Went here with the family recently and it was disappointing. It was not busy and it was over staffed for the entire time we were there. Why then was my stack of pancakes and hash-browns COLD when I received them? My corn beef hash was barely warm and I had to send everything back to be reheated. The waitress was very nice but the kitchen must have been 1/2 asleep. The food is okay and a good quick bite to eat. My okay food was ruined by the service. Someone I knew worked here and said that the owner got mad at her and threw stuff at her. Ahh, "IHOP CHURCH." That's what we have begun to call it. This place is literally church to my family. Every Sunday, religiously, we're there for breakfast and brunch before moving on to Target and Guitar Center. That may seem like a lame family ritual to you, but if you ever witness a group of four people inexplicably laughing so hard they're crying over their pancakes, that's probably us. Yes, there is a wait on Sundays. But the difference between this IHOP and other IHOPs, or any breakfast place on a Sunday morning for that matter, is that these guys are PROS. A 20 minute wait is really all we've ever experienced here, even at its busiest, even on Mother's Day and Father's Day. It runs like a well-oiled machine. And yet, the servers NEVER make you feel rushed or push you out the door. I don't know how they do it. Divine intervention? Just kidding. I should stop with the sacrilege. The hostess was rude and telling people to wait without any timeline of how long the wait would be. Got seated and the floors were disgusting dirty. Not swept at all. The cofffee container looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months, the syrup containers wouldn't poor and there was a hair on one of them. This IHOP always has friendly service and nice presentation. They also have a (55+) senior discount program on Monday through Thursday at dinner: Buy 2 beverages and two entree items over $7, get the lesser one for free. Even without coupons or specials, the prices are down to earth. And there are endless refills on the coffee. Having a "palate from another planet" (the typical amount of sugar added so many deserts and other foods is usually way too sweet for me), there's a limit to what I order in an IHOP. Once I ordered a salad and it was drowning in so much cloyingly sweet dressing that it was inedible, despite the freshness of the other ingredients. (So much for trying a "healthy" option.) Almost any topping or filling for pancakes, french toast, waffles, or sweet filled crepes is off the scale for my tolerance for sugar. Bingo, though, for the crepes on their own, or filled with the savory option, chicken Florentine. They are really, really good! Two crepes are filled with nicely grilled pieces of chicken, fresh spinach, onions, and mushrooms, then topped with a big splash of lemony "hollandaise," which is also tasty. They are huge! One for the restaurant - and one comes home in a box. Yeah, quirky me, who only likes a little bit of sauce, and likes to dip my forkfuls in it, asks for it on the side rather than the top :) That's my "go to" dish here, and meanwhile my sweet-toothed husband can glory in the whipped cream and toppings to his heart's content. Portions are of most items are quite hearty (enough to take half home or share). I was blown away by the excellent service I received when I was here over the weekend. It was a Sunday morning and the wait was rather short. We waited 10 minutes for a seat, even though were were given a wait time of 15-20 minutes. When we were seated, the waitress came to take pour drink order and brought the drinks out quickly. Extremely attentive service and the food came out 5 minutes after we ordered. Everything was cooked perfectly, and we were in and out within 45 minutes. They bring a fairly large pot to your table so you have an ample supply for the duration. My husband had the pancake combo with sausage, eggs and hash browns. The meal was very good; hash browns nice and crispy. I would be surprised if IHOP would screw up a breakfast plate. I had the pancakes... 10 of them to be exact. They were as good as any of our local diners serve. Fluffy and not under cooked. Served with sugar free syrup as requested. I was stuffed when we left so... mission accomplished. Service was fine. Our family found this place close to our roadtrip stopover hotel and although had the misfortune to visit on a Sunday just before noon, we had a good experience. They happened to have their "all-you-can-eat" pancake specials so we ordered that and finished about 5 pancakes each on top of our eggs, greasy salty delicious breakfast proteins (I special requested and received 2 ham/2 bacon/2 links) and mountains of hash browns. The "over medium" eggs came out over easy but the hostess was extremely efficient in supplying fresh iced teas and pancakes and our requests for ketchup and Cholula. We tipped generously. The manager was fast at getting the line at the door moving although they forgot to get us our high chair and I had to point out that they almost forgot to seat us (having crossed us off prematurely when they sat a belated earlier table). This place is pretty good! I've gone here since I was a little kid, and I like that they've kept the recipes pretty consistent throughout the years. The pancakes are great, the eggs are amazing, and it's all pretty cheap to get. I love going here with some of my friends because of how low the bill always comes out to be! Not to mention, most of the staff here are so nice to the customers. I hope the servers get paid a lot (I know they probably don't, since they are waiters, but still!) because they deserve it! There is only one thing I wish they had: I kinda wish they had some more low-calorie things to eat. Most of the food there can easily surpass 1000 calories per dish, and the dishes that are low-calorie are pretty scarce to find in the menu. Was there just last night with my 2 children and male companion and now I'm in the ER because my son can't keep anything down on his stomach. My male companion was up all night last night because of his stomach. I will not go to this particular location ever again and my family is aware. I called and of course the manager tried to downplay what happened explaining what the temperature is of the food cooked... The staff is usually attentive I went last night and the waitress walked by a couple times, to get us refills, but not to an intrusive degree. My only complaint about this place was that they only take their own coupons that they make and not any of the IHOP coupons that come in the Sunday paper. As much as I love local small restaurants and trying new places, coming back to IHOP is always a good experience. The service can be spotty but the breakfast food is always consistently good. I don't know what they put in their pancakes (nor do I want to know) but they taste amazing. Today we had the strawberry and bananas pancakes and the red velvet pancakes - both were delicious. I wish there were more local breakfast places worth a second visit in bucks county but there just aren't. So we return happily to IHOP! read more

Hello john here.. I went to ihop on 6-30-2015 at 100pm after a long absence. You never know what you're going to get at this place. It can be very good and then it can be very bad however they are never consistent with the good. I don't expect fine dining at ihop,but I do expect hot food and a competent waiter/waitress. The last experience was just ok pancakes were hot,but the coffee was lukewarm.I will return maybe once or twice to see if things have gotten better and leave a more specific detailed review. read more
