Ordered online for curbside pick up and paid in advance. Arrived at restaurant and called to let the staff know I was there for food to be delivered. The person on the phone made a deep sigh noise and hung up in my face. I would not have expected curbside if it wasn't advertised. I went in to request a refund... Maybe 1 or 2 of the staff was wearing a mask! I was told my refund would be on my card in 1 to 3 days! They immediately take the money but "there is a process to return it." I usually make the ride to Bartlett for any and every thing as the customer service and hygiene in places in Millington always suck. Not once did the manager attempt to find out what occurred or offer an apology. If you take your health seriously you will avoid most restaurants in this area. read more

My parents and I went to this IHOP for the donation for charity which you would get free pancakes. Well I would say don't go when they have this. Because there will be a lot of loud high schoolers ruining your dinner or breakfast. Our appetizer came out quickly but the entrees took way to long to get out. Ok so this is a different IHOP not the one in Cordova, and the one in Cordova seems better than this one if you have read my other reviews. We made a reservation for a group on 17 people a couple of days in advance for breakfast at 7am. Group was seated and the usual rounds of drinks started. Unfortunately that is where everything went downhill. Apparantently, we were not the only large group who made reservations, not a bad thing unless the management did not arrange for more than one cook to be in and 2 waitresses to be on staff to take care of not only the 2 large groups but everyone one else also. Now our group is pretty laid back, but when no drinks are refilled after 15-20 minutes, and our waitress was no where to be found, we got up and picked up the coffee pots--which got us 2 waitress's immediately, this was good for that refill only. Our groups food was received almost 40 minutes after ordering, and 1/2 the orders are messed up, eggs going mixed with wrong breakfast, and much more. After all that, we ate and requested for our checks, we were just ready to leave. Normally our group would have been patient, just hung around and talked and enjoyed our meal, but no coffee, juices or drinks refilled and we were just ready to go. Basically, the food tasted like cardboard, the staff was ill prepared even when reservations were made, and minimal service. Overall, I am told this place is better when it is just a family or 1 or 2 people. This is a breakfast place (keep in mind), 10 minutes later we were told they have no coffee. We ordered our food with our drinks and have been waiting on the food for 30 minutes! Like the other reviewer, IHOP is IHOP. I had the Two x Two x Two, and it tasted like pancakes, eggs, and sausage. I did, however, really appreciate our server. She was the hostess when we came in and was really friendly, then after a miscommunication of who our server should be, she just grabbed a pad and took our order - without complaint. I felt like breakfast for dinner tonight so I came to IHOP at about 9 PM to cure my craving. This proved to be a great idea. I was quickly seated in a booth and Mary, my server came right over to help. She was very helpful and helped me make some great selections from the new IHOP menu. To be sure, this IS IHOP. If you are looking for gourmet food, you are at the wrong place. But if you want decent comfort food at a fair price, this is a good place to go. I had the new red velvet pancakes, eggs, and sausage patties with hash browns. The pancakes were AWESOME! Mary came by to check on me often and offered me great advice about the local area (I'm just visiting for work). This is a newer IHOP and it doesn't have the "greasy" air smell that is often common at Denny's and IHOP and the like. It is well lit and clean. I would go back here again. read more

The service was horrible. She took forever to finally come to the table. We ordered our drinks that came 10-15 minutes later. Afterwards, we ordered our food which came cold. She was slow on refills. We asked for hot syrup but was told they were too busy to put any in the warmer so we wouldn't be able to prepare it. When a new order came out, it taste burnt. We then asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came out, he made excuse after excuse on why our service was poor. He also stated that he only had 2 people on the floor because they were not busy yet the waitress told us they were too busy to put hot syrup in the warmer. Something is not adding up. Eeh, what can be said about an IHOP that has not already been said? The IHOP in Millington is only about a year old. I have been there several times which in itself should be a testament to 2 things. The food is always hot and the place seems pretty clean, even late at night. I have had good and bad service there but I can say that each time I have been there a manager stopped by my table to see if everything was A-OK. I have had some really great service there too. The food is good, not great but good. Breakfast being there specialty seems to be always exactly what I ordered. I love the strawberry crepe's. Parking sucks, the parking spots in front open into a very narrow driving lane that curbs the street. there is ample parking on either side but it can be a long walk from the car. read more

