I had already long passed the point of hangry and couldn't make any further logistical decisions, so defaulted to the path of least resistance. Normally, I don't love the digital ordering system setup, but it does make it very easy to see all your options and customize to the nth degree. Pick out your protein, starch base, sauce, and individual vegetables. Super accommodating for those who are vegan or have food allergies. The food came quickly but I was dismayed to see that I got fried tofu, not the soft tofu I asked for. I was prepared to accept it but the manager fired off a new dish for me right away, and the soft tofu genuinely made it 100% better. Done with fire bowl, have had 3 visits in the last 2 months as the flavor is so good and I crave it but I just have to walk away at this point. With being close to many large corps like Dell they do get a lot of large take out orders which is fantastic I love to see places stay busy, it's hard for restaurants right now. But there is literally zero reason there should ever be a 30 min ticket time with zero line to order. At the 25 min mark I got up and had to ask for it to go. The manager was extremely friendly. Poor guy was busting his ass, they all were. Seemed fully staffed. But I can't trust them to get me my food in a lunch standard amount of time. This is considered "fast" food a ticket time should be at tops 15 min. Literally 30 min on the dot and all I got was I'm sorry leading me to believe this is a normal occurrence. When paying $15 for one lunch with zero sides, I can't continue to support them. I'm sure they will be fine with the big corps and their company credit cards but as a consumer on my own dime I'm scrubbing fire bowl from my lunch rotation. I'll say today it also smelled like mildew when I walked in. It was off putting and wondering if there is an underlying issue. Something to look into for sure. I also would advise moving the self order kiosk, the reflection is bad enough n front of the window making it frustrating to see. Fireball Café is one of my favorite fast food restaurants in Round Rock. I've been here probably 60 or 70 times and have ordered the same thing every single time. That is Singapore noodles. The Singapore noodles with shrimp or sometimes chicken are absolutely delicious. They have a touch of curry, not too much, but just just right. They seem to be very consistent as they taste the same just about every time. The restaurant was pretty slow when we arrived for lunch and we had trouble getting someone to help us place the order. I'm not sure where all the employees were, but they were not evident except for the cooks in the kitchen. Nevertheless, our orders arrived rather promptly, and we enjoyed every last bit of it. My wife had the lo mein chicken and I had to Singapore noodles with shrimp. I can't recommend it enough! read more

LONG WAIT & RUDE MANAGER: I was waiting for my food watching them fill take out order after take out order. Dine-in people were waiting a bit long for a place like this. Also, the manager (she said her name was Kay) was rude to an elderly couple next to me who inquired about their food taking so long (TBH I was wondering the exact same thing at that point). The manager never apologized for the wait and her tone was such that she was right and they were wrong for even asking. Then as she walked away from them she said the word "bitch", which I heard loud and clear. Long story short, the elderly couple and myself did not dine, requested a refund immediately, got the refunds and walked out. The manager still never apologized. Not the place it used to be. I lived in the area for 10 years when I worked nearby. Always clean and fresh, but now it is like untrained people in the kitchen that don't know how to handle a wok. The new owners seem to be hiring family and friends, and the food quality has taken a big hit. We will drive to the Lakeline location after our visit yesterday. I complained to the manager about the ridiculous spring roll, which was just a mass of noodles, and she just said she would speak to the cook. No offer to remake it or to reduce our bill. The flavor was fine but my noodles were all clumped together and undercooked so super firm/chewy. We also tried the summer rolls and the crab rangoons. It was very quick from ordering and being brought to the table. Only thing I would've preferred is for the sauce to pack more of a punch flavor wise. I got the "Create your own" type option and with that being said it's probably on me that I didn't like it that much. I did find the chow fun noodles I chose to be a bit gummy. On the other hand my son got the Sesame Chicken and that was quite good. It was nice, soft and flavorful. However, the fried rice wasn't the greatest. It was a huge serving with very fresh tasty vegetables and a generous portion of tofu and brown rice. I had plenty to take home for another meal. My hubby got the sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. There again, a generous serving with enough for another meal. He said the chicken was definitely from a frozen bag (his opinion), but the veggies were fresh. He said the pineapple chunks didn't really have a pineapple flavor but were good. We did have appetizers, too. I had the veggie spring rolls (2) , one was cooked well, and the second one needed a little more cook time. Hubby had the pork egg roll (1) and said it was tasty. He had the custom bowl with fried rice, double chicken, teriyaki and broccoli and we had the custom bowl with the fun chow noodles, double chicken, teriyaki, broccoli and added egg. The wait was reasonable took about 10-12 mins and the second visit about 5-7 mins and each time the food was piping hot and fresh and still had ample heat to dive right in after making it home to Georgetown without rewarming it. They didn't skimp on any of the ingredients, flavors were on point. After eating there twice I completely understand why he's a regular and probably will be myself now. read more

Thai chilli sauce was okay, I would order Lemongrass basil sauce again. The interior was tastefully decorated and plenty of seating was available. Two suggestions - The spice 3 on 3 wasn't spicy. I would suggest adjusting the spice levels. And the veggies felt more like boiled than stir fried. I would suggest frying the ingredients even more. read more

I thought this place was pretty good! I eat Keto and appreciated they veggies and meat. All of the bowls come with rice or noodles as a base and I just opted for none. I got Thai chicken which was supposed to be their spiciest but it wasn't. The spicy mustard and sriracha fixed that up! My husband and kids thought theirs were pretty good also. The small soup bowl was quite large and my 4 year old enjoyed it. The food came out fast and it was fresh. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place seeing its next to our favorite ice cream spot. (So hint hint go next door for dessert after eating here, it will make a good dinner even better with a really good dessert.) Anywhere, came in and the service was very pleasant and upbeat. Interesting fact... you can actually order your meal from your table because their is a barcode there at your table and each table is naked with its own number. So on to the meal... My wife got us an appetizer which as edamame which was pretty good. Lol she asked me how'd it taste compared to her making it at home.... I'm that honest type of husband and told her I'd eat this over ant of her vegetable she makes. My wife got coconut curry chicken and she really like it. She said it had a sweet taste and she's definitely recommending you try it. I had the sesame chicken and that was pretty good too. Seeing that we are new to Texas this is only the third spot I've tried Chinese food at and so far their sesame chicken is the best. The fried rice was pretty decent. I'm a saucy guy so had I had more sauce from the chicken on my rice that would have made it better for me, but it's not enough of a issue for me to complain or knock the meal at all. The quest for Halloween candy brought me back to Fire Bowl Cafe which I haven't visited in years. I vaguely remember the last visit, but I then remembered as a went down the sequence. The sequence consists of a protein, vegetables, sauce and ends with a choice of rice. I then chose chicken, spring vegetables, Kung pao sauce and fried rice. My dish was pretty because the vegetable mix was fresh and the Kung pao flavor was pretty flavorful. However, there simplified menu takes away from most of rye signature dishes because my dish didn't have peanuts. Also, the portion size was lacking.
