We had a great meal this past Friday. The service was also very good. I hadn't been to an IHOP in a long time. The atmosphere at the new one is very nice. We had breakfast for dinner. It's something we all do every now & then. Mom had the 55+ Breakfast Sampler which had 1 egg, 1 strip of bacon, 1 sausage link, 1 piece of ham, 1 pancake, and hash browns or grits. She was super happy. The egg was over easy just like she likes it. They have 4 different syrups to choose from on the table. The grits and pancake were both served with a generous amount of butter. She ate almost everything which made me very happy. I had the build your own pancake combo which included 2 eggs, 2 pancakes (of your choice), bacon or sausage, and hash browns or grits. I chose the blueberry pancakes. It was like having my own dessert included in the meal. They topped it with a blueberry pie filling (not really a compote) and whipped cream. It was delicious! My eggs were also cooked perfectly. I think the only negative were the grits. They were a little clumpy, but it didn't affect the overall taste. It just wasn't all that creamy. I was even more impressed when we got the bill. It was only $15 for the 2 of us. Okay, so I had water and she had coffee. It would still be under $20 with a soft drink. That's still extremely reasonable. I give it 4 starts just for that. We'll be back for dinner again soon. read more

This chain, who holds itself out as a "premiere pancake restaurant" served overcooked pancakes that broke apart at first contact with a fork. For your local greasy spoon, this may be understandable if not forgivable, but not for an IHOP. The eggs were overcooked as well so this made the visit regrettable. The Star attraction on the outside billboard and the menu is a chicken dish: looked tasty, taters were good . Cutting into the meat it is raw and frozen #cooking chicken 101. So I try the pot roast, looks good on the menu. The beef was swimming in a BP Oil spill. It was 50W motor oil mixed with flour and strings of onions. Tired out the new IHOP. Can never go wrong with a trusty IHOP breakfast. Overall I was pleased with the service and food. Got seated quickly. Got our food quick. Server was friendly and attentive. I've had many meals at IHOP's and definitely felt the food was much better today then I've had in recent visits. Portion was good, cooked to perfection, everything tasted very fresh and well prepared. However this location loses a star and almost 2 because of the horrible parking situation. Tiny little parking lot for what is going to be a busy location. And 0 option I see for additional parking to be added or even overflow section. I mean heck we went at 9am before the major rush and place was only on a 10 minute wait and it took me more then 10 minutes to find parking. Literally driving around in circles waiting for someone to walk out to car and then having to fight it out like vultures trying to get that spot that just opened. I can't even imagine trying to go at prime breakfast time on a weekend to will likely never find parking. Sadly I don't see much way to improve this parking issue and it can certainly lead to us skipping this spot if hungry and going at a "busy time". read more

