The food quality at this IHOP location has declined over time. When I visited in 2016, the entrees and drink refills were subpar, and they remain so today. In the attached photograph, you can see what was served to me. This was supposed to be an omelette, but it appeared greasy with everything haphazardly thrown on top. There was a significant amount of grease or oil at the bottom of the omelette, as shown in the picture. The to-go boxes need to be replaced with something better, as it's easy for the top lid to separate from the bottom where the food is placed. They have removed most of the menu, especially the Swedish crepes. I wish they hadn't taken this off the menu, as it was a favorite of mine. They should hire more people. After attending a concert at the coliseum, the only place that was open was Ihop. I have always been a fan of the breakfast at Ihop especially late night after an event. I had not been to this breakfast chain in years so was happy to try this location. I tried to order to go online before we arrived but for some reason the website did not work. I called the restaurant and the lady who answered said that they were not taking orders over the phone only online and in person. When we arrived to place our order the place was fairly empty only a couple of tables were filled and there was 1 couple waiting to be seated. Half of the place was closed with tables on the chairs and that area was very clean. There was security that stood both inside and outside which made me feel safe, so they get a star for that. We placed our order and was told it would be 15- 20 minutes. Well, an hour later is when we finally got our order. Apparently, we were a couple of the first to arrive after the concert let out, there ended up being about 50 people who arrived after us. Not sure if the cook and kitchen staff quit that night but all I can say is I could have drove home and cooked my own breakfast in the time it took for our food to be done. The hostess was professional, and friendly and she seemed so frustrated that I think she ended up going back to the kitchen to make a few orders just to get us out of there. There were several people who walked out after waiting for a table for a very long time and realizing they would end up being there all night it they wanted to dine in. Our food was actually pretty good, it was hot, and my spinach and mushroom omelet and pancakes were on point. Slow. Unprofessional Service. Unclear How They Remain Open. We arrived at 12:00P ET. We waited for our table. Not unusual for a Sunday. What is unusual, is once seated we waited 20 minutes to place our order then another 30 minutes to receive the food and beverages. We watched as the front counter remained unstaffed for over 30 minutes as a crowd built up in the lobby area over that timeframe. Very poorly run establishment. The food was mediocre, but after the poor service it was actually welcomed. If that's the strategy, make them wait so whatever is served is welcome, it worked, but wasn't appreciated. read more

Ok, I know it's just a chain restaurant; and, not much can be expected. "Not much", however, should, at the minimum, include being acknowledged by at at least one of the three employees at the front door (my daughter and I stood there for over five minutes before we received so much as a nod. Yes, I would have left; but, my daughter loves IHOP. After today, just not this one) utencils on the table before the food is served (I had to ask for them, as my food sat there. I wasn't about to eat my breakfast crepe like a burrito; and, I'm pretty sure my daughter wouldn't be scooping up a handful of scrambled eggs with her hands and popping them in her mouth like an asprin); and, when I get my food, it should be hot, not just below room temperature. I rarely eat at an IHOP, but was a hungry traveler so what the heck. The first thing I noticed after passing the register was a small spill of the floor which servers looked down acknowledging the spill while whisking food to tables. No warning or be carful sign from the time arrived until the time departed. As we sat down and waited and waited, a server finally appears and takes the order for drinks and food. 15 minutes pass trying to get the server's attention and at this time anyone's attention. I look toward the back and the majority of the servers are on their cell phone talking or texting. Our server finally appears with the food and I inform her that my order was incorrect. long story short, server gets attitude, I call manager, manager corrects order, server takes longer to bring out food (at this time everyone else has finished their food), food finally arrives. During this time frame of events, the server was oh so gracious to a family right next to us which I found a bit odd, but that is a whole other story. I had pics to post but it is not worth the hassle. This is a pretty good IHOP. In my previous visits, I have had angry servers, but today our server was very kind. I visited this location to try the Addams Family themed breakfast. I ordered the Morticia Hot Chocolate and Wednesday's Webcakes. The hot chocolate was complete purple with whipped cream on top. It was extremely sweet. It was good, but a little to sweet. Normally I love IHop. This IHOP on the other hand offered a mediocre experience at best. Our server was great, but the food was burned. I could have played frisbee with the sausage patties because they were so burned. I asked to switch to a sausage link that looked good but they wanted to up-charge me to switch to a sausage that they apparently knew how to cook. After speaking to a manager, she would rather take back and throw away all the food I ordered than give me a different kind of sausage when they gave me inedible food to start with. Mama and I ate a late breakfast here this morning. The service was very slow. Mama had a hamburger while I had a breakfast with eggs, pancakes, and bacon. The order was slow to be taken and slow to be delivered. When we finally got it it was cold. My wife's hamburger was delivered without any condiments so she had to wait a long time again to get her ketchup and mustard, all the while her food is getting colder. She requested extra napkins and the girl took so long to bring them out that I took some silverware off an adjacent table and got the napkin from that. By the time the waitress brought the extra napkins we were through and requested the check. There was no effort to refill my wife's water.
