We had IHOP for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. The restaurant was a bit busy but it took 5-7 min to ask for and receive our pickup order. Once we got home, the food was a little soggy. We popped the waffle and pancake in our oven and it got crispy in about 5 min. Food is not bad. My husband loved the waffle and the hash browns. This was an awful experience. Short staffed, restaurant was dirty and food was so nasty. Egg omelets were over cooked, pancakes were rubbery, sausage was not real meat, gravy was cold as where the biscuits. All the food was really not edible. Truly a gut filler. Avoid at all costs. Quite possibly the worst restaurant experience of my life for a family brunch 9/1. Quoted 30 minute wait, took an hour which I can get over. When we turned the corner inside to be seated it was apparent that this place is the wrong choice for Sunday breakfast. Literally only 1/2 the restaurant was full, the rest filled with dirty tables that had been vacant for most of the time of our wait. We should have turned around and left. While we went through the dining process, which is as nice and objective as I'll call it, at least for another hour, most of those tables were never cleaned nor sat. Our waitress was abrupt and mostly missing in action. Kids chocolate milk never refilled, our coffee ran out. Waitress dropped off our meals and we never saw her again for 25-30 minutes. Two of our meals were wrong but I ate mine because she never checked back and there were no wait staff tending to the dirty tables surrounding us that would help. Eventually when we were done and ready for the bill she reappeared. Offered to get me another omelet which I didn't want. Brought us the check and we had to ask her to take off the wrong omelet which she did. Took another 15 minutes to bring the updated check, another 5 for payment. No manager was apparently working, if they were they should be fired because we never saw them the entire time. Literally the worst run place I've been. My family literally all felt sick to our stomachs almost immediately after eating and for the rest of the day until we each had restroom emergencies later in the evening. This place should be closed by corporate or the health department until they can be properly trained, managed and run. Save yourself, do not go here. read more

My family goes here a lot, mostly Sunday afternoon. Service is always pretty good, food is good for the price and I thought I'd help by giving them a reasonable rating. I have never had any issues with this place, I have a family of 7 children. They always treat us right and food is always brought in a timely manner. Every once in a while something is missing or something is cold. But a simple and polite request the waitress always makes it right. The only reason for not being a five star is because there is always room for improvement and for the reasons stated above. But we will always go here if they keep doing what they're doing. Tried to have dinner there last night around 7:45pm but left after waiting 10 minutes at the hostess stand for a hostess to seat us. I saw three servers and three servers saw us but not one of them bothered to even acknowledge we were there. There is a disconnect from what you order in the IHOP app and what prints out and is made in store. Although I paid in advance on the app, I did not receive the salad that came with my entree, and three drinks. The print out had no reference to these other items, although I had to select a dressing type in the app. On the flip side, there was nothing to sign and no way to add a tip. Start by saying our waiter was great. Not his fault the kitchen can't put out decent food. Tried to order a waffle. Told out of waffle mix (this at a pancake house). Ordered 1 slice of French toast with sausage. The links were smaller than my little finger and stone cold. Butter almost melted on the semi cold french toast.. Hubby ordered Chicken fried Steak eggs over easy with fries instead of hash browns and wheat toast. What he got was hash browns and pancakes with his meal. Waiter took it back for corrections. Returned with only one egg (cold ) instead of two buried under the semi warm chicken fried steak with about a tablespoon worth of gravy. When toast finely arrived after meal mostly eaten it was white not wheat. Things must be tough since they no longer have a variety of Syrup on table. Gave up trying get things corrected. I love IHOP but this location is not good. The food quality is so bad here. Pancakes are IHOPs signature menu item but here they are so chewy and rubbery and impossible to cut through. It tasted like they had been cooked earlier and reheated. Everything was very overcooked. They have a big sign up front that says kids eat free everyday from 4pm to 10pm but the server still tried to charge for the kids meals. I think I had the worst burger ever on Mother's Day prepared by IHOP in Cedar Park on 1431. It was a simple burger, nothing special. The meat patty tasted as if it had been cooked two days prior and rewarmed. The fries were cold and rubbery and tasted as if the had been cooked with fish. Although we placed an order for pick up at a specific time and my home is about a 7 minute drive from this IHOP, everything (the meat, the bun, the fries) was cold and rubbery. There was no excuse for this and it ruined my Mother's Day lunch with my daughter, I had to throw the entire thing away and eat cereal. Yeah, thanks IHOP. Amy M. P.S. I drove there and check in and waited 25 min in my car, finally I went in (in my pyjama's) to found out that my order had been sitting on the counter for the 25 min! The girl working was the ONLY person waitressing, checking people in and responsible to take out car side orders! Now I am still mad that she couldn't take 20 seconds to walk my order out, but she was overwhelmed. So I took my 3 wet, soggy pancakes home. We've all been to IHOPs in our lifetime, so I don't need to go into detail on the food. The food here is pretty run of the mill and standard, at least every time I have been. Here's the rundown: -Everything takes a long time here. I think the place is understaffed, so each server has so many tables, it's hard for them to keep up. The food also seems to take forever to come out. -The tables could be bussed a bit nicer. It's common to find crumbs on the bench seats and sticky spots on the table tops. Also the floor could be vacuumed more often, especially under the tables. -The servers are usually pretty friendly, but many seem to need more training. I get that it's a lot of people's first serving jobs, but some things could be fixed with more training or even smaller sections. (Just speaking from my own personal years of working in a restaurant.) Overall, it's a pretty average IHOP, which is very casual dining, but a few tweaks could make this a much better location, in my opinion. read more

WARNING! Please read! We have been to this place several times in the past year. First visit was alright. Like any trip to a 24 hour breakfast spot. Second trip, the waitress was amazingly rude. Waitstaff was standing around while at least 6 tables in our area had piles of dirty dishes on top of them. Every table had puddles of syrup and ketchup spills. Last visit takes the cake. We were seated quickly. Waitress seemed indifferent. There were two tables full of drunk rednecks yelling obscenities and making racial comments. 3 or 4 waitresses were hovering around the tables laughing and joining in the classless humor. It's an IHOP. I know I shouldn't expect much. Right after we ordered, we saw MICE scurrying in between the booths. They would dart in and out grabbing at the crumbs all over the carpet. DISGUSTING!!! We got up and left very quickly. I mentioned to the manager why we were leaving but just blankly stared at me after I said you have mice. I drove by the other night and the place was closed.
