I noticed the Leader helping his team pick up the spill: welcoming guests, and a little wait in the lobby. The IHOP parking lot was clean, and the front door was sparkling clean. Just don't do it. You think you know what you are in for and then bam, IHOP surprises you. First they sat us in an area under a leaking vent. Then once we got our food and had the initial "how is everything" we didn't see our server until the bill came, then I couldn't find her in order to pay the bill. The food was not good, everything was bland and just gross. Skip it and just cook at home or drive down the road to something else. read more

The service was poor she didn't come back and check on us till pretty much right at the very end and then left when I told her that the food was horrible and it was cold. She acted like I was joking and she said oh you're serious. The worst service ever. They only gave us a fork. Rolls and no plate to put them on. Did not fill the orders as we gave them. Carrots were awful. I was a bit skeptical about using their app and ordering on-line. Rarely do I try something like ordering at 730a on a Sunday morning. The app loaded easily, I created a profile, easily viewed the menu and placed my order and boom! Much easier than I thought. When I showed up @ 730a, it was there waiting for me. It was interesting because the hostess lady said " now be sure and check your order and make sure everything is there" Wow, I did and it was! They don't have the curb side service but they do offer the delivery option. They are observing all the COVID guidelines and it all seems very safe. Oh yeah, the food was good too! My second time here. Food was okay; I asked for crispy bacon and got greasy, limp bacon. Service was lacking. First: they gave me dirty silverware, though it was wrapped in a clean napkin like the rest. How did completely used and dirty silverware get wrapped up like clean ones? I think it was the manager who happened to walk by and made sure I received clean silverware. My server, Anthony, was nice, and it was busy for a rainy day 3 days before Christmas, but he was initially distracted. I asked for more sugar and he didn't get it for me till my food arrived and I reminded him of it. Then he was a little more attentive. Also, when I asked for their butter pecan syrup, he gave it to me in two to-go cups rather than just give me one of their carafes of syrup. I suspect it was the herd of servers and hosts bunched up at the front who gave me attitude as I left who thought it would be funny to give me dirty silverware. I'd give Anthony another chance, but I see from other reviews that others have had trouble with the staff at this location. Definitely I would not trust this obnoxious crew (manager & Anthony were reasonable) and probably won't be coming back for a while if at all. read more

This is the best run IHOP ever! We come here very often on our way home from church. As you can imagine, they are always packed on Sunday mornings, yet we never wait longer than 10-15 minutes. The food comes quickly, the servers are pleasant, the food is hot and consistently good. Really, what more can you ask from a breakfast place? The guy who is always here managing on Sunday mornings seems to really be an excellent manager who knows how to run the business well. read more

I went to IHOP after having sorry service at Salsarita's in Rock Hill, SC. The customer treatment was much nicer! The waitress came up and gave us our drinks and even gave us extra time to look at the menu. She took our order and she even refilled the drinks and even gave me a to go cup for my drinks! Definitely the 5 star treatment and also the food was fresh and worth the price paid. I don't know why IHOP is 3 stars instead of 5. Maybe they had a terrible employee(s) and got rid of them after those reviews. I don't know but the entire place had friendly employees. They certainly know what customer service is all about. When food came 3 out of 4 orders where incomplete or wrong.. Waitress blamed covid and left, didn't come back to fix, when we persist about problems , she reluctantly corrected the missing items.. I realize that covid has put a strain on businesses, but to expect people to pay and not receive all their food, is not OK.. Maybe the problem was that they were standing room only.. I do not know.. I-Hop spends a lot of money on advertising and commercial space and yet they are missing the target by miles. In my opinion you make more money with great customer service and wonderful food. Went for a mom's breakfast with my cousin and we were so excited to celebrate my birthday... unfortunately we were greeted with the not so great attitude of Kayla, our waitress. We figured it was just a stressful day for her and ignored the initial attitude. We placed our order for drinks and for the hot chocolates that I order I simply asked for creamer on the side and she voluntarily called the manager over to see if we were allowed to have creamer or milk with our hot chocolate...After receiving our hot chocolates we ordered very simple menu items and two kid menu items (plates) and she had tried to tell me I couldn't use of choose my birthday pancakes, she voluntarily called a manager over AGAIN asking if it was allowed for us to use the birthday coupon and for us to choose what pancake stack...(I had ordered a strawberry pancake stack and 2x2x2 separately so there wasn't confusion..)..the manager was visually getting frustrated with her as well because she's already called him over twice and he's just confirming "yes, they can/yep, they're correct". At this point we assume that she's training or something so we give her the benefit of the doubt and avoid asking for anything else (not like she checked on our table or anything) after we finish our food we simply asked for boxes and the checks... she already had combine the checks and there was an issue with my discount... she LITERALLY argued with us saying that the discount was already taken off when we could clearly see no subtracted rate for the coupon on the receipt. Kept repeating "yes you did, yes you did" with a horrible attitude while we were asking her to show us where the discount was applied...she then called The manager and two other waitresses only to result in them all seeing that it wasn't applied....so she changed it but we will most likely never go back to this location if that will be the quality of service. read more