I saw the past bad reviews, then checked the dates, they are old. We decided to give it a try anyway and we were pleased that we did. The server did take a few minutes to get to us but it was a busy Sunday morning. From that point on everything was fine and I am sure that the IHOP Corp. would be proud of this location. Came to eat today with 6 of my friends. As soon as we walked in the hostess gave us a look as if we were going to be a hassle, then proceeded to say that we "pissed her off" for coming. But that wasn't the worse part. Tracy, our server, got an attitude because when she asked for our drink orders, we also told her we knew what we wanted to eat (we knew what we wanted because it took her nearly 10 minutes to come greet us), and before we could even finish telling her that we all knew what we wanted, she quickly cut my friend off to tell us to hold on. She told us she would put our orders in and she never came back to check on us until we got our food. She herself didn't even bring our drinks, she had someone else do it. When bringing our food, she still had a demeanor about herself that screamed "annoyed". We asked for ketchup and lemons (because she forgot lemons for our waters), and she told us to hold on again because she had to go to do something. After she brought the ketchup and lemons, we asked for our checks, she gave them to us, with an attitude (surprise surprise) and we never saw her at our table again. I honestly love ihop, I even worked there for awhile! The food is amazing in my opinion, vada and Wc does a great job cooking, but since I left I can't believe how poor the service is. I'm a server myself and I know how it works. There's no way I would let my money walk out the door cause I'm too busy talking in the front of the restaurant to other co-workers. The last time I was there we sat there for 15-20 mins just waiting on a waitress to take our drink order. ‍‍ and then we couldn't even get her to come back to the table for refills. And no one seemed to care that we made it pretty obvious that we needed a server. Just people don't care anymore, and if your gunna be a server you needa start caring. Today (Labor Day) was the 2nd time in 2 weeks we visited this restaurant, both times for breakfast. After this 2nd visit we realized the restaurant is poorly run and the employees definitely do no more than is necessary to earn a salary. On both visits, the waitress staff appeared to be understaffed but there was time for 4 or 5 employees to congregate at the hostess station and chat. By good fortune we had the same waitress, April, who was excellent and went out of her way to make up for this deficiency. The food was good but April is the real star. An excellent asset. I ordered Ihop at 11pm a few nights ago, the guy who answered the phone was very pleasant and took my order correctly. When I returned home the food was still hot, the steak was made just right and everything was delicious ! I enjoy having an IHOP near my home but that's the end of the convenience. The service is slow at all times except for 3 am.

Despite the negative reviews we decided to try this place since we were really hungry for breakfast. From the time we were seated until we got our food was 22 minutes. The waitress was very responsive to the point where we tipped her extra and the food was good. We went in and it was full to brimming as usual which is ironic considering that on here it only has 2 stars but it's not the food the generally has 2 stars it's the service and again today the service overshadowed the food. The past two times I have attempted to eat here were awful. The servers are rude and act as if their customers are a bother. Eye-rolling, nonchalance, & rude behavior are very popular here. The first encounter was late late at night and the police were called because of a falling out between a server & customer. The server started the argument by of course being extremely rude. During this, we waited over forty five minutes for our food and left still hungry without food. The second time was a few days ago. The hostess rolled her eyes countless time at our presence. It took us ten minutes to be seated. The server was rude and forgetful. Service was awful considering the restaurant wasn't even close to being full. I understand that people have bad days/nights at work, but this should not affect the customers. One would think that if the business would notice the way their workers treated paying customers, that something might be done. This IHOP is by far the best i have ever been to. The severs there are very friendly and just all around awesome. I go there frequently and always get the best service, my food is delivered fast and hot every time. My favorite are the New York cheesecake pancakes they are like heaven in your mouth. read more
