Avocado Toast - comes with scrambled egg whites but I substituted for over medium eggs.

I ordered the Avocado Toast and it was delicious. That toast was loaded with a very generous portion of avocado. Service was excellent. I went on a weekday morning, we were promptly seated and the food came out fast. Highly recommend.

2 eggs over easy, hash browns and a biscuit

We really enjoyed our breakfast at Starwood Cafe! The restaurant had a comfortable feel and nice atmosphere! Our server was great - he checked in with us a couple of times. We were hungry for eggs and hash browns and there were lots of choices! I chose the eggs over easy and hash browns with a biscuit that I could put jelly on. You have to get runny eggs to mix in with your hash browns- that's the way to eat them! Hubby landed on same eggs and hash browns but he decided on the biscuit with gravy. Everything was delicious!

My daughter and I came in on a Sunday and there was a 30 minute wait. We expected that. Almost to the second, we were sat in 30 minutes. We were quickly greeted and everything was good. We forgot to ask the server for special requests when ordering food (no runny eggs). Our fault. Manager came over. My daughter hadn't taken a bite. I had the eggs and bacon. Since we didn't try something out of the box, it was just breakfast. Make it at home, but we wanted to try a new place and I believe this place is will thrive, once the word gets out it's open.

This is such a great neighborhood brunch spot that is casually priced. They have a large indoor and outdoor seating area, so can get a table pretty quickly. Service was super fast and cordial, and I appreciate that they take Apple Pay. We were taking a neighborhood walk, and happened to get hungry so we stopped by on our walk before heading home. The ambiance was family friendly and casual, so we didn't feel out of place in our active wear. We ordered avocado toast and chicken and waffles. Both plates were really good! You can tell everything was freshly prepared and the ingredients were fresh. I really enjoyed my chicken and waffles, it came with gravy but I opted for syrup. My husband's avocado toast was pretty well balanced for a healthy option, and the avocado salad was dressed really well. Plates were priced appropriately as well, and a way better option in the area than a dennys or ihop. We will be back!

Great spot for brunch. Loved the veggie skillet and their honey almond latte is a must. The kiddo loved their fluffy pancakes as well.

I went here for brunch with a friend on a Saturday morning and we were seated immediately. The service was great and the food is reasonably priced. I ordered the chicken fried steak. It comes with two side items only; however it is a little confusing the way they currently have it listed on their menu. I would come back here and try something else. The chicken fried steak was a little tough, but okay overall. The hash browns, eggs and pancakes were delicious. I'll be back.

You can't see the pulled pork and that's not because of the eggs...it's because there wasn't much to see.

Gorgeous decor and interior. Was waiting for the opening for months. But, disappointed. Starwood menu is boring - nothing not being done by other spots. Ordered huevos rancheros (menu said crispy corn tortillas, pulled pork, feta?, salsa, eggs) and asked to sub pepper jack for feta. Nope, they can't. Ok... Plate came...not worth money or calories. Tortillas covered in grease and soft, few chunks of fat and one measly shred of pork, tiny bit of salsa. Manager was great and waitress was, as well; but, as I said, there are too many options for breakfast spots that are doing it well and I don't have to tell them how to cook was is on THEIR (limited) menu. Won't return.

Strawberry pancakes, a side of hashbrown, and chocolate banana-covered crepes.

The portions were a great size and the atmosphere was very pleasing! The service was good, a coffee cup arrived at our table with a bit of stain. I'd like to think, but we were quickly swapped for a new one! The Lady was attentive but towards the end after not being there for long, we did feel rushed. The pancakes were good, as well as the berry toast! 8.5/10

I know it's early but so far so good! We arrived to find a beautiful interior decorated in comfy and classy sky blue leather upholstered booths. The high ceilings and warehouse feel have the interior a very spacious and luxurious touch. Definitely several cuts above a regular diner! We were pleasantly greeted by the owner who informed us that she only had two servers and our patience would be appreciated. Apparently, no one wants to work anymore. We ordered the chicken & waffles and the Turkey club. Belgian Waffle was cooked perfectly and was magnificent. The chicken tenders on top were high quality breast meat with zero gristle or fat. My wife proclaimed the Turkey club to be the best she's ever had. The meat was fresh as were the lettuce and bacon. Even the fries were lightly seasoned and perfectly crunchy. Prices were very reasonable -- around $10-12 per sandwich and entree. Service from our waiter was outstanding and personable. We were checked on multiple times by the waiter and the owner to ensure our satisfaction. We were definitely more than satisfied!

$11 breakfast at Starwood cafe. They ran out of biscuits.

Today we were there and ordered eggs Benedict. The egg is supposed to be running. When we cut into them they were cooked and not runny. Call the waiter back and explained. He took them away and came asking - "you wanted them cooked, more, right". Ugh. Please teach your wait staff (and kitchen apparently) what eggs Benedict are - you have a variety on your menu.

There is a sentence on CBD Provisions' Instagram that I want to read to you because it is doing a…read morelot of work in very few words. "A brasserie in boots." That's it. That's the whole thing. French discipline, Texas spirit, six syllables, no further explanation offered or required, and if you do not immediately understand exactly what that means the moment you walk into The Joule on Main Street then I do not know what to tell you except that the rosemary tallow fries are going to clarify things very quickly. CBD Provisions opened in 2013 as the Joule Hotel's in-house restaurant, became famous for a crispy pig's head carnitas that required you to pull strips of meat off an actual half pig's head at the table and tuck them into tortillas, which is a dish so committed to its own bit that it belongs in a museum, and then closed in July 2025 for a months-long renovation that brought in new culinary director Sezer Deniz. Deniz trained under Chef Jean Paul Naquin at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. He has twenty-plus years in Michelin-starred kitchens including Alinea in Chicago. He is now making breakfast tacos inside a hotel in downtown Dallas and I want to be very clear that this is a promotion. The room has exposed brick and wood floors and steel beams and mosaic tile and antique mirrors and railcar booth seating and a center banquette and stone tabletops, all of which sounds like it should be competing with itself but instead produces the specific feeling of a place that has been here long enough to know what it is. I sat at the bar, which is the correct place to sit, and ordered the short rib corn cake stack, which is braised short rib and avocado and two poached eggs and a poblano hollandaise and which arrives looking like the cover of a cookbook that does not exist but absolutely should. The poblano hollandaise is the detail I keep returning to. Not regular hollandaise. Poblano hollandaise. Someone in that kitchen made a decision to take a classical French sauce with two centuries of culinary tradition behind it and introduce it to a pepper from Puebla, Mexico, and what resulted is something that makes you look at regular hollandaise and think, you had potential, you just never reached it. I ate the entire thing and then contemplated ordering another one and then did not because I am a person with limits, technically. The CBD Provisions burger is a double smash with American cheese and grilled onion and house pickles and something called fancy sauce, which is a name I respect enormously because it is not pretending to be anything other than exactly what it is. It comes with rosemary tallow fries, which are the reason I will order this burger every time I come here for the rest of my life. Rosemary. Tallow. Fries. Three words that in combination produce something that should be legally classified as a controlled substance. French in method, Texan in manner. Boots and a brasserie. The Joule has been on Main Street for years and CBD Provisions has been feeding people inside it for over a decade, new chef and new tile floors notwithstanding, and it has figured out the thing that most hotel restaurants never figure out, which is that the goal is not to remind you that you are eating in a hotel. The goal is to make you forget entirely. I forgot entirely. The tallow fries helped.
