You can't beat the price, the plastic menus and the hospitable servers who greet you. All of this embodies the essence of IHOP. Came to this spot because I was craving some good ole' fashioned pancakes with the other breakfast items. Me and my boyfriend server Harley was wonderful and very friendly. She got everything on our order correct and was knowledgeable of the menu. I believe good servers make or break your experience. Harley did not disappoint and definitely ensured me and my bf had a good experience. I will come back again for some good food and service. The IHOP is a fancy version of the Waffle House / Huddle House out there. IHOP is a good place to go for food when you need to sober up from a night of hard partying. During this time this is not only helpful in keeping you from having a massive hangover the next day, but this is also the time that the food tastes good. Went to this IHOP a couple of weekends ago with my wife and my parents. As we were waiting to be seated a group of 3 came in and waited as well. After we were finally seated we waited 10 minutes with no server. Then I noticed the group behind us were being seated and not even 2 minutes later they were being served by the waitress who had our table also. How do I know she had our table? I like IHOP and really love their Omelets, but this location gives IHOP a bad name. The short story is a 10 to 15 minute promised time took 36 minutes in total and the food had zero flavor and was on the smaller portion size to what I'm accustomed too. Now the details: Tonight I was craving an omelet for dinner which I rarely do and was staying the night on a business stay over at the nearby Comfort Suites (which I recommend). I placed the order at IHOP 15 minutes before my estimated arrival because to me that was about the timeframe I guessed it would take to have my food ready to go. Even the waitress that took my order on the phone said it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes which was what I thought based on all my other experiences at other IHOPs in Georgia and Florida. Well when I got there I saw one couple waiting and another finishing up placing their to go order which was fine and took a couple minutes until they got to me. They told me mine would be up in a few minutes which was not true. I waited patiently about 10 minutes then a gentleman asked me if I'd been helped and I told him I was concerned that I had placed my order 25 minutes ago. He said they only had one cook and that they were working on it. Well, I waited another few minutes and the one couple that was waiting received their food, then I waited another 5 or so minutes and was about to walk out as I was getting ill when my food finally came at the 36 minute mark after I ordered it to go. NOT ACCEPTABLE Mr. or Mrs. IHOP Owner! For an IHOP to be right next to a busy part of town and next to a brand new Holiday Inn Express the Quality and time frame to get your food should be worlds better than this. There were only a few people in the restaurant and I don't see any reason why it should have took 36 minutes to fry a few eggs and ham and some Hash browns. Waffle House takes 5 minutes at best and you should too! I expected a higher level of service for sure. Now the food: My Omelet was bland, my hash browns slightly burnt on one side and near raw on the other. I had eaten here for breakfast about a year ago and it was nowhere near this poor of an experience. This location definitely had an issue tonight with either not being staffed accordingly or needing better staff to handle the customers in a timely manner. This will cost business here and could be heading downhill based on how many I saw eating there tonight. On a positive note the waitresses were nice, but not one time did they even apologize for the super slow service. I will not return to this IHOP again for dinner, but can't promise I'll completely shun them as maybe it was a bad night and I was an unlucky customer, but with time all will see. We love IHOP so we keep going back thinking this place has to get better but it doesn't. The kitchen always seems to be short staffed. Pancakes never come out with rest of the order, always because "there were too large parties ahead of you" which is a ridiculous excuse the 3rd time around. This time it was an all you can eat pancake special but forget that. Pancakes were cold and server raced off after bringing them back we couldn't order another batch (not that we really wanted to wait again). When she did finally come back with our ticket, we asked for more pancakes, so she left, took orders from two more tables then went in the kitchen. Normally I would rate this restaurant with at least 4 stars. But my last visit completely changed that. We went in around 8:30 or 9:00 PM on a Thursday. We were one of maybe 6 tables. We were sat at a table that was sticky. This was taken care of. They brought us our older 2 a kids menu but didnt give us one for our other little who does like to color. So 3 kids and only two got crayons and paper. My husband and I got our menus and the server said be right back to take your order. We said ok. Of the 3 servers in the place no one ever came to check on us, take our order, or anything. They stood around talking in the Galley way or playing with their hair. Sat at least 1 table in the 15 mins we had been waiting and took their drink order. Needless to say we walked out and my kids cried cause they didnt get what we promised for dinner. IHOP used to be my favorite place to eat when I was a kid but, I noticed that we stopped going there. I later realized that IHOP has horrible service. I hate it for their waitresses because, they get little tip due to the slow service. I will say that IHOP is pretty dirty also. I think they need to learn how to only use certain parts of their eating area at a time, especially when they aren't busy. This will help them be able to clean their tables better as they will remember the table is dirty. I feel that they need a better dress code also. Dont waste your time, we have on several occasions. Every year for the last 4 years we have given IHOP at this location a chance. This last time was a mistake like the other times. The place was empty, but it still took almost 30 minutes to receive food. The order was wrong and missing items when finally brought to our table. The hash browns under cooked. Took another 15 minutes to get missing hash browns and toast. We never received the bacon absent from the order. At checkout we were given the wrong ticket and almost were overcharged. Honestly though, the worst for me was they can not make a good pancake of any sort. This time, the pancakes were raw in the middle with a dirty grill taste. This place sucks. As I entered the restaurant, I immediately had a strange feeling when the waitress who was seating my friend and I asked if we wanted to eat the food there or to go. Of course we wanted to eat the food there, it's ihop. We then sat down and ordered two waters, as the waitress came back with our waters she said "I'll be right back with your waters" as she was handing us our waters. So my friend and I were very confused. As we looked around we couldn't tell who actually was working there. There were people who were dressed up in street clothes who were grabbing menus and chatting with the staff. There were also a lot of cameras around. When we ordered our food, I ordered an item on the menu that consisted of a burger with an egg on top of it. The waitress did not know anything on the menu, so I had to point out what I wanted and I even watched her write down my order. Here comes the weirdest part. After we ordered, a woman came up to us holding her dry cleaning and had a very thick eastern accent. She was telling me that I ordered something that I did not order... I think, it was very hard to understand what she was saying. So, I had to explain to her what I actually ordered and then she asked me if I wanted fries or hash browns. It was very hard to understand what she was saying, it was almost like she was speaking in alien tongue. After she left, I looked around and all of the staff looked like they were hypnotized and I really felt like I was in the movie "Get Out". My friend asked me if we were on punked, the show with Ashton Kutcher. My food came out about 15 minutes late. No complaints on the food but after we ate, the waitress handed me the check and was staring at me and watching me write her tip and sign everything. After we left, my friend and I came to the conclusion that we had just eaten at an establishment run by aliens who are disguised as humans. read more

This IHOP is absolutely terrible. You walk into a dirty crowded restaurant and not one employee acknowledges you. Judging by the massive crowd of angry customers in the lobby one can assume that they have been waiting for very long time. After waiting by the hostess stand for several minutes a lady finally comes to speak with me (she is the manager). I kindly asked her how long the wait for three would be and she proceeded to lecture me on my lack of patience. All I wanted to do at that point was lecture her on her lack of community service seeing as the things she said to me as a customer were completely unacceptable and rude. Several weeks later I returned to this Ihop to see another crowd of angry customers in the lobby and an empty host stand.