This IHOP has been through a lot. The new interior was definitely a step up and it was long past the need for a makeover. I love "Brinner", as we used to call it. Breakfast for dinner is always a nice change and IHOP makes it happen, quick and in a hurry. The wait staff is sure to bring the food out in a timely fashion too. That's one challenge with breakfast, most of the items don't hold heat well. One complaint that is common among all IHOPs, the scrambled eggs are ALWAYS dry. I know they use eggs from a carton but there has to be something they can do to keep from making them so bleh. I will admit, I still order them knowing I'll be slightly disappointed, but that's the only way I like my eggs. Otherwise, I love that there are rotating specials and the staff at this location are usually quite nice. Not a bad solution for fast and affordable food. I have been to IHOP a few times in the past few months as I have friends who really enjoy going. As for me, I'm not crazy about it. I'll go if everyone else is, but I'm personally not wowed by their food. As a big breakfast/carb fan I usually side with pancakes (we are at the International House or Pancakes after all) and they just aren't that great. They will fill you up at least! My sister and I came here to eat tonight. Our waitress who's name I believe was Jaden B I'm not sure but she has pretty red curly hair and a sweet smile. My family and I have been going through a hard times for a while now. Especially since we just lost a loved one very close to us. Sometimes in your darkness moments it feels like God isn't there. I was praying to him last night asking him to please give me a sign that he was still here. Well tonight I received that sign. She left a very sweet note on our receipt that said "Thank you, I enjoyed seeing y'all. Stay strong. God is on your sides. He has many blessings coming your way". Went in for my "free stack of pancakes" for my birthday. It wasn't a stack, it was one pancake that wasn't cooked long enough and had sweet sauce and whipped cream and sprinkles...not was we expected. And the quality of the pancakes was terrible. And the waitress didn't even give us silverware until we asked for it. Because the pancakes were more wimpy than expected, we also got the stuffed French toast. It was good, not not nearly as good as I remember. All in all, service was terrible and the food was definitely sub par! read more

He was cooking while on his cellphone the entire time! The food was horrible and we end up sending one dish back! Which they suggested- we will cook it over which turned into a reheat!! Awful and when we asked for the manager- he refused to believe that the cook was on his cellphone- not washing his hands and touching/talking on his nasty cellphone- while cooking!!! Very popular spot in Rock Hill, I can always count on IHOP to provide good food in a prompt fashion. Even though it was packed on a Saturday morning and I had to circle the parking lot twice to find a space, I was greeted and states as soon as I walked in the door. Michelle was all smiles and provided attentive service even though I was redeeming my free birthday breakfast. (If you sign up to IHOP's e-club you get a free breakfast on your birthday and anniversary of signing up). I tried the strawberry splasher drink which is a combo of orange juice, lemon lime soda and strawberries. Its pretty good and definitely different. It has free refills while a glass of straight O.J. isn't free to refill. Definitely recommend. Clean and friendly. read more
