I come here consistently for brunch when I am off from work. The place is always relatively clean and bright. Sometimes it does take a few minutes for the hostess to seat me but I don't particularly mind. Once seated, I am typically served and waited on pretty quickly. Overall the food is as expected from IHOP. I typically order the split decision breakfast with house coffee. The eggs, sausage, and bacon aren't spectacular but the pancakes are always buttery and delicious. The french toast is hit or miss, sometimes overcooked, sometimes undercooked. This review is from last month...it was a weekend morning and was in the mood for some pancakes! I haven't been to IHOP since pre-COVID. First time visiting this location. The place is a little dated, but has the usual IHOP decor. We got seated quickly and the place was clean. Not busy this morning. The service was ok, however wasn't pleased with the food presentation and temperature. The pancakes were cold, as if they were cooked and placed under a heat lamp until someone ordered it. To include, the pancakes looked as if the cook tore a piece of the edge off...maybe it broke apart or maybe it was burnt and they wanted it removed...regardless it shouldn't have left the kitchen. So I asked the waiter to remove it from my bill and he did. Also, the egg sandwich was put together in a rush...presentation was sloppy. (How hard is it the sandwich right??) The manager stopped by to apologize and asked if I wanted a another order of pancakes, which I kindly declined. (You only get one try to make my food, sorry). I forgot to take pics! Impressed as I was I decided I'm "Officially" starting a petition to get IHOP's name changed to IHOW and I won't stop until I get it done. No matter what, I'm determined to start calling this place the International House Of Waffles and I'm getting it done. At any rate IHOW is now a thing people. I mean, don't make me have to explain how Waffles hold Butter and Syrup much more effectively than Pancakes do. This IHOP. The restaurant is dimly lit. Only a single staff member greets lines and LINES in front of you - then takes a half hour to get two people seated with breakfast menus. Waiters were laboring their walk like they were in slow-motion. When I saw the ratio of lots of tables to waitresses; I knew it would be a 2 hour meal.. This is easily the best IHOP we've ever been to, and we've been to many in several states over the decades. We were driving home from a Thanksgiving weekend visiting my mom, going from Tenafly, NJ (my old stomping grounds) to the Cleveland, OH area, an approximate 9 hour road trip. We decided to stop here for breakfast after we saw a sign for an IHOP near an exit on Route 80W. Despite it being crowded on a Sunday, we were seated immediately, and service was top notch, quick, and super friendly. Our food came in about 6 or 7 minutes, and our check was left on the table as we were finishing (very observant server). All in all, we ate well, and spent no more than 25 minutes here total time. Visited this location many times in the past. Today I decided to visit it today for breakfast and boy has the place. The restaurant was clean and modern and the greeter and waitress were polite. My problem is with whoever is cooking the food. I ordered the breakfast sampler with two extra sausage links. Whoever prepares the meals should know that any type of pork should be prepared well done. Theses pork sausage links were served under cooked looked grey and where soft, I had to request them sent back to the kitchen to let them cook longer and brown them up. I ordered shell eggs scrambled soft, yet they were received fried hard with brown on them. My fiancée's turkey bacon appeared to be slabs of leather. They need a cook that will take the time to prepare the meals right to avoid anyone getting sick. Not to be funny nor disrespectful, it appears that management have chosen to hire only people of Mexican decent to work there now, when in the past there were employees of all races. The owner needs to have a talk with management on their hiring decisions and observe their performance on preparing the meals. To sum it all up, this place sucks now read more

This place was off the charts bad! I should have known when i walked in. There were a total of about 5 people in here eating. I ordered a burger. Didn't get what i asked for to begin with. I was hesitant to eat here based on the reviews. Everything in this establishment was dirty and old. The staff were attentive and friendly but the place was disgusting. Every clear booth divider has food, and finger prints on it. My son was given a ketchup container with a cracked pal tic cap which he tried to eat. Absolutely terrible experience for delivery drivers and customers who wish to have their food delivered. It will be cold, it will be late. They do not start making customers food until the driver gets there, this makes everyone look bad, especially the restaurant. The proper way to store food until the driver arrives is via Heat Racks. I avoid IHOP simply because I like