All star at the Waffle House

Very loud on a Monday morning, probably because the number of crew members was higher than the number of customers. Two were in training - one cook and one waiter. So it was not as good as experience as I would have liked even for a WH. Fortunately, I wasn't dealing with the trainee so my waitress got my order ("All-star, eggs over medium, city ham, hash browns with cheese, wheat toast dry") easily and she kept the coffee flowing. Plenty of parking as they share the lot with a local motel and there are several truck repair/sale spots nearby.

I've been coming here on and off for three years. I love waffle House. Always great food and good service. But apparently now it costs to get extra syrup. A lot has definitely changed in a year. First waffle House that has ever charged for some extra syrup.

    They cook fast and efficient

Nice, inexpensive breakfast... Just a bit loud. Servers are attentive. The tables and benches are clean.

Service was exceptional, very attentive, friendly and they even gave a card to my sister in law and her husband. Definitely very sweet. Ambience is amazing, modern, romantic and chic. Unfortunately no valet parking, so parking is a little bit of an issue. You have to park on the street around the restaurant and area is not super safe. We had some mocktails that were good. Definitely a great tasting and unique. Roasted golden beets were great, tortellini were amazing, yakitori chicken was exceptional. I think our favorite was garbanzo croquettes. Definitely a great place to be. The quality and creativity is amazing, I think it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay.

We ordered, happy hour wine, a happy hour old-fashioned, the gnocchi, tuna, tartare, and charcuterie on happy hour. These happy hour dishes are $10. Off the happy hour menu we ordered a zucchini dish that was highly recommended. All food was the kind that you take small bits and savor each slowly. All very good. The happy hour portions are very small, but the zucchini was a decent size. I do look forward to going back. The bartenders and servers seem very excited about their jobs and generally love where they work.

Got the farmer's omelet this time and it didn't disappoint. The omelet was cooked to perfection, the biscuit and gravy was creamy and less dry than the last one experience. Potatoes you could tell were freshly made and nicely seasoned. The best part was definitely the service though. The waitresses bust their tails giving everyone including those taking out the best service. Made sure to offer plenty of ketchup and hot sauce with my order. Though the place seems small it's in a good location and the Belgian waffle sundaes I saw were definitely something I want to try next time. Stop in if Tripp's is too busy and you're in the sulfur springs area of Tampa.

The place could use a good cleaning as the floors are nasty with food and debris and the tables greasy and sticky. Left $10.00 for the two drinks which we weren't even sure the glasses were clean.
