My daughters and I just came back from a long trip and were starving. Thankfully, IHOP was open late, the only spot nearby me where we could get something to eat late. We can never get enough of their chicken and waffles, and this time was no exception. My younger daughter also tried their new watermelonade drink and absolutely loved it. I've been craving some IHOP for a couple of weeks now. They offer fantastic specials for just $6.00 that you can't pass up. The Breakfast Faves Combo, Ham & Cheese Omelette, French Toast Breakfast, and House Scramble are all great options. I usually opt for the Breakfast Faves Combo, which includes 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and your choice of 2 bacon or 2 sausages. Considering how pricey breakfast can be these days, this is a steal. I really enjoy IHOP pancakes; they're quite filling, so 2 is the perfect amount to satisfy me. My wife ordered the Cinnamon Bun Crepes, which are 2 crepes stuffed with cheesecake mousse, topped with cinnamon bun filling, cream cheese icing, fresh strawberries, and powdered sugar. There's plenty of parking available at this location. The staff was friendly and attentive. Well... I should have stuck with a traditional breakfast but the photo of the T-bone steak looked really good. Reality set in immediately when it arrived. It looked horrible and it tasted worse. The eggs were fine, and of course the pancakes were typical pancakes. Do not take a chance and order the steak. The guy who brought the steak out was embarrassed and the waitress immediately offered to get me another one. I declined. Let's stick with bacon. She was great and brought me some bacon and was very apologetic. Super nice. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food was delivered timely. Hubby & I love IHOP. We went today because I've been wanting to try their new Eggs Benedicts. I ordered the Spicy Poblano Eggs Benedict, which was delicious! The eggs were perfectly poached! Hubby ordered the Cinnastack Pancakes w/ eggs over hard, bacon & hash browns. He also ordered a full order of biscuits & gravy, which were delicious! I love the coffee at IHOP. Service has always been good. The lady who seated us seemed a little grumpy but we only had a 5 sec encounter with her so that's no biggie. Our waitress was super nice & service was fast. We've been to this IHOP several times, and we've have always had a good experience & good food. The bathrooms are also surprisingly clean. This is a fairly new restaurant though. I also didn't realize that this IHOP is now open 24/7!! WOOHOOOOO!!!! They used to only be open until 11pm. This chain restaurant is a new location in south Riverview. Stopped in for brunch with my wife at about 2pm. Place was busy, but not crowded. There was an hour wait earlier in the day. The food and service was very good. We had a very nice young lady server named Crystal. She was personable and brought out our order quickly. Everything was as ordered, and tasted as expected. She checked on us several times. The restaurant is new and clean. Plenty of parking is available. They have a large menu of breakfast and lunch items and combos. We had a pancake combo with flavored pancakes, eggs, hash browns, and bacon or sausage. I love the combos because you get to taste a few items. Tip; Visit after 2pm when it is not crowded. Bring your patience in the mornings and on the weekends. read more

Great location, located on US 301 and a good big plaza, with plenty of parking. Came in at around 12 pm and it was pretty packed but we were seated right away. The server was very attentive, quick, and friendly. I ordered the new Vanilla Creamy Cold Foam Brew, it was decent and tasted like boxed iced coffee with some foam on top. For food, I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with fries and the strawberry banana protein pancakes. Both items were great, came fast, and tasted fresh. The only complaint I have is the side of fries, they seemed stale and were a bit cold, and not crispy at all. Other than that great location, good cheap food, and fast friendly service. read more

You wanna talk about disappointing? I stopped here for the first time because my doctor's office is right around the corner and my son and I had breakfast. Was kind of iffy about the demeanor of the server but I proceeded to place an order. Upon receiving my meal, I took a bite of my pancakes.... my son said what's wrong? Who in their right mind would want pancakes to go that wouldn't be good when you got them home anyway? Not once did she offer to adjust the check or anything which made me even more perturbed. You really think that you can give me some uncooked pancakes with dough that could possibly make me sick and yet I wanna trust you to make me some to take home when they should've been fully cooked the first time. But I told my son see this is the classic case of treating others the way you wanna be treated she could've handled this differently. The 1st order looked even worse! Pancakes had a browned top layer that lifted off with the inside looking like uncooked batter. I ordered extra crispy hash browns. Just like the pancakes, the top layer was browned but the rest of the hash browns were undercooked. Stopped into this new IHOP for brunch with hubby. I had never been in this particular ihop before today. Upon our arrival we were seated right away. I didn't find the hostess particularly friendly. She mumbled some words to us as she showed us to our table. As we sat down our very sweet server Crystal approached our table. Crystal took our order and was pleasant and had a smile on. She told us we missed the rush as there was a line earlier and it was extremely crowded. We told her it was probably because the schools were off. I love IHOP but unfortunately this morning, 4/21/2023 the IHOP on U.S. Hwy 301, Riverview, FL left a lot to be desired. The place was freezing, the coffee was extra extra strong, and our meal, due to the freezing temp in the restaurant was not hot, basically not even warm. It is unfortunate that happened and when we were seated and my husband complained about the cold, our waitress said, "well you are sitting in the back of the restaurant and this is the coldest spot in the place." I feel she should have asked us if we would like to move to a different spot. When we left my husband told the person up front about the dilemma and she just said "OK". Well it is not ok. Wife and I went this afternoon. Ordered burger & fries/onion rings. We arrived around 3:30. Not very busy. Food was ok, average at best. However, the staff were acting very unprofessional. The table across from us had about 4-6 employees folding flatware in napkins, others flirting with each other, one guy arguing about something with one of the women, one male server kissed our male server on the neck in an expression of affection. One of the cooks came out asking loudly where his dishwasher went. I'm all about giving everyone an opportunity to work, but it seemed like most were from an early release program. We were able to order, eat, and leave with 5 minutes to spare to get to our appointment at 10. The service was excellent, the coffee was fresh and robust, and the pancakes were the best! The WORST service we have ever received eating out. Right away we noticed our waitress was extremely high.. that should have been the warning to leave but we were starving so we stayed..wrong choice. We then ordered and when the food came out, our waitress spilled my husbands eggs all over the floor and it didn't even phase her. We were seated and when I leaned on the table I immediately pulled back as the syrup from the last customer coated my forearms and shirt. When the waitress came out I asked her to please clean the table, and with an attitude told me she already had, but would do it again. I looked up as she headed toward the kitchen and caught the managers eye and called him over. His excuse was, we've just recently opened and we are still training our staff! (Cleanliness is not an option, especially in today's world!) Then the waitress returned and scolded me for calling the Manager over, stating, " I told you I'd clean it again!" She proceeded to wipe off a small area in the middle of the table, not even approaching the syrup and crumbs on the rest of the table. I asked her to please clean the entire table while I excused myself to go wash the syrup off my arms, (after she'd offered me the dirty dish rag to clean my arms off.) I love their buttermilk pancakes. No other diner can come close. The rest of breakfast food is same as other places. I choose to just use the whipped butter.
