Great food our sever was cool and very nice. We were treated excellent here and this made our spring break 1000 times better

So we decided to eat here this morning since we love their food and usually never have any issues. It was only 2 of us and we both ordered omelettes. One of them was a build your own and the other one was not. Keep in mind we both had waters to drink. Our waiter added up the bill wrong and it was 42$ just for 2 people. We wanted to talk to the manager but the manager didn't even want to hear what we had to say and was siding with the waiter. Both we're rude and handled the situation poorly. In the end, they said we we're wrong and had zero urge to correct the bill. We will definitely not be coming back to this ihop after this. Bad management skills and rude employees made it a bad experience for us. read more

This was the nicest IHOP I have ever been too, guess that is probably due to how new it is. We ordered a omelet, pancakes, breakfast, sandwich and some iced coffee. Highlights: Our waitress was very nice and on top of our needs. She made my girlfriend a breakfast sandwich that wasn't on the menu and offered us iced coffees to go at the end of meal. The restaurant was busy and still appear to be very clean. Lowlights: There was just two mistakes that were made but not a big deal. 1 they forgot decide jalapeno pepper that comes with my omelette. Second thing really was kind of funny, they put a pancake under our sandwich by accident. Really not sure how that happened in the kitchen and the waitress could not think how they would have done that either. Actually give us a little laugh. All of the IHOP's I've been always have the same quality of food. Everything is pre-cooked, boxed or canned, there's not much room to mess up. What makes the experience different and more enjoyable are the waitresses. I've only been here a few times and it was always with my BFF. But each time was memorable. First time here we got a tall skinny blonde girl that seemed to be the only waitress on the floor. I could tell she was heavily over worked, but she was still pleasant and made no mistakes with our orders. Her right arm had a cloth-like bandage covering it. I could see on her hand that she had some sort of scar or burn. One could only assumed it covered her arm, thus the bandage. I'm sure there's an incredible story to it. What I like to think happened to her was that she was working on a secret experiment in an underground lab. As she was perfecting her work, a group of government agents exploded through the doors and wrecked the place. During the struggle, a beaker of acid shattered on her arm. She was able to escape but she had to keep a low profile. Which is why she got a job at IHOP in Daytona Beach. No one important will ever find her. Second trip here we got another blonde waitress. This one was your typical cheerleader type. She was a bit too friendly. I actually think she was trying to get a threesome going with my buddy and I. She kept asking "Is there anything extra I can do for you" and "You want anything in the back before while I charge your card?" Small innuendos like that. I didn't take her up on any of the offers, but I was definitely considering them. My latest trip is when we got to see the scientist again. I finally asked her what the deal with the arm was. She started to tell me "I use to work in this lab by th... oh, I mean.... I burnt my self cooking." The rest of the night she zoomed by us to avoid any further conversation. New building is great and its nice to have someplace always open. Food? Its just ok. But im not running back anytime soon. I ordered omelet made with egg beaters, and mushrooms. No cheese. So imagine my surprise when I get an omelet covered in cheese sauce. It was take out so whatever. Way too much unnecessary packaging for takeout. My hashbrowns were in one container and omelet in another. Both could have easily fit in one container without having to have both said containers in a plastic bag. What can I say, waste seems to be the American say. Every time I ask for less packaging people dont get it, so go with the flow. read more

One star for the food. The service was HORRIBLE. our server was without a doubt out of it. Was he hung over, was he high the world may never know. We waited 15 min for drinks for him to come back and tell us he forgot our drink order. He then forgot the coffee for another 15 min. Dropped someone's pancakes, the table behind us also didn't receive their drinks for a long period of time. When he finally brought the coffee he forgot the mug, brought 4 mugs when we only asked for one, two of which had lipstick. Once we told him he just left them on our table. What an experience. Oh and not to mention he hit a customer in the head with a side of pancakes. I will not lie that was hilarious . I wish I could make this up! read more

This is a decent IHOP across from Daytona Speedway and the Daytona Airport. It is clean throughout. Access and parking was very easy. A few benches on the inside to accommodate those waiting. We got the timing right and missed an early rush/exit and only had to wait a few minutes for them to clear a table. The hostess was very nice and our server (Valerie/Veronica - from San Diego via Loris, SC) was outstanding. She was super friendly and cheerful which is great first thing in the morning! She took care of us efficiently and checked back often and when we were done wished us safe travels and hoped we had a nice visit. I would recommend this IHOP over the one on A1A. read more

So I went here with my son to eat a late breakfast. It was fairly busy but I was seared right away. The issue is I say there for 10 minutes without one person helping me. Finally I stopped a server nearby and asked for a manager because even the host was missing. Apparently the manager was too busy to help me as well. The server I stopped took my order and eventually I got my food. Everything was ok except my pancakes were cold. Our server was really nice and checked on us constantly to make sure everything was okay. The service was run pretty smoothly and quickly and the food and check came out promptly. The food was overall good, but not great. They can simply work on presentation and seasoning a bit better, but this can be understandable that they are very busy with the morning rush. Brand new IHOP, and back on ISB where they've been missed. Glad I don't have to go all the way to beach side anymore to hit them up. I've been a few times. They always seems to be half full at their slowest times. The service has always been quick and friendly. As for the food, it's good old classic IHOP fare. If you're expecting something else, like some reviewers, yeah you'll be disappointed. But for classic American diner eats, this place does well and I've been happy every time. The only bad thing about this IHOP is their location to the tourist corridor and they're super busy on the weekend mornings. This is a good thing in a way, they shouldn't be going anywhere soon. read more

