Not sure how that even happened. My dad was missing his hash-browns and sausage. They gave us bacon instead and wheat instead of white bread. Took another 15 minutes for that to come out. By that time his eggs were cold. I was done with half my food. Just didn't get to enjoy a nice hot breakfast together. Waiter boy never said sorry either, just had a weird smile on his face. It was 2pm in the afternoon, wasn't busy at all. Which is even more mind boggling on why they sucked so bad. The manager voided my dad's meal. Updating my review, I came in during the day this time and the food was much better. NO HAIR IN THE FOOD! The service was slow. I saw other people were obviously frustrated. I wanted to give this a full 4 stars BUT after a few days I checked my bill and I was charged $140 dollars for two kids meals, one French toast meal, and 1 waffle and hash brown. My husband paid and didn't pay attention to the price but this definitely irritated my entire soul. I went to chilis recently and got two full entrees, three kids meals, an appetizer, desert, and two alcoholic beverages for $119. We were definitely over charged and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in a form of an unauthorized tip. read more

Today, after spending countless hours searching for a home, we visited Silverwood in hopes of finding our forever place -- and we think we finally did. Exhausted from the day, we stopped at IHOP for a meal, and we were immediately welcomed by the warmest smile and most energetic server. Her name was Delords and her positivity was truly contagious. Her energy radiated in a way that instantly lifted our spirits. She was exceptionally friendly, kind, compassionate, and attentive. If anything needed adjusting, she was quick and happy to make it right without hesitation. She even offered to take a family photo for us, noticing that we were traveling through the area. If we ever visit an IHOP in Hesperia again after our move, it will definitely be this location -- and we'll be hoping to see Delords. We were highly satisfied with her service. read more

I took my mother in law yesterday 8/13/25 in the morning. Now the food was very good fresh, I'd give that 5 stars and a thank you to the two cooks! My very important complaint is the prices! We ordered from the senior breakfast section we both ordered exactly the same thing. Two coffees, breakfast that was composed of one French toast, two bacons, coffee. Service was okay. Our bill was well over 30.00. I can go to Molly Browns, Skillet Two, etc. and get so much more food for the same or close to the same price and have leftovers. Come on IHop! The cashier said they had promotions I said where are they she said on TV. I'm thinking are you kidding. But she also mentioned there were promotions in the menu, I said where are they, she opened the menu to the dinner menu I said we were having breakfast not dinner crazy! I will say the cashier took one of the breakfast off the bill. I think for most seniors the senior menu is very high priced. Come on IHOP have mercy on the seniors they deserve it! I was at the iHop today and for some reason there seemed to be something off. When my boyfriend and I got to the establishment we weren't greeted for a good 10 mins and the place was close to empty . After we got seated it took another 10 minutes for us to get a drink ordered . The server was nice, but it seems like the kitchen didn't have everything together . I ordered the chicken and pancakes, & my boyfriend ordered the Philly cheesesteak stacker. It took a while for our food to come out (about 20-25 minutes) and when it did, all my pancakes were undercooked and one pancake was the size of a ketchup top . So they brought out a brand new stack and AGAIN, undercooked !!! The Philly cheesesteak was bland and unseasoned . Me and my family have been excited about coming to this place since we saw the start of the construction. However I will say, I am disappointed. The bad: -Stay away from the hot chocolate. $4.95 and waiters/waitresses are instructed to fill up the cup 1/3 of the way and the rest is whip cream. -Be aware, if you order any extra sauces (ranch,thousand island, etc) they will charge you $1.69, you're better off bringing some from home lol. I understand times are tough but dam the sauce. - I don't think the cooks know what medium rare steak means, the first time I sent it back, the second time was well cooked as well. We ended up keeping it because my daughter was hungry already. Yes I understand this isn't a high quality restaurant but dam, it's medium rare. Every restaurant should know to cook that. - Cup sizes have shrunk drastically. Every cup now seems to be a kids size and the kids cup has gotten smaller lol Well now for the good. Because it can't all be bad. - the staff is amazing, attentive and very responsive. Karleigh our server was kind, friendly and answered all our questions. -Place looks clean and it's pretty spacious At the end of it all, I won't be coming back here. We have been looking forward to an Ihop at this location as it is severely underserved. We were seated at 8:30 then waited 15 minutes while two servers discussed who would handle us. The place is new and I'm sure there is some training pains as people learn their stations. We got Julian as our server and he was on top of it. He grabbed us coffee immediately, took our orders and made several tasty suggestions. He quickly overshadowed the previous wait with excellent service. The interior of the building looks fresh and new and the decor is typical of any Ihop location. There are no odd smells but fresh coffee and pancakes being made. I got the sirloin tips and eggs, the wife got the cinnamin crepes and a slice of ham. Portions were appropriate and enough. The only critic of the food was a disagreement between me and the wife over the hashbrowns. I said not crispy enough and she said they were perfect. Not trying to bash the new business in town, but this place was pretty bad. When we first noticed they were fixing up this old building, we were hoping for a Norm's. There's another IHOP near the freeway and it never seems busy. It was my son's birthday and he wanted to try the new restaurant in town. We couldnt talk him out of it. Service was horrible. We were sat near the restroom side, which after an hour, started to smell like sewer. Not the typical bathroom smell, but actual sewer. Luckily we wre leaving by then. Food is overpriced for small portions and took over 45 minutes to be brought out. Never got drink refills. My son ordered the breakfast chicken sandwich. First time it was brought out, it was a different sandwich. Took awhile to get our server's attention, so she could inform the cook. Second time, sandwich was brought out without meat in it ( made fun of my son for this one). It took awhile to get server's attention again. We each had to share food off of our plates so my son could eat. Finally had to walk up to the front to get our check. Our server did bring out a to go order of my son's food and had the order removed from our check. She started complaining about how disorganized and backed up the kitchen was. Usually I'll give a place 3 chances, but honestly I don't believe we'll be returning. I'd rather go to Jenny's, Molly Brown's, Bosco's or the Mile High Cafe, which are all near by. I have never been a huge fan of IHOP, but I wanted to see if things have improved and decided to visit our brand-new location in Hesperia on I Ave. Upon looking at the menu, I notice that the prices are still far too high, especially for what you get. The food was fresh, and I have no real complaints other than the portions are small for the price of the meals. And $ 4.09 for a soda? Ouch. But, that is not why I am doing this review. I will say that when I entered the establishment I was greeted by 2 different people, always appreciated. Once we sat down, the service was fine, but what was really most impressive was Kimberly. She was mainly at the front, so I am not sure if she was hosting or a server. Either way, good call at making her the face of your new IHOP. She was so friendly, helpful, attentive, funny and observant. Don't let her go! All your staff should be more like her!! She did everything with a smile and made sure to greet and say goodbye to each guest. THAT is how customer service should be! Well done, Kimberly!! We came to try out the new location and apparently came at a bad time. The manager trainee was on break, the waitress seemed lost and cooks didn't know how to make some items that are advertised on the menu. The coffee was probably the best thing about this experience because the food was mediocre. The serving of eggs was laughable! We got about 2 tablespoons of scrambled eggs. I felt bad for the people working they looked confused and by judging the other customers faces, I'm sure we were all thinking the same thing..."I'm not coming back here again" there was even a family that walked out because their order was taken 3times and yet the food was still not ready.