In love! I haven't been to an IHOP In years and I was amazed my the personality and service in this place. Celeste is amazing and the Manager as well as the staff are so interactive with every table that I laid my eyes on. They really made you feel at home. Celeste recommended me a new place to try the best strawberries in town she held great convo while working all her tables, she's pro. The Manager I forgot her name but I know she's the Boss she Welcomed In all the guest like family, even the "to go" customers felt the love. A table in front of us had a child the boss put his ketchup on his fries brought his food with excitement. Just watching it would perk anyone up! Staff helped elderly get in her chair. Had breakfast this morning with my nephew. My omelet was over cooked, tough and rubbery. Actually looked a little like naan bread. My nephews bacon was under cooked and his hash browns were a joke. Came in during a less busy time and was met with a smiling hostess and was seated immediately. Of course their were IBOP Burgers on the menu, But it is a breakfast place so that's generally the fair I choose. They can also make the pancakes vegan style per request. Hate to say I'm old, but they have over 55 special and I opted for the breakfast which included a stack of pancakes eggs anyway you want them and either bacon or sausage. I went with scrambled eggs and they were made as if I made them at home. Everything was very good for our entire party. The waitress was very prompt, nice and made several visits to check on us. I always expect IHOP to have the homie diner feel and they didn't disappoint tonight. Because this place is fairly new, the design of everything was totally different compared to the old class IHOP we're used too but the food and service was still the same. Our waiter, Steven was great! Always asked if we needed something and our waters were filled at all times. Out of all of us, my mom's sirloin tips and eggs came a little later than us. They told us they actually fell and had to remake everything again but it still came out faster than we expected. I could tell some of the staff were fairly new but still good nonetheless. We had great service from Jada on the night of 5/22 to 5/23 and the food was delicious. However, the manager of the shift was incredibly unprofessional throughout. A newly opened restaurant, so new you can not register in the rewards club as it does not show up (Get it together guys) On arriving the parking is cramped, some people where parking on an empty lot behind, not sure what they will do when all the building is done at the rear. We waited for 45 minutes to get seated well it was Sunday, limited waiting area so we stood outside lucky it was not raining. The food was an ok standard, i had a breakfast my french toast was a little hard, pancakes OK, eggs not exactly how i asked for them but close enough. my wife had the Chicken Florentine Crepes and they where to die for!! wish i had gone for the same. Server started to clear my plate before i had fully finished dropping a napkin on my soon to be eaten egg oops! We all had to complain about the cutlery which on opening had a white greasy mist color, the waiter bought more which was exactly the same, the next table had the same problem, i raised my concern with the supervisor/manager "we have run out of a liquid in the dish washer" not my concern! Worked night shift and immediately went to do errands with my husband this morning. Both of us had not eaten and have not been able to have breakfast together because of our work schedules we also dont go out to eat often anymore so I looked forward to just being able to sit down and enjoy a good hot meal that I didn't have to make. It was between keke's breakfast or ihop. I chose ihop because i love their flavored swiss mocha coffee with whip cream. Its pretty much the reason why I choose it over other options for breakfast. I was also especially excited because this new ihop location is closer to home and on top of that my best friend and I make it a point to celebrate a friendship anniversary there every year and make sure to kick off our birthdays which is just a few days from each other at ihop.... so this year would be a new location for both of us to celebrate it in. Ihop has been a special place for me but for all the years I've been going to ihop I have never been met with such horrible service and Im not asking to be catered to. I just wanted to order, eat and go. The waiter not very warm or welcoming asked what we want to drink but its fine because hes probably in a rush to get to his other tables....okay...I understand...We tell him the swiss mocha coffee. We order our food....then we wait. The coffee shows up...it appears to be a regular plain coffee and no whip cream....so I ask him when he passes by why it doesn't look like the swiss mocha I usually order and asked him if they just discontinued it for some reason. His response was they never make coffee there with whip cream....ok....thats fine too....I was just sad and confused that all the other ihops i've been to did... so i was afraid maybe they did discontinue it. Instead of responding with im sorry it wasnt what you expected can i get you something else. He goes to to explain why this specific location doesnt do it...and thats fine...."because its corporate and not a franchise location"...I didnt know why it mattered but I was thinking ok....that sucks....but in the middle of all the explaining..he says "did you want me to put whip cream in it. Because I can do that...but personally i think its nasty...who would want that...so you want me to do that" and i guess at least he tried to offer the whip cream that he thought I wanted...but even the coffee didnt look like the regular swiss mocha minus the whip so I didnt even want the whip cream knowing it wouldnt taste the same either way and was fine drinking the regular coffee they had. but his tone of voice and the comments he made were unnecessary and just plain rude.I thought initially that he was just feeling rushed and that was why he didnt seem so friendly but after having that conversation it was clear he didnt like us and i didnt know why....observing and listening to how he interacted with other tables around us..i felt there was a difference with the way we were being spoken to...so it wasnt that he wasnt capable of showing care and kindness in his voice because i could hear it when he spoke to others just not to us. And by realizing this...i just suddenly didnt have an appetite and i didnt want to be unreasonable so I ask my husband if im getting upset for no reason. Maybe im imagining it....maybe im just tired from being awake all night and maybe i misunderstood him somehow. But my husband confirmed that he was being rude. So i sit there silently...thinking ok well let me just eat my food...but anger wells up inside me and I start to cry... silently of course..i just couldnt help it and i guess im not strong enough to hold my emotions in so my husband tells me he will just ask if we could have our check and a to go box. By this time im already in fear that he would come back to our table with another rude comment so im pleading him to not ask for a box because im thinking maybe even that would be too much trouble for this person and I just wanted to leave in peace. But miraculously maybe after seeing me cry it might have made his heart return to him because he suddenly showed concern and asked me if i was okay and he even seemed to care. I dont want to exaggerate the situation....all he had to do was treat us just like he treated everyone else. Maybe he thought we were homeless so he could treat us like the trash he thought we were because our hair was disheaveled....my husbands from rolling out of bed and mine from being too tired to care. Nevertheless you should always treat people the way you want to be treated. Common courtesy and respect is all that was needed. I didnt need my favorite drink even though that would have been nice. As much as i want to forgive and forget I do regret still insisting to my husband to give him a tip because I dont know that he realized how rude he was. I want to suck it up and go back to give this location another chance but its not worth going back to. read more

Came here for breakfast one day. It's a new location (open about 1 month), and very convenient. It was crowded and extremely noisy. The noise is very distracting; then I noticed no sound proofing materials in construction except for the standard drop-in ceiling tiles. My wife could barely stand eating breakfast simply because of the noise. We did have four in our party - 3 adults and a child. The child meal consisting of sausage, pancake, and egg was apparently acceptable and portions were adequate. The adult meals were blase, standard fare pancakes, eggs, bacon type offerings. None of the items was particularly tasty or worth a second trip. The bacon was somewhat flavorless and small. The same could be said of hashbrowns, eggs, and pancakes that were consumed. Nothing tasted good enough to suggest anyone should bother coming back again. Pricing of items was somewhat in line with other restaurants, but perhaps a little cheaper than some in our particular area of town. Our waitress was friendly and observant; no complaints there. The seating was extremely crowded. Just too many people and cars in a lot of this size. All in all, a very forgettable and non-memorable experience. read more
