I had the worst customer service at this IHOP after waiting 30 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order she didn't even acknowledged us. she started taking the order for another table that came after us. If it isn't because I got up and asked when our waitress will be taken our drink order at least, is when she decided to come to our table. Once we got our drink and our food, the waitress didn't even came to see if we needed anything or to refill our drinks. Not even when we got up to pay since she didn't even brought our ticket to the table. I know that is a busy location but your customer service is horrible and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone I know. read more

BEWARE! I didn't check reviews till I was in the parking lot and was starved and thought this is a chain how bad can it be. IT WAS BAD the cook was yelling the whole time complaining. They were "out" of multiple things, my daughters chicken strips were over cooked and they gave her less than a handful of fries. I see a majority of the 2 star reviews for this location pertain to the cleanliness of the restaurant and the service. My wife and I chose to eat here because the wait time for Cracker Barrel was insanely long. We only waited for about 10 minutes or so to get a table on a Sunday morning around 11, which is not bad at all. The restaurant was extremely busy, but the staff appeared to be handling everyone in a courteous and professional manner. We had a great server who engaged us in conversation and was extremely personable, but also fast with gathering our order and returning with drinks and the meals. I didn't see any trash on the floor or messy tables throughout the restaurant because they were so busy and attempting to clear off everything they could to open up more tables for the guests. One server or manager was yelling in the back to get runners up to get the food, but was a bit too assertive with his staff. He yelled, "I need runners up here NOW!!". You could tell the servers did not appreciate that, but some don't understand proper leadership techniques. I ordered the Split decision breakfast that included 2 pancakes with apple topping, 2 pieces of French toast, 2 eggs, 2 bacon strips, and 2 sausage links. My wife ordered chicken fingers with mashed potatoes and corn. The food was tasty, but my pancakes and eggs seemed a bit cold. Coffee wasn't too bad, but wasn't the greatest. This location is not the greatest. Restrooms are in some serious need of some up keep. Altogether the whole restaurant could use some cleaning. There was also dirty silverware and sticky syrup handles. Yuck!! Waitresses are to busy chatting and rush through taking our order. They made me feel like they didn't have time to help me. This is an efficient IHOP. Our table was clean and our orders were taken quickly. The menu is far too packed with breakfast choices to do reading any justice. Most selections are about $7. The beverages are in "Pepsi" brands (bleh). Four kinds of syrup are offered (butter pecan, strawberry, blueberry, original). Hashbrowns are cooked crispy and brown. It's hard to eat healthy in this place, but fun to try new items. 4/2013 update. This place also has been great about accommodating large parties with no lapse in service speed. The service in this place is terrible. We waited at least 15 minutes to get our sweet teas and we never even got the salad we asked for. They also forgot the pickles on my boyfriend's burger and they tried over charging us. Southside IHOP is a million times better. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! We waited for 20 minutes JUST to be seated, while watching workers chit-chat and NOT clearing tables. We were literally standing at the front counter while waitstaff were talking, laughing. We noticed 10 tables that were messy, customers had left and the tables were left uncleared. While a good 5-7 staff did nothing - including IGNORING US. There was actually a couple before us who had said they were fed up and left. We waited and probably should NOT have. Another 20 minutes went by with NO drinks...40 minutes WASTED and there were plenty of wait staff. They just stood around chatting and laughing. We were NOT the only ones to leave...it was ridiculous!!! HORRIBLE!!!! STAY AWAY!!!! This place is a TRASH!!!! Stay Away, do NOT waste your time or MONEY here!!!! First off I have eaten at plenty of Ihops in other cities and absolutely loved it, but this particular Ihop is terrible. They are overpriced because they are in business with the neighboring Travelodge. They also have terrible service. My sandwich looked like it was just thrown together and the fries were so salty I couldn't even eat them. Our waitress was openly complaining about needing her break and she was VERY rude. I love this IHOP. Jen is my most favorite waitress. Though we don't get her every time, all of the workers make my daughter feel like a princess every time we go. It's her favorite place ever. We get the best experience when we come here. Customers just have to understand that people are human. 1.5stars for the food.... 1/2 star for the service. Place was pretty dirty with good and trash on the floor. We got in waited for 5mins before anyone came to do our drink order. We ordered everything at once and i specifically asked for crunchy hash browns. 15-20mins later the food came...hash browns softer then baby skin...i asked for them to be fixed...that took 10 mins and they came back hot...still soft. I asked for the manager and he removed the meal from the bill. We also diverted some customers that were walking in and told them to hit up somewhere else. This is your typical IHOP, good location next to I75 but decor from the 1970's. Poor service overall, had to wait a long time for coffee and drinks. No offer to refill our drinks during out meal. When our food arrived had to send one of the meals back as it was cold, overall temp. of my meal was warm at best. Probably a lot better options for dining in the area.
