This place isn't worth a damn after 6pm. It's almost as if it's a whole new McDonald's in a totally different city. After 6pm the food is always cold, the fries are half filled and something is ALWAYS missing. Night Manger is so nice? This is my go to McDonald's in the New Smyrna area. It's a quick trip off the highway or state road 44. The drive through line is always quick and efficient. The staff treat you kindly. What more could you ask for? Plus, they make a mean cup of Joe aka the only thing I ever order. But I'm sure everything else is fabulous too! read more

This location is on the complete opposite end of town from where I live, however I pass this location many times when I'm out and about weekly. As one reviewer shared its location is in front of Walmart and sits along side a Pop-eyes (maybe the worst in existence but that's another review). After traveling quite a bit in the hot Florida sunshine I decided to drop in to grab a drink at the drive-through, this is not only convenient it conforms with the CDC recommendations during this Covid-19 crisis for social distancing, although the convenient stores are open do you really want to grab a dirty door handle on entry, a cooler door handle, etc, etc. or would you rather stay inside your vehicle in your own filth and minimize your contact with the outsiders. I think this crisis is resetting some of the practices we seemed to have lost over time or simply never communicated down clearly like washing our hands or handling our food safely. I noticed a few things here that really made me smile - a cheery happy voice at the drive-thru, a very appreciative employee working the window thanking the customers for supporting this restaurant and keep them working, a concerted effort to handle my order with care and respect - it seems this management team gets it. I think these are the places we need to support and it's also an opportunity and our responsibility to call those out that don't comply or respect our health concerns. This McDonald's is in a plaza with a Walmart and a Popeye's Chicken. I chose this location as it's an easy off and on 95 South. We needed a quick bite after the Daytona 500 and this exit doesn't have a lot of businesses (like Port Orange one exit north), so we figured it wouldn't be busy. We were right and were able to order and get our food quickly so we could get back home at a decent hour. Food was tasty, prepared correctly, and done in an efficient manner. The girl at the counter was friendly and it was a no fuss experience. The food tasted a lot like the McDonald's by the house. Imagine that! read more

I come in here to redeem points for a mocha frappe. That's the only thing I'm getting. Shouldn't take that long right? Wrong. Took like 15 minutes to get and they very clearly didn't care how it came out. It's more of a freaking slushy than a frappe. And the lady that made it literally said "ohh it's a "little thicker" but that's ok. But I'm sure if it was her that was getting this it would be completely unsatisfactory. Writing a review for McDonalds seems like a nonsense thing to do... after all, they are world-wide famous for consistent fast food in every restaurant. So why then take the time? Well, I am glad you asked! We stopped in this location on our way to the beach to grab breakfast. We got there and the drive through line was loooooong, so we decided to park and go in to order our food. To our surprise, this location is ONLY operating on drive through and the doors to the restaurant are closed. So back to the car the 4 of us went! I am not sure why you can't go in and order -especially since the Mc Donalds location 11 minutes east of this one is open for order in AND drive through- but we found that annoying. Anyway, we got in the loooooong line, got our breakfast and on we went. Food was predictably consistent. The team at the restaurant was very good and fast taking the order (not "Chick-a-filet" good and fast but fast enough). I wish we'd known that the other location was open for order in, but now we know. I think we'll pick the other location on our next trip to the beach! read more

So I get that fast food is a really tough industry to work in nowadays it's still no reason to treat people so disrespectful I went into simply place an order I said hello she ignored me at the register I placed my order after she said what do you want. I ended up leaving and calling the manager to get a refund in which they would not do over the phone so I had to go to my credit card company reverse the charges. Waste of a stop & $$ Usually stop at McDonalds drive through for quick coffee while on the road. We ordered three biscuits, hash browns & coffees. After requesting Splenda & then confirming it was in the bag at the window, I realized they had given me sugar. I had to run inside for Splenda which was behind the counter, resulting in me having to stand in line again. After all that, our coffees were too cold to enjoy :( read more

This is our go to stop after hitting the beach. One of the items we ordered was a hamburger. Took one half of bun off to eat and it looked like a bite was eaten out of the hamburger patty. I understand there was a potential that wasn't what happened, but it was in my mind and I couldn't eat it. Went back to the store and took it in and showed a manager, young girl blond hair. I explained I opened up the bun and it looks like a bite was taken out. She looked at me like I was crazy. I told her I get it probably didn't happen but quality control it shouldn't have gone out that way, because the idea is there. She asked if I wanted them to remake it. She went back and asked them to make another one, and said something else I couldn't hear. The manager was very rude and not customer friendly at all. I was genuinely not being rude. McDonald's seem to be the same no matter where you go. For breakfast we ordered a few sandwiches, which were fine and as ordered. However, we ordered 3 different coffees, all with NO sugar, and all 3 contained a lot of sugar. We realized after we already got back on the highway so I have no idea if they would have corrected the coffees or had any attitude in regards to it. Went McDonald on May 8, 2021 for Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The chicken tasted like it had been in the warming oven for way too long. The bun was terrible. McDonalds should stop selling the sandwiches until the get the quality problems fixed. It was in a word horrible. read more

After waiting 20 min they said that using the computer ordering means they start everything from scratch. I ordered a tomato. It was missing. I ordered leaf lettuce. It was limp as a rag.
