Bugs flying around me at the table at 9PM like I'm sitting outside. Table sticky. Plates and utensils had finger prints on them. I'm the only person in the store and my plates and drinks are still here. You can see I have had three drinks brought to me withou being removed. EVERYTHING is dirty and the place is humid, which adds to the unpleasantness. The food was not bad, and the salad (minus hand prints all over the bowl) was plentiful and good. read more

The service and the food were good .. But there were little bugs crawling on our table. The silverware was dirty, and the bathroom was gross . I used the ladies room before eating, it stunk so bad of a Sewer smell I almost lost my appetite !! Granted most buildings in this area are "dated" but that smell was Nasty!! Maybe they should invest in a Glade Plug in or similar !! read more

I usually enjoy IHOP but the food today was just mediocre. Wasn't very hot. Bacon was soggy. And the crepe I ordered didn't look anything like the crepe advertised. I have pics to show the difference. It won't be the last time o visit IHOP but maybe just not this location. read more

This was my second time eating at this IHOP, once maybe three to four years ago, but to make a long story short, for the second time I caught hell in getting to a place that you can see from all around, in plain sight, no matter what corner you turn, what street you go down, you find yourself blocked in. When you finally get on a street that you think will get you to IHOP, it's a no go, so I use my GPS to get their, it take you back around thru a roundabout and back to HWY 49 N to IHOP, the turn is almost hidden, so you end up in Arby's back parking lot, at that time you're ready to eat, so ok Arbys parking lot is empty at time of morning, finally breakfast, upon check out I was told I could have been towed. I stood at the door for 15 minutes. During that time three different employees asked me how many to be seated. The third person to ask me this same question opened with how they only had four servers and that they were swamped thanks for your patients. Looking around while standing there I noticed that there were not that many people being served, maybe four tables were occupied. There was food lined up all the way across the counter waiting for delivery to the tables that was there the entire time I was standing there. Can you say cold breakfast food? Yuk. I also noticed while standing there the servers seemed to be confused about who was going to do what hence the reason I was asked the same question three times. By the time the third person asked me the same question I realized there was no chance of getting my lunch anywhere near the hour that I have before I need to go back to work. I answered the question by very nicely stating "I have been standing here for 15 minutes and you are the third person to ask me the same question". She mumbled something like "I'm not doing this" and walked away without helping anyone. At that point I walked out. The building seems old and in need of repairs. Pre pandemic I would have given them a 4, the food was good and service was good. Pandemic review, I only saw one staff member properly wearing her mask properly, and she had on a red shirt, possibly the manager. All other either wore the mask over their mouths only or under their chin! Even the cooks in the kitchen did not wear their mask properly. We were leaving town that morning but I will never go back. Shame on that manager. There are signs on the door you must wear a mask, but the employees do not! read more

Ordered curb side so I didn't have to bring a mask, waited for 10 min then called and while on the phone one person refused to bring out the order to me saying I must come inside. Hasn't been too bad. I've had several younger waitresses that are spot on with their service. My 1 year old daughter was slightly agitated one day and the waitress brought her an applesauce pack and then gave us one for the road without any prompting from us. There is an older waitressthat is nice but super slow and never brings me a water with my coffee although I repeatedly ask. I usually have to ask another waitress and cringe when we get sat in her section. This is one of the few IHOPs I've been to without wifi available... But, the food has been very good so far. I haven't noticed any odd smells or any bugs as mentioned previously. read more

Ate here for the first time came with family. We were seated before another group. Placed our order and didn't receive it until 35 minutes later. The other group got there food ate and left. If I could give them zero stars, I would. IHOP in Gulfport, MS is nothing short of absolutely disgusting. The workers, the place, the food, everything. They were "out of silverware" in which we got plastic forks that were already broken. I'm assuming they were out of garbage bags as well, because there was nothing but trash ALL over the floor. Our so-called waitress, Tasha, blamed the silverware situation on how slow their dishwasher guy was and how busy they were today. Where?!! There was only one or two other tables being used. All the workers were cursing the entire time and looked like they just finished dumpster diving. I went to the bathroom and I'm not going to go into much detail because it's awful, but it needs desperate cleaning. There was this brownish liquid dripping down the wall right next to the toilet. My husband and I were visiting Mississippi for vacation and we stopped by IHOP to eat before we went back and this IHOP did a SPECTACULAR job! Thumbs up all the way!! The service was less than adequate to say the least. Our server dropped my meal on the floor (chicken fried steak and gravy) she left it right there on the floor by our table and didn't clean it up. She left the eggs and hashbrowns and went to have the cook remake the CFS. So by the time the CFS was brought to the table the eggs and hashbrowns were cold. She then once the new meal came cleaned up the CFS off the floor. NO, the restaurant wasn't busy we were her only table. Do NOT eat here..just keep driving! read more

This was the first time in my life every single aspect of a meal was a failure. Typically bad food or bad service happens but everything was terrible. I arrived at 7:45 on a Wednesday night. After waiting 15 minutes to be seated, I noticed people were only being seated in one half of the restaurant and there were 2 waitresses and one cook. After 5-10 minutes our order was taken. Our appetizers arrived at 820 but our full order didn't arrive until 845. When our orders arrived, they were incorrect. I went to ihop earlier tonight, it was busy bc it was the free pancake night, i had about a 15 minute wait, fine, FINALLY get seated and we're waiting, waiting, waiting,...looked over the menu, waited, waited, FINALLY, decided to leave. On the way out, i stopped to tell the manager about what happened. He was like, "yes ma'am, yes ma'am," all while never looking up and grabbing menus and walked away to seat someone. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Anyways, i called about 20 minutes ago and asked to speak to the manager, it was him, MARK WEISNER. I said, "yes, i was up there earlier and the customer service was-----"he instantly cuts me off with, "MA'AM, UHH, I GAVE YOU 2 FREE MEALS! WHAT ELSE, I MEAN YOU HAD 2 FREE MEALS!" so, i cut him back off and say, "hmm no sir! No sir!! You have THE WRONG PERSON, and evidently if you had someone else complain, the service must've been bad all night....HE HANGS UP THE PHONE! i immediately call back and he doesn't answer! I got in my car and drove BACK UP THERE...he now has the phone OFF THE HOOK, BUSY SIGNAL JUST GOING OFF! after he finished with the customers in front of me, who BTW had to come place their order bc they couldnt get through on the line...anyway, he walks away without asking me ANYTHING, so i went behind the counter and i said, "Mark, I just want you to know that you are THE WORST manager EVER, your customer service sucks, i don't know how you got this position and STILL have it and i hope by the end of the week, you dont have a job AND i want you to be able to put a face to the complaint that you're going to get to the corporate office! He sarcastically, starts reading out sayin, "our corporate number is......i cut him off and let him know, i have it already, by this time i had my finger in his face bc i was so pissed off....not surprisingly, ge threatens to call the cops, which i could care less bc i came to tell you to your face what i had to say!
