Excellent customer service! I picked up my to go order and when I got home I realized part of it was missing. So I jumped back in the car and when I got there the manager Michael was waiting for me. He was so humble and apologetic, and honestly these things happen when you get busy (my wife works in the same industry); he refunded my money (which I wasn't expecting), and offered to make the entire order fresh; I even got a free orange juice (which is weird cos I was thinking about adding juice to my order when I got there!). He went above and beyond and it was so appreciated. This is my local ihop and I order there a lot, and every time I'm either met at the door with my food, or am greeted like an old friend when I walk in. Our food was great too! This particular IHOP is one of the best kept secrets in dallas. It's one of the originals and the staff stays long term. They make do you feel like family every time I'm here. Stopped by for late breakfast and it was delicious. Tiki hubby and I shared an omelette with peppers, steak, avocado and a creamy sauce. Perla our waitress was so friendly and accommodating to our every need. I cannot say enough how great it is to have a good server. She split our order before bringing it to the table. Today my husband and I split the Deluxe 3 Three Cheese Bacon Omelet and it was so worth it! Loaded with smokey, chewy bits of bacon, crisp hashbrowns, and roasted tomato(which added the perfect amount of acid and sweetness to balance it all) jack and cheddar cheese, then smothered with a white cheese sauce. I didn't even have to add salt! Since I'm Gluten-Free, they made the Omelet without the wheat pancake batter and even split it for us! My husband's Strawberry Cheesecake Short Stack were as always, fluffy, and sweet, with bits of cheesecake folded into the batter(Baby, he enjoyed them WAY to MUCH)! I'm women enough to admit, I was drooling on the other side of table! Staff we're efficient and courteous as always and the boys in the back were on it! Cooks at IHOP will ALWAYS get my respect. This location has the smallest parking lot and we came at a really bad time as it was a Sunday morning and the line was basically pressed up against the door. We were there for a takeout order but since it was so packed we decided to park in the curbside parking spot to place an online order. Someone came outside quickly after we parked to double check that we were in fact placing a curbside order, which I understand because there was only one spot, but I felt like they didn't believe us at first? Hey, guys, I am disappointed with their food, I went with my kids everything tasted so bad and you could taste the oil so old and burnt.

I was quite disappointed with my visit here recently. We were able to be seated pretty quickly however after we sat down, our coffee mug had a lip stain on it and when we had asked the waiter to exchange the cup, we watched as they just wiped the cup with a towel. The food however was pretty good and the service overall was okay. The restaurant was pretty busy and seemed to be a little chaotic overall which I personally did not enjoy. The vibes of the restaurant is what you would expect though walking into any iHop! Not sure if I would go back unfortunately. read more

Great Chicken Fried Steak, but... The grill needed to be cleaned more often, I suggest a good scouring after each use, maybe a simple water on the hot grill to loosen the particulates left behind, then qwik scour and scrape into grease trap. This was by far the worst meal we had at this location ever. The Crispy Hash Browns were just this side of burnt, the biscuit tasted burnt, but it wasn't, so that means something was burnt on the grill, then never wiped of clean off and my biscuit was laid on that spot. The eggs were ok, hard to screw up and egg. The tables could have been wiped down better. The wife and I didn't eat all of our means, because we had an uninvited breakfast guest. A filthy little bum, who I noticed walking across the tops of the Syrup on the table, enjoying a sweet morning snack. Then the filthy thing went across the table to display it's pride in their choice of eating establishments. I don't think we are going back to this one again. too many BAD OMENS like the bug, table and food quality is a bit too much to ignore. But, I am giving them 2 stars for the CFS. Wow! This place runs like a well oiled machine. It is one of the smaller Ihop locations I have been to but they kill it. Literally as soon as you stand up to pay- they clear your table in a matter of minutes and seat the next guest. On a Sunday late morning there was a huge line of people but it still only took 8 minutes to get a table for two. The food was equally as fast and exactly what we ordered. I tried the new Kings Hawaiian French Toast and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend you try this location even if it looks super busy. No other IHOP can trump the amazing crew of hardworking people here, and there is no other place I would rather be in the morning. Pros - Location - Hours - Menu Cons - Parking - Size - Wait Time IHOP as those who follow me know this is one of my favorite restaurant chains. I LOVE IHOP, this one in particular is closer to my house which is why I frequent it so much. Sometimes though the very things that attract me to it are the reasons I would rather go to one of the further ones like mesquite. The location is convenient and surrounded by other restaurants giving options in the vicinity. With any IHOP it's 24 hours so you can come enjoy a meal whenever it's called for and of course their menu has a variety from Breakfast, Brunch, to Lunch, their menu is great. For the cons of this place in particular parking is a nightmare there never seems to be quite enough space for anyone to park here and fit in. Also the location is extremely small, not much space on the inside that accompanies the horrific wait times to be seated. If they expanded this place it could make tons more business. But for a quick meal it's a good spot to go, if not the competitors are literally right next door. read more

This specific location makes really good omelettes. The omelettes are always scrumptious with fresh ingredients (they even put fresh jalapeños as garnish on one of my omelettes). The space is very small, and it gets very crowded on the weekends, especially with little kids. None the less the food is good, affordable, and the service is decent. The men in our group were very uncomfortable because there wasn't enough leg room. And if you're a 6 feet person, social distancing was non existent here. Every table is being used.
