Double Blueberry Pancakes
Kapi P.

Food was amazing I had double blueberry pancakes with extra whipped cream and a big steak omelette also tried the fried steak with mash potatoes and broccoli. Service was amazing our waitress Laura kept coming by to check on us even though the morning rush started to get a little busy. As usual it is always nice and clean a little chilly from the ac but always super clean. Highly recommend .

My daughters and I just came back from a long trip and were starving. Thankfully, IHOP was open late, the only spot nearby me where we could get something to eat late. We can never get enough of their chicken and waffles, and this time was no exception. My younger daughter also tried their new watermelonade drink and absolutely loved it. Our server Abbey waa amazing. It was late so it was very quiet. Grateful for the comforting food and late night service.

Cinnamon Bun Crepes

I've been craving some IHOP for a couple of weeks now. They offer fantastic specials for just $6.00 that you can't pass up. The Breakfast Faves Combo, Ham & Cheese Omelette, French Toast Breakfast, and House Scramble are all great options. I usually opt for the Breakfast Faves Combo, which includes 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and your choice of 2 bacon or 2 sausages. Considering how pricey breakfast can be these days, this is a steal. I really enjoy IHOP pancakes; they're quite filling, so 2 is the perfect amount to satisfy me. My wife ordered the Cinnamon Bun Crepes, which are 2 crepes stuffed with cheesecake mousse, topped with cinnamon bun filling, cream cheese icing, fresh strawberries, and powdered sugar. There's plenty of parking available at this location. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone knows IHOP and has probably eaten there, but if you haven't, I highly recommend giving it a try.

T-Bone steak. Absolutely horrible.
Stephen F.

Well... I should have stuck with a traditional breakfast but the photo of the T-bone steak looked really good. Reality set in immediately when it arrived. It looked horrible and it tasted worse. The eggs were fine, and of course the pancakes were typical pancakes. Do not take a chance and order the steak. The guy who brought the steak out was embarrassed and the waitress immediately offered to get me another one. I declined. Let's stick with bacon. She was great and brought me some bacon and was very apologetic. Super nice. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delivered timely. I'll post a photo of the T-Bone steak.

juicy inside, crispy outside, perfect coconut shrimp

I was impressed with the service and the friendly staff. Food in general is good, although one time I had smelly fish. last time I ordered coconut shrimp and they were excellent, juicy inside and crispy outside, not greasy. It is definitely a better choice than nearby Village Inn, in terms of variety and portion.

Hubby & I love IHOP. We went today because I've been wanting to try their new Eggs Benedicts. I ordered the Spicy Poblano Eggs Benedict, which was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached! Hubby ordered the Cinnastack Pancakes w/ eggs over hard, bacon & hash browns. He also ordered a full order of biscuits & gravy, which were delicious! I love the coffee at IHOP. Service has always been good. The lady who seated us seemed a little grumpy but we only had a 5 sec encounter with her so that's no biggie. Our waitress was super nice & service was fast. We've been to this IHOP several times, and we've have always had a good experience & good food. The bathrooms are also surprisingly clean. This is a fairly new restaurant though. I also didn't realize that this IHOP is now open 24/7!! WOOHOOOOO!!!! They used to only be open until 11pm. We'll definitely come here more often for 4th meal. :) I can't wait to try their Bourbon Bacon Jam Bennies!

I'm glad I live near this IHOP location because I've never been disappointed! Liz or Bette usually take care of me and make sure my order is perfect. The manager is usually in the vicinity just to make sure everything is running smoothly. This is my Sunday morning ritual.

This chain restaurant is a new location in south Riverview. Stopped in for brunch with my wife at about 2pm. Place was busy, but not crowded. There was an hour wait earlier in the day. The food and service was very good. We had a very nice young lady server named Crystal. She was personable and brought out our order quickly. Everything was as ordered, and tasted as expected. She checked on us several times. The restaurant is new and clean. Plenty of parking is available. They have a large menu of breakfast and lunch items and combos. We had a pancake combo with flavored pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon or sausage. I love the combos because you get to taste a few items. Tip; Visit after 2pm when it is not crowded. Bring your patience in the mornings and on the weekends.

New Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, Protein Pancakes - Strawberry Banana, Coffee & Hot Chocolate

Great location, located on US 301 and a good big plaza, with plenty of parking. Came in at around 12 pm and it was pretty packed but we were seated right away. The server was very attentive, quick, and friendly. I ordered the new Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Brew, it was decent and tasted like boxed iced coffee with some foam on top. For food, I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with fries and the strawberry banana protein pancakes. Both items were great, came fast, and tasted fresh. The only complaint I have is the side of fries, they seemed stale and were a bit cold, and not crispy at all. Other than that great location, good cheap food, and fast friendly service.

Have tried this location a couple times and once again they staff seems to be preoccupied. I shouldn't expect that much from ihop but just thought it would be nice to be recognized when you come in but the employee up front even gave us the cold shoulder. Too bad that I gave this impression and the good hadn't even arrived.

5 dollar all you can eat pancakes are back! (For a limited time)

I'm old enough to remember how scarce an International House Of Pancakes was. Back then, they had gigantic plate sized pancakes that took forever to be served. Well franchisers gonna franchise & all in all this location is one of the better ones. I always find the service , here, to be good & the pancakes great. Sometimes the spinach omelettes can be questionable but they pass. My biggest ding is that it can be quite crowded but they don't control that. Yes, their A/C game is strong but that is a plus in my book. Frankly I wish there were more sit-down restaurants of this caliber in Riverview. 4-stars.

Crispy hash browns??? and pancakes (uncooked pancake batter)???
Sarah M.

IHOP - International House of Pancakes. Ordered a breakfast with 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage and hash browns. This is a photo of the 2nd order of pancakes that I was served. The 1st order looked even worse! Pancakes had a browned top layer that lifted off with the inside looking like uncooked batter. I ordered extra crispy hash browns. Just like the pancakes, the top layer was browned but the rest of the hash browns were undercooked. It's been a while since I'd been to an IHOP but after this recent experience, I don't think I'll ever go back to the Riverview IHOP.

Poblano Omelet with avocado slices added. Very flavorful.
Natashia S.

Ihop has some new items on their menu like savory and sweet crepes. I tried the lemon ricotta crepe, it was ok. The crepe is really thin. The poblano crepe is good though! I added the avocado. Pretty yummy.

The restaurant was very clean and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe, making it the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a great breakfast. I ordered the Lumberjack, and everything came out great. The eggs were cooked perfectly and placed on top of the mashed potatoes--not cooked together--but honestly, it still worked really well and tasted amazing. One thing I really liked is that you can sub the biscuit for French toast or pancakes. I chose the French toast, but the Lumberjack is so much food that it was honestly hard to even get to it . Everything was delicious, and I'd give this place a 10 out of 10--I'll definitely be back. Shoutout to our waitress Sienna, who was absolutely amazing. She was super friendly, recommended a bunch of great options, and made deciding easy. She checked on us often and even brought out a new syrup they make for us to try, which was so good. Patty's are also frozen from a box and a traditional smash burger is paper thin- not 1/2 thick. And it was not fresh- definitely a frozen patty. Please consider supporting this business expansion so that it remains available to us. This does not appear to be an experiment to see how it goes. All of the signs, including outdoor signs, have been updated or replaced to announce that the business is open for dinner. The dining room is too bright. I suggested to server, who passed my comment on, that they should figure out how to dim the lights or turn some of them off. Speaking of the server, she was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. Too much for us, anyway. I had the fried shrimp platter and the $13.95 price included the shrimp, french fries, sauteed green beans and a really nice dinner salad. Joanne had the chicken salad croissant sandwich. She really liked her sandwich. I liked my dinner but being candid, I would be surprised if the shrimp were breaded in house as opposed to prepared and frozen by the purveyor. I will try something different next time or will have the shrimp grilled. Portions were plentiful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience. Based on the food, the location and the prices, we are certainly happy to support Eggtown for dinner.
