I must have shown up at a bad time this Saturday morning because they were definitely under staffed. There was 1 server and no host at all. Still, the service wasn't bad. And by the time I left they were fully staffed. It is IHOP. Food was consistent with what I expected. My only complaint was the fun sized coffee which cost $3.99. I literally had one of those very small cups full. But even if I had had more, it wouldn't have been worth it to me. Lesson learned read more

I came with a few of my friends after bike week on our way home. We have been here in the past after bike week too. Always a great experience. Donna and Kasey are always working and get everything done with great efficiency. I get the big steak omelet and pancakes and it never disappoints. They're always clean and the food is delicious. Looks nothing like the picture, no help from the waitress. Asked for one egg (that was way over cooked) and toast. Ended up with the 55+ breakfast sampler $8.99. Came with no drink, coffee was $3.99 a cup. Exchanged the pancake for thin hard dried Toast and sausage for Bacon. Took home the very small portion of hash browns, ham, 2 small pieces of fatty bacon, and 1/4 slice of thin ham. My husband got the sunrise 55+ breakfast $9.99 +$3.99 for his coffee. Received 2 overcooked eggs, 1 slice of multi-grain bread, hash-browns. The restuarant was clean, and the service was fast. For $25.00 + tip we will not be back. read more

I just encountered one of the most incompetent servers I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Imagine a nearly empty restaurant--just four tables occupied--and still managing to botch the entire experience. Our server took our order directly into the POS system, so you'd think that would reduce room for error, right? Wrong. Orders were messed up left and right, mine needed to be refired, and after waiting a full 30 minutes, I was still staring at an empty plate. The real kicker? This server had the audacity to try to charge me for food that never even made it to the table! When I asked for the manager on duty, I was told there wasn't one. IHOP, are you running a restaurant or a circus? How does a place like this operate without anyone steering the ship? I just ordered a Uber Eats from here. I asked for chicken tenders and honey mustard. Instead of my honey mustard I get 10 packs of ketchup that I will not use because I cannot eat ketchup. My notes were ignored and so was my sauce of choice. This is why I usually pick my food up because it's ALWAYS something but unfortunately I can't leave when I'm at work. Thanks for making my lunch un memorable and thanks for helping me decide on whether to give another chance. I've worked fast food and large kitchens for 8 years. Bags should be checked. Food and service was as expected of a typical iHop visit. The entire restaurant was empty except for a single woman who appeared to be leaving soon. The only reason I am taking off a star is because the employees were talking bad about a previous customer and co-workers the entire time while in areas of the restaurant that all of the current customers could hear every word. If I could leave NEGATIVE 5 statrs, I would. Horrible, Horrible experience. My wife and I drove to Daytona Beach from Marco Island FL on Monday night on 12/15/25. We arrived at 6:30 am on Tuesday morning after driving straight through. We were tired and hungry and went straight to the IHOP on Bill France Blvd, across from the Daytona Speedway. We had eaten there many times before and never had an issue. When we went in, there were no customers inside at all, with the exception of 3 teenagers waiting for a takeout order. We waited patiently for the hostess for over 20 minutes while the hostess ignored us, laughing and chatting noisily with the 3 teens. After waiting for over 20 minutes, my wife asked the hostess if we could seat ourselves. No Maam, she snapped back in a very rude manner. We were taken aback by her nasty response, but we waited another 15 or twenty minutes. I could not believe how rude, and discourteous she was. At that point, my wife and I walked out and drove to another IHOP where the hostess was friendly, polite, and seated us immediately. This young girl's behavior was more suitable to a high school locker room, than a business that caters to people. She really needs to learn how to do her job. We will never go back to that restaurant. I hope management reads this and straightens her out. This is no way to treat people, particularly seniors. read more

I did an online order and orderes pancakes with my meal. I got my order and i would not believe my pancakes were still a little warm but they were hard as rock. Spent $50 on something I couldnt even eat. What a rip off!! read more

I've been to a lot of IHOP restaurants in my time and this one rants pretty high up there. Definitely one of the best. As many trips as we take to Orlando, I have no clue why we just got around to stopping at this one in Daytona and having breakfast. I can't remember the address, but it's actually off of Daytona International Speedway Drive. It just has a different address because of the side street. If you're coming from I-95, it's just past the Speedway and it's on the left. It's set back from the road a bit in a shopping center, so keep your eyes open for it. Service was absolutely phenomenal! Our waitress was so friendly and on top of everything. My coffee and hubby's soda were constantly filled! She was talkative but not in that annoying way. She knew when it was time to wander away. I like that. The food was really good. I mean, it's IHOP food, but I've had to served to me badly in the past at other IHOP restaurants. It was hot, served correctly, and everything was yummy. We both left with nice, full bellies to start out day at Disney. And the hot chocolate! OMG! It's HUGE! I saw a photo of it and had to have it. Some of the best hot chocolate I've had in my life. Because it was so big, hubby had to share - of course he didn't mind at all! Haha! If you've never had it, definitely try it! You can thank you later! We will absolutely be stopping here for breakfast in the future when on our way from Jacksonville to The Mouse House! read more

