I love this location because of its proximity to the DIS track. The food is always fire, the service is quick (even when its busy), and it's one of the cleaner locations, for sure. If you're lucky, certain NASCAR drivers and their teams will stop here after a race. It's the perfect small town diner vibe in a big city, even though it's a chain. read more

I ordered 3 Burger meals all with extra well done hash browns. My burgers were ordered medium. This was for my wife,son, and myself on the 22nd of March 2026. It was a to go order. When we arrived at the beach we discovered that the burgers were all burnt xxxtra well done. Our hash browns were not even hardly cooked. Mixed raw with partially cooked. I tried multiple attempts to contact the store on W International Speedway Blvd daytona beach. No one comes to the phone, ever. It just hangs up on you. Imagine my surprise when corporate also doesn't have a way to call them. They offer a short complaint form on their website that as of today,no one has responded to me at all. I have never had a problem like this before. I am continuing to put reviews on everything I can to allow consumers the ability to know that if they have a problem with waffle house, they will never get the opportunity to fix the problem.. This Waffle House has a simple direct work ethic. They are friendly and fast. My husband and I had the All American breakfast that came with a waffle. The girls there are always great and the place is clean. The food is the same as every other Waffle House so not much to say about that. If ya need a quick bite to eat there good and prices are cheap. I do have to say that many of the waffle houses that I've been to have nasty people working at them but this one is good. Best Waffle House I've been to ever, and I've been to a lot. Staff was naturally sweet and caring. Helped me figure out best way to serve 6 kids from 7-15. Alicia our waitress had our food out in 5 minutes! Everything was great. Kids cleaned the plates. Being that I was on vacation they helped me find nearest surfboard rental place. I'm not a smart man and off the top of my head I couldn't tell you what gentrification is but maybe stop in to this Waffle House and see if it fits. If you been to any Waffle House I'm sure you thought to yourself how many health violations are being broken. I can guarantee you won't have that issue here this place seems a bit small for an already small restaurant but it's fine. We ordered 1 all star for my boys to share which they enjoyed if you don't know an all star is a waffle, 2 eggs how you want, grits or hash browns, choice of meat and choice of toast. My wife ordered the steak and eggs her steak was cooked medium well as asked and tasted good a little light on the seasoning which was expected. I had a small order of biscuits and gravy and next time I'll consider ordering a larger order. Service was good, food was good would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite if you're in the area. Terrible experience.. sat at dirty table for 10 min before the servers argued over who was gonna clean it. Then they argued very loudly in front of customers over missing tips.. took 20min before we got to order.. Visited the Waffle House on Seabreeze at Daytona Beach. We go there a couple times a month. Today was our worst experience. I ordered scrambled eggs, grits & raisin toast. My grits were served with SEVERAL lumps, one the size of a fresh mushroom, other lumps the size of kidney beans. I believe our server was new. His name was Jeremy. This right here is a five star Waffle House!! Extremely clean and the food was prepared quickly, but what made our experience here so wonderful was the customer service, specifically Lisa's. We could not have asked for a more fun waitress. She cheered me on when I ordered my "smothered and covered" hash-browns and made sure our coffee cups were never empty. This was by far the worst Waffle House I've ever been in. I love Waffle House but this one I will not return to. Everyone who works there is so unprofessional. Our waitress just disappeared, never brought over our drinks. We had to ask another server to at least get our 4 year old her drink. That waitress continued to take care of us because our waitress never even reappeared till we we were about to leave. The food looked sloppy and the restaurant was not clean. Trash all over floor, employees yelling and acting like they were in high school and the teacher walked out. It was a circus. I go to Waffle House a lot. Our waitress was impressed when I ordered in "Waffle House lingo". This was hands down the best experience I've ever had at a Waffle House. We came at 9am on a Sunday, walked in, we were greeted right away. We sat down at a clean table and within 15mins had our food in front of us. Our waitress was the sweetest and never let our drinks go less than halfway empty. I noticed that as soon as someone left, someone else was already cleaning the table. Came in at about 3:30 am on a Sunday, and it was pretty quiet. The first impression was bad the place smelled like a heavy cleaning solution as they were obviously cleaning. However they soon started cooking my food and someone who had called for pickup, so the place started smelling a bit better. My orange juice was very watery, pecan chocolate chip waffles were soggy and also fought and undercooked along the edges. Hash browns with cheese on top were ok, however wish they used grated cheese instead of kraft singles. There were 2 guys who came in and unfortunately had to sit next to me in the bar area. One of them smelled so bad I had to hold my breath the entire time eating. I don't want to be a D bag and say they shouldn't be served because their homeless, I understand they want to eat and as human beings they have that right. However restaurant rules including i'm pretty sure Waffle House rules indicate that someone must have proper hygiene in order to be served. I don't know if the employees could smell them as they were moving around so I won't blame them. Anyways if someone doesn't have proper hygiene they should only be allowed to order to go and wait outside for their food. Anyhow the menu didn't really wow me, so I'll just stick to IHOP for my late night breakfast fix. read more
