A three star review is quite shocking but for a holiday trip it could've easily been closer to a 2-star review. Let's start with the service. The actual people working were so freaking nice. They were rockstars. It was the lack of people working that was truly upsetting, especially for a holiday weekend. Breakfast took forever to get seated. Then we came for dinner and there were 100 empty tables but they were super understaffed so we had to wait like 20 minutes. The food was okay. The egg casserole was really good. Would be better if the sausage was mixed in and not just a patty at the bottom. The sausage links were mushy. Not good. Dinner was fine. It was a burger. Hard to mess up. They didn't hit the mark.

We drove all day and night through Alabama and Mississippi, and finally arrived at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino just before midnight. After checking in and getting settled into our reserved Gulf View King Room, we went downstairs to eat dinner at this all-purpose restaurant, and were generally pleased with what we encountered. I began with a fine bowl of French Onion Soup just oozing with cheese, followed by a Chef's Salad with pickled Red Onions, and an excellent, large Chicken Pot Pie packed with vegetables. Diane was pleased with her entree of Penne Alfredo with Shrimp, and service by Brittainy was friendly and attentive. The spacious, well-lit, and airy surroundings were pleasing as well, and prices reasonable for the large food portions we received.

It was quite busy, but we got sat down rather quickly. Wife loved her French onion soup. Fried green tomatoes were ok. Both our sandwiches were very good. Fries were average. Waiters were very attentive and checked on us several times. The atmosphere was kind of loud. There were a few large parties that were making noise. Other than that, it was, a pleasant dining experience.

I visited here with my family and it must've been an off night. Our group of five were told to wait while table was being set, no problem. The issue was when we were told to move from where we were standing by a rude hostess. It wasn't a problem to move but she told us in a very rude tone. She didn't even acknowledge us to begin with and we were being helped by another hostess anyway. The hostess who was originally helping us apologized on her behalf. When we were sat, our waitress came and took our order, she then disappeared. The food took forever to come out. When it did, we were missing part of our order. Come to find out, it was taken to another table. She then disappeared again only to reappear when it was time to pay. She was nice when she was around. But not attentive enough. It wasn't even busy.

So I usually don't like leaving a so so review if I never ate here but this is only for our check in experience. We stopped in to have a breakfast as we were leaving. Left our name and was told we would get a text when a table was ready. It was busy but we were not in a hurry. Waited...waited...waited...did not get a text. Decided to just go somewhere else. Never got a text at all. If we were going to stay we would have went up and asked but the fact we never got a text back was disappointing given the Beau Rivagw standards.

We enjoyed our breakfast. Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. They out asparagus on the plate which normally I wouldn't mind but these were mushy and nasty looking. I mean why include them when they look like that? The omelette was the lazy man's omelette, as in they put the toppings on the egg and then just flipped it. Not a traditional omelette. Service was fine and there was no wait time.

We were short on time and decided to try Salt & Ivy for a quick dinner. While the setting was lovely--modern, clean, and inviting--and the service was friendly, the food unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. We used a myVEGAS reward for a free bowl of gumbo, and that ended up being the best part of the meal. Rich, flavorful, and hearty--it really stood out. My mom ordered the fried green tomatoes, which sounded like a sure win with pimento cheese and bacon on top. But they fell flat--neither the texture nor flavor hit the mark. I had the steak sandwich, which was sadly a miss. The steak was tough, and the whole dish lacked seasoning and flavor. Definitely not something I'd order again. It seems like Salt & Ivy may shine more at breakfast, and we left wishing we'd tried it then instead. While the dinner didn't impress, the atmosphere and attentive service still made for a pleasant stop. Next time, we'll give their morning menu a chance.

We enjoy the window seat and their food is really good! We like to try a variety of things for breakfast and lunch. Definitely worth the wait and price.

They recently remodel this place. I am not sure how long ago. They added new items to the menu. They also have new hours. Please refer to the website for more information. Still the same great experience. They welcome you to a bright pastel colors but very welcoming. They offer electric charging stations in the parking garage. I believe it is on the 3rd floor? It is located in the lobby, just right of check in front desk or left as you walk in main doorway. We had Ashley as our server. She was amazing! She definitely took care of us! We ordered the Cobb salad, cup of seafood gumbo, and the steak sandwich with fries. All were delicious! Ashley recommended the Cobb salad. I did not know it was that big of a salad since was not that hungry. Rounded off the meal with a sangria ( sangria is an alcoholic beverage originating in Spain and Portugal. A punch, sangria traditionally consists of red wine and chopped fruit, often with other ingredients or spirits) drink responsibly. With a side of ice water too. Overall, it is very delicious and full of flavor. I was surprised how big the salad was and go full from it. Ashley thought I did not like it. I told her it was great! Just full since I ate earlier. She was recommended she can pack the salad to go and take the drink out to the casino floor if you wish? Now, if you plan to leave the casino; however, they must put it in a to go container not the glass in the restaurant. Seating is very comfortable. Whether you are in regular seating or the booth. Definitely feel great! They offer fee Wi-Fi and military discount with valid ID. They also have a local restroom in the restaurant too. No reservations required but might be worth it is busy. Be sure to review the new hours and menu items on the website for details on them. If you are in the mood for more casual dining experience and do not want a buffet. Well worth it! In my opinion.

