morris Proper for dinner during the week or any time on the weekend, enter through the main Morris Street entrance to the M Station garage (between 100 and 110 Morris Street) and have your parking ticket validated by the host.

So disappointed and I am proceeding with caution here in a revisit. I'll stick to my tried and true Agricola.

The space on the first floor is divided into a lively bar area with plenty of TVs and a slightly quieter main dining room with comfortable booths and tables. There is also seating on an outdoor terrace on the second floor and a few tables in front of the restaurant on South Street if you're up for dining al fresco. It's a terrific option in Morristown that's sophisticated enough for a date on the outdoor terrace when the weather cooperates or a pre-theater meal in the dining room, yet casual enough for beers and appetizers while watching a game in the bar area. The menu captures the essence of modern American comfort food. Whether you're grabbing the Stirling Burger ($18) -- made from a tasty short rib and brisket blend -- or splurging on the Grilled New York Strip ($48) topped with crabmeat fries, the quality is evident. They are also great with dietary restrictions. Between the various poultry, fish, and vegetarian options on the menu and the kitchen's willingness to make moderate accommodations in any other dish, there's something for everyone. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the service. We recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday here, and our server made it memorable by honoring her milestone birthday by playfully asking for her ID EVERY SINGLE TIME she ordered a drink. It became a running joke for the night and made the occasion feel extra special. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars for me is that both sides of the main floor can get pretty loud when it's packed and the prices are a bit on the higher side for casual dining. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: Stirling Tavern offers a Happy Hour Monday through Friday between 3pm and 6pm, which features specials on certain cocktails, wines, beers, and light snacks. You must be seated at the bar to take advantage of the promotional pricing. If you enjoy a good Old Fashioned, try the JB ($10), made with Four Roses bourbon, blood orange amaro, orange & angostura bitters. PRO TIP #2: Stirling Tavern does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on South Street or Maple Avenue. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #8 (@ 10 Franklin Street) and Vail Parking Area (@ 110 South Street). FREE on-street parking is located on MacCulloch Avenue, just two blocks from Stirling Tavern.
