My go to comfort food. I find IHOP to be consistent by not only location to location in the US, but also out of country. My go to is pancakes, eggs with cheese and hash browns. I ordered a turkey breast sandwich on wholegrain bread with mustard L&T. My waiter was even gracious enough to bring me more of the grilled turkey when I showed him the scarce amount on the sandwich. 'Why just pick one style when you can split your order 2 by 2 to have both at the same price'. Nothing like knowing this is an option at this establishment. As an ex-waitress myself for many years in a family friendly restaurant chain...only those who truly care about customer service and satisfying any/all clientel would quickly give a solution that also helps their establishment with a slight up sell...on a take out order at that...with ease ;) Yes, takeout tip $$ worthy! Total brownie points if I were one of those secret shoppers. She was super friendly, efficient and was even smart enough to carefully, late at night to make sure all was packaged just right. All needed items down to utensils were bagged, nothing a miss or had to be requested. She made sure without asking to package all toppings separately, so by the time you got home you weren't facing a mushy, sloppy mess. Fluffy pancakes still hot and intact with their accompanying fillings: caramel toffee and cheesecake flavored mousses. I opted to order a side of their tasty shredded style Hashbrowns; half order (2x) of the English Sticky Toffee Pancakes & half order (2x) of the NY Cheesecake Pancakes. Can you say breakfast for dinner and dessert! Both tasted great and weren't too sweet, maybe because I was controlling the amount of extra caramel sauce, strawberry and whipped toppings that were to be drizzled on. Fluffy tasty goodness, with plenty left over for breakfast & lunch tomorrow. All in all a quick super easy score with very little waiting time in the 8pm hour. Think I'm going to keep this location in mind for those late night breakfast for dinner cravings. Note they also have burger like offerings on the dinner portion of their menu. So regardless what time you go, there is something for everyone around the table. Tip: If you are also a Groupon+ participant this location offered a 30% off 1st visit, then 10% each additional visit till accepted offer expires. Food is okay. I got the western burger and my friend got the breakfast sampler. The burger was quite tasty although the bun was kind of dry. The fries were crispy, no complaints. My friends food was very greasy, not nasty but just too fatty tasting. It's good if you're in the mood for diner food, that's really all it is. Our server, Robert, was very nice and attentive. Ever since the leave had a fire and was redone it's never been the same. The food is lacking. The service is horrible. My last trip I ordered banana Nutella crepes (see photo). My food arrived. The first two bites were just crepe. Knowing that sometimes the ends don't get filling I went right to the middle of the crepes. They give you two criss crossed over one another. Well there was some warm banana in it but no Nutella. I tried a few other spots on each crepe after laying flat next to each other. Nope. Nothing. Nada. So basically they made crepes. Through a few pieces of banana in the hot crepe. Rolled it up. Squeezed Nutella over the top, laid some warm bananas down on top and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Like it was some masterpiece. Smh. My 2 year old niece was done with her food and I honestly was so pissed off I didn't want any other food from them. So when the waiter came by I told him my issue. He said oh no ma'am that's how they are made. Trust me I know. When I said that's not how they're made. The filling is supposed to be in the crepe and that when I had it at another IHOP it was made right. He continued to say no no that's way it's made. This used to be a great IHOP. Not sure what's recently happened, but it took forever for anyone to ask for our order and bring us drinks/food. The waiter was nice, but again, NO ONE checked on us for a very long time. Also, when the food did arrive, my fiancé IMMEDIATELY felt sick, but chalked it up to possibly eating too quickly, so he took the rest home. Come to find out, the turkey had MOLD on it!!! Absolutely disgusting and repulsive. I have pictures as proof of this as well. How dare anyone have food in the condition that it was. This restaurant is literally making people SICK. This Ihop makes me think of my brother. My most recent time spent here was times when I got my brother to drive me to work. My price for getting out of a bus ride was to buy him breakfast at Ihop before going into work. One time he had their chicken and waffles breakfast combination and I just couldn't stop laughing at him, he said that it was an okay combination. Figured that the wait to get a table would be forever, but the front desk and wait staff moved everything along smoothly and nicely, and we did not feel rushed at all. Our waitress was very friendly. As usual, the pancakes were good and filling. I eat here maybe only once a year. I pick a day where I expect to do nothing but sit around on the couch watching tv and falling in and out of sleep all day. It has been awhile since eating at this location. usually very crowded and service very slow. On this date 6/10 at about 12:30 pm coming in for lunch with 1 other person, It was crowded. We were seated right away and greeted very quickly by our server. She was friendly and took our drink orders. We ordered a ham and onion omelette with toast and a cheeseburger deluxe platter. The burger was very big and cooked as ordered , the fries were not very greasy and cooked fine. The omelette was loose on the inside and very tasty. Although it was crowded, the wait time for the food was reasonable. Good food, good atmosphere and friendly service is what we hope for when going out to eat. I've seen better customer service at a mortuary. The staff here was not just unfriendly, but straight up rude and confrontational. I've been going to ihop for years, but sadly that ship has sank. Are they under new management??!!! I've been coming to this ihop since I was a kid and NEVER experienced what I experienced this evening ! The place smelled dirty , plates and utensils had food stuck on them, the creamer cups were so wet that the peel off tops we're sinking in and The food was inedible ! We picked at our food, barley ate and ended up sick to our stomachs. The waitress brought me a very noticeably dirty plate and when she noticed that we barley touched our food didn't stop to ask if everything was ok, instead just dropped the check on the table and dashed off. Had I not felt so sick I would have asked for a manager! I'm so turned off that I will never return to this ihop! read more