    Lobster and shrimp chowder

This was really good. It was their chowder. They were the only restaurant open when we arrived. They were 30 mins to closing and still sat a lot of people waiting. I want to thank the staff members as I know how frustrating it is when you have a line of people 5 mins before and the managers are still seating people. I commend the managers as well as it takes a lot of patience as well. Thank you all for being patient and going above and beyond to meet the needs of hungry customers.

Award Winning Gumbo - This is what Gumbo is supposed to taste like.

We decided to eat at The Atrium Cafe located in the lobby of the Beau Rivage. We didn't really expect much from a lobby restaurant, but boy were we wrong. We ordered the Gumbo, and having lived on the Gulf of Mexico and New Orleans, we know gumbo. And the Gumbo from The Atrium was maybe the best that I've eaten in years. I told the waiter how good it was, and he informed us that their Gumbo had won a ton of awards. I can believe it. It is worth the drive just for the Gumbo. Special. We also ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it was delicious! The Chicken was soooo good, and the Belgium Waffle fluffy and rich. Truly a huge hit with the entire family. Paired with excellent service, it was a special meal!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I had the Breakfast Burrito - "The One Pounder" with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeños, hash browns, cheddar cheese, (Pico de gallo, green onions, and salsa on the side). I declined the queso and the sour cream. This was, hands down HUGE!! Everything was distributed nicely throughout, but I have to comment on the pico. Being from Texas, I am a bit of a pico snob. Let me tell you, this was homestyle pico +100! It's the bomb!! The jalapeños were diced small, and I definitely tasted a hint of garlic in there. For non-spicy people, one of the things they avoid with jalapeños is that the pieces are too big, and the burn overrides being able to taste the flavor of the food. This was great to add flavor to each bite, without the overbearing quality of the pepper. Amazing, and great. My love had the Tenderloin Tips and Eggs. Her is her review: Eggs (fried) were wonderful, with a hint of sweetness we could not define. Southern style grits buttery and smooth, and the tenderloins seasoned wonderfully and delicious!

We hate crowds more though and some days We just didn't want to rush. We ate here multiple x because it was right in our hotel. Was the food as great as The Toasted Yolk? nope Was it good enough to start a slow morning yep!! The servings are big, the food while nothing fancy is adequate to start your day, the place is not crowded and in a tourist town that's a plus right there. My favorite was just a simple fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Don't forget the Moscato:) The grits were good too!! Hubbie got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my son pancakes. We also ate supper there one night I got the mushroom burger sans bun , my hubbie the catfish platter, and my son the Philly cheesesteak. The waitresses were nice and worked hard. Would I come again yes! Would I make a special trip here no! If you are staying at the Palace though and don't want to traipse to places for breakfast or Supper. Give this place a chance ! But they are a bit anal about you sitting the proper way -saw them get on a guy cause he moved his chair . It's not that serious Stacked . I loved my stay here. So much fun! The room was clean and comfortable. Not a whole lot of bells and whistles, but the bed was comfy, the water pressure was good, and the air conditioning worked well. The casino was great! I loved it. I had a great time playing blackjack at a ten-dollar minimum table, and on my first time trying out roulette, I won $72 dollars. Woo hoo! I paid the $20 fee as a hotel guest to use the spa amenties. They had a fantastic sauna and steam room that I enjoyed greatly, and a comfy little resting room with tea and snacks. I was given a locker, robe, and slippers, and I spent about an hour enjoying. Their pool was a bit chilly for me in April, so I didn't swim, but I'm sure that in warmer weather, it would be great. The gym was superb. I had a 30-minute workout before my spa visit, and I appreciated all the weights, abs balls, cardio equipment, and cold bottled water. I also appreciated that it was easy to change the TV channels (why work out to the news when you can work out to sports or a movie?). We splurged and had a steak dinner at Mignon's, the Palace steakhouse. I must still be alive, because I'm writing this review, but I thought I had died and gone to heaven after eating fried green tomatoes with Gulf shrimp, five-cheese onion soup, and a fillet with creamed spinach. Hospitality was excellent, from check in, to spa, to dealers at the casino, to bell service, to Mignon's, to the staff in the gift shop, to the server at the coffee shop. She made me a darned good caramel latte, too. I loved walking out to the view of the harbor at sunset. It was a windy evening, and the air was cool and smelled like salt. Beautiful. The Palace Casino and Resort gave me a great taste of casino report fun in Biloxi, Mississipi, a town I found to be homey and friendly, a place I'd definitely visit again.

One of the biggest issues is that teenagers are not allowed inside many of the restaurants unless accompanied by an adult, which can be frustrating for families traveling together. Another drawback is that the majority of the dining options are located across the casino floor, making it inconvenient and uncomfortable for guests with children to access them. The casino itself also feels dated, and the décor could use significant modernization to create a more welcoming atmosphere. The buffet was just okay and didn't live up to expectations. For a coastal casino known for its seafood offerings, it was surprising not to find crab legs available. That omission made the buffet feel underwhelming compared to other coastal casino buffets. Overall, the property seems geared primarily toward senior citizens rather than families or younger visitors. If you're looking for a family-oriented casino resort with a more modern feel, you may want to consider other options.