Called Twice was listening to the same repetitive singing for 27 mins because no one answers the phone for 2 go orders after 12am to 6am.. Came in the lobby was never greeted until 45 mins later, a guy asked to go or order in & said he will be back to take order never came back. A lady with red house very rude, little to no explanation on why no one answers the phone, had to repeat my order 3 times to her! The IHOP in Daytona Beach is not the greatest. They're always oh wait the food takes a long time to get to you and it's not always the greatest. The IHOP in Ormond Beach on beach side is much better. Ambience is the same as any other IHOP. read more

The server was very friendly. I liked how they had corrugated plastic separating the seating in the restaurant. There were some loud unruly patrons at a table nearby spouting expletives though, so I didn't appreciate that since my not even two year old daughter was with me. Sadly, both myself and my friend became sick after eating here. I had the Belgian waffle combo and they had an omelet. My daughter had the silver five kids meal. I'm not sure if it was the water, since that is the only thing he and I had to drink because my daughter had milk. I woke up ill for a little while, but they were sick all day, the next day. Three stars for an establishment that does NOT know how to handle online ordering along with their in-restaurant customers. Our waitress informed us that they were 30 tickets behind for online orders, so it may be a while before they could get our food out. WHAT?! We waited for about an hour and a half for our food, and it was COLD. At one point, they stopped seating people because the kitchen was so behind. I am usually an IHOP fan. I like the coffee, the service, and the pancakes... but this was not acceptable. I give it 3 stars for the wait time and cold food, but the server ", Sandra, was fantastic and very apologetic, which was its only saving grace. AMAZING! I can not get tired of IHop. The menu has plenty of option for the easy going people as well as for the picky-ones. The service is wonderful, even-though is PACKED... they welcome you with a big smile and service out the charts. Yolanda and Patrick are AMAZING! Well organized and smoothly run, even on a very busy Saturday morning! We stopped in to this crowded spot expecting a long wait for a table. Surprisingly, we were warmly greeted and told that the wait would only be about ten minutes long. Score! Here's what was ordered: a smoked sausage breakfast with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns (with onions and peppers), and Harvest Grain and Nut pancakes, and an all you can eat pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs (with cheddar) and bacon. The food arrived pretty quickly. However, the pancakes were barely warm. And the scrambled eggs that were ordered without cheese came with cheese. Certainly, hot pancakes are preferred. And luckily, I'm not allergic to cheese or dairy and was able to eat the eggs that had the unrequested cheese. People, including us, were returning food back to the kitchen that was not eatable. And, they would still charge you for it! The service is sub-par, at best, as they DO NOT LISTEN to you! Oh IHOP how I've missed you so and I'm so happy that your back in my life again!! The new IHOP location is beautiful inside and outside. Upon approaching the two entrances the doors were opened for us by two employees. We were then promptly greeted by Brittany who immediately sat us at a table of Justin's. She pointed out the specials to us and within a few minutes Justin was there to greet us also. He was very knowledgable about the menu and was personable. The hubs ordered the 2x2x2 which included two eggs, two meats, and two pancakes. I ordered my favorite, the country fried steak and eggs. Both arrived within ten minutes and we were good to go. Slight mishap with the hubs eggs, they weren't cooked correctly but it was immediately rectified. We also spoke with the general manager, JP and we told him about how much we enjoyed our meal and the service that we received from Justin. Overall, we've already decided to go back for sure and we are already talking about our next visit. read more

Ordered off of door dash the jalepeno burger 13$ and change. All the burger came out with was just plain peperjack cheese and cold as ice. It was 3am so I am mad and drive down to the IHOP myself so they can add the onions, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. My burger gets remade and then they say it's not their job to remake the burger and on top of that they are all out of lettuce and all other condiments. You mean to tell me that a restaurant doesn't have lettuce?! My entire order was $60+ and it just infuriates me that I decided to give my business to this lousy location. Set two separate orders up for pickup by 10:05. Get there and it was not ready and was informed by the hostess with... big earrings? Gauges? 5 minutes. 5 minutes later she tells me neither of my orders are ready cuz they don't have anyone to bag it????? Ummmm how about you bag the order???? She wouldn't. Refused. This is literally the 10th or so time that I've had an order not ready and had TERRIBLE customer service at this location. Will never pick up here again. We have had to come to Daytona Beach weekly for work and due to Covid, our hotel does not offer breakfast. We have come to rediscover IHOP. The wait staff is great. Donna, Lacey, Emily, Shelbe and Maxine are warm, welcoming, hard working. When you stop in, all the ladies will treat you well but ask for Donna. Donna is the best. She is knowledgeable, funny and helps get our mornings started off on the right track. We look forward to seeing her when we go. Forget Metro Diner and Cracker Barrel.