Please disregard the image attached to the #Check-In yesterday from this location, I did not take it, nor did I attach it. My wife had a delightful meal, double BLT and some of the most amazing looking onion rings. Happy wife, happy life, then I have my delivered. I ordered Country fried steak and eggs, comes with hash browns and cakes. I upgraded the cakes to the red velvet ones, on the the table tent ad. They looked delish, so what to heck, Ill take 'em!. So, up to now, all was good, I asked to hold the cakes till I finished my steak n eggs. Now, to note here, I have already let two significant mishaps, go unreported. The hashbrowns portion was less than half of what it should have been, and I needed a lot more gravy, not near enough to even get some on every bite. But, I muddled thru it,. because, it all did taste good, and wifey was happy. Ok, so after a lengthy wait, the server stops by and asks if I am ready fro the cakes, Yessum, I reply. Off she goes. Comes back out of the kitchen with a plate of plain cakes, looks up at me, realizes she made a boo-boo and turned around and when back. She returns and says, "Sorry, there is something wrong with the grill, They are working on it, only be a few minutes." It could not have been more clearly a lie. SHAME ON YOU!! I would have GLADLY taken the plain cakes, just to go home, at that point. Anyway, so the lil guy manager, stops by, sees the plates of nasty cakes. Asks, "So how was everything?" I explain to him, that the cakes weren't cooked well, and pointed to the batter puddle, the wife found, in the middle. And then put the table add next to the plate and asked" What part of this, looks like that?" Anyway... so he takes off the upgrade fee, and tells us have a nice day. Yea, I never got my cakes, and he was indeed a poor example of customer service. I will continue to visit IHOP, just never that one, ever again...... read more

If I could vote 0 stars I would. Have been to this ihop twice, both times. .. waitress never brought lemons for water after requesting. Coffee was cold, and food was caked on the "clean" silverware! The server dissappeared after she took our order and didn't come back for 15 minutes .... I brought it to the managers attention, letting him know I think it is a training issue and he argued with me that all the staff is trained regularly. Whatever the reason, I will not be back to this ihop. read more

I ordered an omelette with sour cream on the side and pancakes. The pancakes were completely cold. The sour cream was half liquid. The OJ was so watered down I could almost see through it. I would've brought all this to our server's attention, but she never came back to the table once after the food arrived, until we were finished forcing it down. Never again. read more

It had been a long time since visiting an IHOP, so I was surprised and impressed by the updated decor and the warm greeting. The menu is expansive and the prices are reasonable. I had a delicious breakfast with something old and something new: lingonberry crepes with eggs and bacon. It was all delicious and the service was exceptional. Love having the carafe of coffee on the table, just wish it was more robust. I'll check it out again. read more

In my opinion, this restaurant lacks good management and seems disoriented and untrained. It was terrible I felt. They screwed up my order and didn't appear to care. I had to ask for silverware and even straws until I finally gave up and reached over and got some from another table. Omelette cheese was ice cold and made wrong and sitting on top. Toast was made into garlic toast and then I had to argue over it all or so it felt. I was told they don't have a toaster and sometimes toast is raw on one side. What!!! They it took it back and magically they must have bought a toaster as it came out done correctly. Management knew of my dissatisfaction but made me feel like I was just trying to cause issues and wanted me out of there. I apologize for causing them to redo my food but I think if you are paying, you should have your order be correct and not cold. read more

I've been here twice now and both times were horrible; once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both times we had omelets and pancakes. Both times the wait staff was terrible but last night was the worst. There was a man who walked in to the restaurant and literally just started walking around. We'll just say that he was dressed in such a way that made me feel unsafe. We were sitting next to the kitchen in the front of the resturant, right where he felt like standing. 5 mins later he thinks it's a great idea to walk over to the kitchen and yell into it '' YO I wanna make a order. Come on!'' No host, no waitress, no one was around. He gets on his phone and starts cursing about being at iHop and having to wait. He goes to stand at the front desk to wait for someone. Our waitress helps him, acting all friendly and whatnot towards him meanwhile we're still waiting for water. While he waits for his food (20 whole mins) he's pacing back and forth between our table and the front desk without a single word from any worker to keep him out of the dining section. At first I was scared but then I was just pissed the hell off that this was even allowed. I dont care who you are, disturbing guests is never ok... WTF iHOP?!? Our food didnt take very long to be cooked. My omelet was very over cooked and tiny. My husbands omelet was much bigger, even though we ordered the same one. Meanwhile the pancakes werent cooked through, the middle was still raw batter. Our waitress never came over to ask if things were ok. She also didnt get a tip that night. Consistant food quality with all of the other ihop chans I have been to. We went on a Sunday morning and they were understandably busy. We were told the wait would be 15 minutes but we only waited about 5. The waitress warned us that the kitchen was backed up and the food would take a little longer as a result. Very slow service, an inedibly dry omelet (how do you screw up breakfast??) and a manager who, even though he saw me return the uneaten omelet and refuse a replacement, offered a whopping 10% off my check. Managers are working a position in back as they are not in dining room greeting tables. I hope thier corporate offices allow more labor to be spent on building sales . Got sat, ordered drinks and food, both of the employees walked by our table numerous times never checked on us, got our drinks, 15 minutes went by with empty glasses, and they were still walking past the table, our food was sitting on the counter for a good 5 minutes. The eggs were burned on both sides. My pancakes looked like they had been run over. Her pancakes didn't have cheesecake in them like she ordered. When we complained to Yolanda she brought my pancakes back out and tried to pass them off as hers and show us the cheesecake bites. We know they were t hers because she had picked hers apart looking for cheesecake. The manager, Jeff is supposedly the one who cooked them and according to Yolanda he said he put them in there.