syrup on my pancakes not all over the table, chairs, floor, utensils and any other gravity defying surface you can imagine. Upon the insistence of an 11 year old relative (who may not see 12) we went to IHOP. My first pleasant surprise came when I walked through the entrance and didn't immediately become glued to the floor. In fact, I didn't get stuck to the floor once. IHOP has cleaned up or renovated this location so it doesn't look like a 1970's import. After sitting down and still not sticking to anything, we perused the menus. I thought the prices were a bit higher than local diners for equivalent breakfast dishes. I ordered their breakfast dish of 2 sausages, 2 eggs, hash browns and 2 pancakes. Good, I thought, they wrote pancakes, not short stack or small pancakes. This was 10 dollars and coffee was additional. Waitress was pretty good but, somewhat perfunctory and not as attentive as expected. Coffee was an indescribably low average but, it seemed to have caffeine ! Only complaint was that refills didn't come early or often. The meals came out and my dish, which I thought would be a large offering was two small eggs; 2 thick sausage links, burnt on one side, that tasted like hot dogs; home fries that were so tough that I cold not cut through the fried outside but mushy potatoes and grease oozed out from the center; and two small pancakes. Each pancake was smaller in diameter than the length of a fork. Worse than the small size was the fact that this is a pancake house so these should be great. No such luck. Now, while waiting and while eating, there apparently was no management present. The full wait staff congregated towards the rear and near the kitchen entrance which was wide open. It was social time. The loud talking and shouting was annoying and disturbing. In addition to the noise, it was what was being shouted. Someone was shouting "Maricon" ( faggot in Spanish) and other delightful words at someone else in the kitchen. No one had the presence of mind to stop the shouting and cursing. Using that word in Spanish will certainly start a fight. Add all this up and it was an expensive $70.00 breakfast for 3 adults and one 11 year old who learned a new Spanish word at IHOP. read more

However, once the waitress realized we were here she was very sweet and quick to get everything out to us. The food was your regular chain restaurant meal. The turkey sandwich we ordered was nice and big and very fresh. The quesadilla was good as well but a little greasy. Food only took 10 minutes to come out after ordered. I really enjoy getting IHOP breakfast, and lately I haven't had time to go inside and eat so my family and I have ordered to-go. We have ordered takeout 3 times in the last month (maybe 5 weeks), and every time I have ordered the Chocolate Chocolate Chip pancakes. However, every time we have received our order, these pancakes are NEVER included and instead I am given chocolate chip pancakes with a tiny amount of chocolate syrup. This is EXTREMELY disappointing as it has been clarified on every occasion what the order is and yet the cooks at this IHOP have never completed the order. My wife always begs me to go to ihop, I finally caved in and took her and the kids there. When we first arrived the sat us next to a table that wasn't cleaned off yet. We sat there for a good 20 mintues looking at dirty plates right next to us, waiters walked by a dozen or more times and no one picked it up. I ordered the country fried steak with eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were burnt on the outside and mush in the middle, absolutely unedible. I could tell my country fried steak was frozen for awhile. I have never seen meat bow on a plate. The taste was foul and the gravy looked like something my dog threw up. OK, its IHOP. I don't exactly expect 5 Star service...but I do expect cleanliness. The place was dirty...not messy..dirty. The floors were filthy, the syrup containers on our table had caked on whipped cream and other food stuff on them. the carpets were atrocious. Even after one of the workers came through with a broom and dustpan - the carpets were still dirty. I asked for plates for our appetizer and you could tell they were just 'cleaned', they were hot and still a little wet...too bad there was still food stuff stuck on them. I took my daughter to the bathroom and looked around...big mistake. There was someone in the bathroom cleaning, so we waited. We walked in..no sign was up warning us that the floor was wet (we obviously knew it was because we were waiting for the cleaning person to leave)..but if we hadn't and walked in without being cautious, we could have fallen. The bathroom sink counter was dirty..so I guess he just mopped? There was dirt, food, etc.. all over the floor and in the crevices of the baseboards. I'm sorry, but if its this dirty in the front of the house, I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like. I was so so so disappointed. I have zero plans on going back. I am going to contact the manager and IHOP about this location. What a shame.
