The waffle is the best waffle I ever had from a restaurant! The bacon tasted peculiar and wouldn't get again. The server was very attentive even though it was busier than normal, according to her. Typical diner vibe.

    Omelette with hash browns

Brought my father here for breakfast. We both ordered omelettes with toast and hash browns. My omelette had chorizo, tomatoes and avocado in it. The chorizo wasn't that spicy, the avocado and tomatoes were nicely mixed in but the omelette was way over cooked. The hash browns were nicely well done, which I like. The toast and coffee was very good. The service was good. The only downside was the over cooked omelette. My father's was also overcooked. The ambiance was that of a diner. Also, it had snowed that morning and even though it was a dusting, the sidewalks leading to the entrance weren't shoveled or salted. I probably won't be back. There are other diners in the area.

My wife and I try to visit as many NJ diners as we can. So don't ask me why in all the years of driving past Paul's, we never stopped in until today. I'm just glad we did, because Paul's was a great stop! Right on Rt 46, easy parking, and a nice window booth...all good! For breakfast, I went with the Italian omelette. The omelette was made with sausage, mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, and came with a delicious tomato sauce. Hash Browns nice and crispy, along with whole wheat toast made a great breakfast. My wife had French toast with bacon. Also very good and plenty enough bacon to share! The service was very friendly. The girl handling our table did a great job. Can't wait for my wife's parents to come up from Florida soon, as we'll definitely be taking them to Paul's.

    Matzo ball soup

Nice well lit diner easily located on 46, I was hungry and it was convenient so I popped in.. many years ago when we lived in NJ I had eaten here I ordered matzo ball soup and a grilled chicken and spinach pannini , of course like any true diner there is a huge selection Matzo ball soup was bland and the ball lacked salt. The grilled chicken & spinach was served with fries. The good, the fries were crisp and fresh . The chicken was tender and not overcooked . The disappointment, the sandwich was drenched in vinegrette to the point of wetting the entire bread which was a Flatbread and not a pannini This sandwich needs to be presented correctly as advertised with less sauce in order to be authentic and actually taste the meal - until then id pick another entree

Ive been coming to Pauls Diner my entire life since childhood! Its my family's go to stop every sunday. They have all the best types of dishes you may be in the mood for. Their sandwiches and burgers are the best. Breakfast is also served at all hours which is another plus! They create the diner experience and service is always good when we go. Highly recommend always!

Paul's is an institution. I grew up going here in high school a long long time ago. Still the same on the outside and a bit updated inside since 1981. The menu is full with sandwiches, breakfast and meals. My Greek salad with gyro had anchovies on the side. Hmmm. Not Greek. It was just ok. The steak sandwich was very filling. The three salads with tuna, egg, and chicken was also filling. I had to laugh because the specials came with your choice of soup. I had cream of spinach. It was very thick. Wasn't my thing. Dessert was a small jello, rice pudding, pudding or ice cream. Growing up in NJ and moving to the west coast reminds me of the differences in restaurants and diner fare. Serving jello as an option is one difference. Or maybe Paul's caters to an elderly clientele? I love how you park and drive right out of your parking space onto route 46. Good memories but reminds me of why I love my new home state. Our server was pleasant.

I took my sister from out of town there for lunch, looking for something "interesting". It was already packed before noon on a Thursday, so that looked promising. A little noisy, maybe? , Greeted promptly, seated in the last booth left, great coffee. Service fast and friendly despite crowd. Reuben great. Lean Patrami. oversized portion (!) served open face. Tons of fries and did not expect bonus onion rings. Reasonable price. The pies looked great, but we were overstuffed from lunch serving. Will return.

As the name suggests, it's a barn-themed, locally owned restaurant that is well known for its brunch. We were seated on one side of the restaurant where the walls were covered with rustic tin signs, famous sayings, and funny quotes. The whole atmosphere felt like stepping into a cozy countryside diner from the 1980s. After settling in, we ordered: * Thick French Toast - Delicious and very filling. * Lamb Gyro Omelette - Easily the star of the meal. A solid 5/5. It came with pita bread on the side and a thick, crispy hash brown. * Tuna Sandwich - Nothing extraordinary, just a decent tuna sandwich. * Coffee The food was excellent, and the overall Memorial Day brunch experience was wonderful. I would definitely come back again for both the food and the friendly service.

It pivoted downward with worse service and management all the way to 1 star for the cockroach that crawled into our poker group in 2018 (and I'm removing that photo because - you'll see). And stayed at 1 star after COVID when they refused to invite our poker group back despite the pleas of the nice lady running it. Ownership here has changed. And while the poker group isn't coming back, they still offer the same happy hours with reasonable wing prices, the same amazing array of wing sauces and the ability to mix "on fire" into whatever other flavor I want, the same wide variety of other foods for appetizers, main courses, and dessert. And the same atmosphere, slow service that sometimes forgot to check on us while multiple servers congregate and chat... but at least no more roaches. They've cleaned up better, the restrooms got some much needed upgrades, so with that, I am upgrading my review up to 3 stars. 5 star wings, other things still need improvement, and maybe someday I'll be back to weekly attendance. A man can dream.

We love how you can build your own burger by topping off your burger with tomatoes, lettuce, onions, pickles, and etc. You can also add your own sauce such as mustard, ketchup, hot sauce, a1 sauce, and etc. The staff: They are very patient with us and even recommended items for us to try. They smiled and greeted us, and it was very welcoming. Ambience: The tables, floors, bathrooms, soda area, condiment station, topping bar, utensil areas were all clean with no debris in sight. Wagyu burger: This was cooked to perfection and my brother said this was really good and it was worth the 45-minute drive to come here. Elk burger: My friend said this was cooked just the way he liked it and it was the best burger he has ever had. He said this was definitely worth the drive. Turkey burger: This was cooked perfectly and was not dry. I loved how it tasted with the right amount of cheese on there. Nacho beef cheese fries: The beef made this dish even better. We have never had anything like this and was definitely worth ordering. Side of fries: The fries were not dry and was seasoned well. Overall: This was definitely worth the 45-minute drive to come here to eat at this burger joint. Maybe we will come back next time with another friend, and we will try out other menu items.

All of the Fuddruckers that I grew up around are gone and there's only a few left in the country and this was one of them. Had to take full advantage of it! As you walk in, there's a big queue to walk through until you get to the ordering counter. They have lots to choose from for burgers and some other stuff however I always just get the basic burger and then go to the toppings bar and fill it up. Fries come with every entree but drinks are extra. It's also unlimited fries. You just have to go up to the pickup counter again if you run out of fries and they will give you some more. I just started with one of the basic 1/3 pound burgers and topped it up with tons of pickles and liquid cheese that I just love and miss so much. They have lots of different condiments as well as jalapeno cheese and some sort of horseradish mayonnaise. Definitely good choice here! Definitely planning to return in the future. Brought back some great memories of Fuddruckers from my past. Plenty of seating and place was clean.
