Classic Eggs Benedict with hashbrown
Tara K.

First time at this location. Around 11 am on Friday, for brunch, we were greeted by 2 ladies at the podium, very pleasant and welcoming. Restaurant appeared clean, and bright. Server was very friendly. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with hashbrowns and a side of sausage. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict, perfectly cooked, although the hollandaise was broken and tasted slightly sour & tart, perhaps too much lemon. I always enjoy the sausage links. I did not care for the hashbrowns. They were nicely crisp on top, but a mushy, raw-like mess underneath. (Side note, I had an unsweetened, fresh brewed iced tea, which was very good.) My husband ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with country gravy, which came with a side, he chose a waffle. He also ordered a side of bacon and a side of fries. The sandwich was a nice size. He liked the country gravy, and the bacon was nicely crisp. Fries were basic, fried golden. The waffle was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and delicious! A nice overall experience.

It was a crisp Wednesday morning and we decided to wake up and go to ihop!! It had been i think years since we've been, so we definitely forgot what it's like. I feel like i hop has a bad rep for some reason but this meal really proved them wrong. the chefs really know how to cook a smoking omelette! it was so very delicious. every bite came with perfect amount of vegetables, eggs and cheese. the side of savory potato pancake with some tomato sauce aided the omelette so well! And as we finished every bite of those two tasty foods, we washed it down with the mouthwatering dulce de leches pancake. WHY does everyone in the world not get this pancake flavor??? I would seriously eat the dulce pancakes every morning for breakfast if i wasn't predisposed to diabetes through my family genetics. thx family. but as you can see, we wiped the plates clean. that's how surprisingly good we thought this meal at Ihop in Ronkomkoma was! good job to the service team and chefs!!

Hands down the best chain brunch place in this area. My go to for brunch with extensive menu. Extremely fluffy pancakes and cheesy omelette. Sooo good!

Unfortunately they brought out a burger instead of my daughter's chicken fingers along with my other child's Mac and cheese and we told them it was wrong. My poor child was starving while everyone else's food came out already and she had to wait for hers but luckily we had some fries for her from our dish to share. I got a French onion soup and you can see it was a bit burnt on top. The soup was too salty and I couldn't take more than 3 sips. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich and I liked my cobb salad. I absolutely adore this spacious garage themed eatery. Bright colors, vintage pictures and signs and actual cars! The Honey and I had dinner here on Sunday, April 12th, 2026. We were in the area and decided to check it out. We were seated promptly and our server James greeted us warmly when he arrived at our table. The Honey had the meatloaf entree with two sides and I opted for the Ahi Tuna Bowl. Both meals were absolutely delicious! My bowl was bursting with lettuce, cabbage, avocado, wonton strips and the salad dressing just pulled everything together! We were satisfied but still craved dessert. James suggested the homemade Key Lime pie....he said the company was Florida based. He did say all the desserts were good but, if you like Key Lime we needed to try it. That pie was the creamiest, Key Lime I've ever had!! And the graham cracker crust? (Chef's Kiss) What a fun, laid back place to enjoy some good food with family and friends! Horrible experience! First and last time going here…read more I went with my family. My mom was attracted to the restaurant because of the decor outside and everything. We sat down at our table and were given menus. We didn't even get the chance to look them over before getting asked what we were going to order. After a couple of minutes, we finally did order. For our appetizer, we ordered the BBQ Ford's Classic Wings. The wings were delicious, nicely seasoned, and the ranch paired nicely with them. The wings were saucy and kinda messy--and we didn't have any napkins around us. The waiter eventually came to our table and we asked him for napkins. He came back with some blue rags--I get it, it's part of the whole restaurant theme and everything. For our entrees, my sister ordered the Salmon with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a side of Ford's Fries. My dad ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs with a side of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Lastly, my mom ordered the Beer-Battered Fish N' Chips with a side of fries. After putting in our order, the waiter came back and said they were out of ribs--my dad switched to the Grilled Sirloin Steak, with the same sides of mashed potatoes and coleslaw. After about 30 minutes, we received our dishes. We weren't able to eat because we didn't have any utensils at the table. We asked the waiter for utensils and waited around 5-10 minutes for them. It seemed like he had forgotten to bring them to our table. We had also ordered more ranch and barbecue sauce. After a couple of minutes, the waiter came to give us our utensils; he also cleared the plates we had used for our appetizer. My dish was a chicken sandwich, and the bread had a stamped logo of the restaurant name. My mom had the fried fish, which looked really big. My dad noticed that instead of coleslaw for one of his sides, he was given broccoli. He decided not to say anything and just eat it. We began eating our meals. My mom cut into her fish and immediately noticed something was wrong. Her fish was undercooked, and she couldn't even eat or look at it. My chicken sandwich wasn't hot or warm at all, and in my opinion, was flavorless. My mom only ate the fries from her plate--refusing to eat the undercooked fish. My dad ate his dish and it was fine--other than having the wrong side. My sister ate her dish, and there was nothing wrong with it at first. We waited and waited for the waiter to come by, which felt like forever. He eventually came by and dropped off the sauces we had asked for earlier, and my sister told him about our mom's dish. He took the dish away and we patiently waited. At this point, I had lost my appetite and could not continue eating. My sister was still eating--as she ate her mashed potatoes, she found a hair in them. I told her not to move it or take it out, and to leave it in the dish. A couple of minutes later, what seemed to be the manager of the restaurant came to our table asking about the undercooked fish. In addition to the fish, I mentioned how my sister had just found a hair in her mashed potatoes. Both my mom and sister explained everything to him. He offered to cook another fish for my mom, but she said no. He continued and continued to offer, asking my sister and mom if they wanted any other dish--they said no. He then said the two dishes would be taken off our tab. He continued to offer us food; this time, he offered anything off the dessert menu. We politely declined and just asked for the check. He then took my sister's dish away. Shortly after, the check came to the table. What is worse than the terrible food? The prices! Given that two dishes were taken off our tab, we were only paying for our appetizer, drinks, and two dishes. The food was not worth even half the amount of money we paid. After leaving the restaurant, I went on Yelp and looked at the reviews--which I should've done much earlier. I saw a lot of reviews about bad service and one or two reviews about people feeling sick after eating at the restaurant. My only hope is that my family and I don't get sick. Overall, it was a horrible experience: bad service, bad food, and bad prices. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Save your money!!!

This place would get a 3.5, but I'm rounding down for reasons I will say in the review…read more I started off by seeing this place by searching for fish and chips. Seeing they had a Wednesday special, I decided to put off my adventure from Roslyn to Ronkonkoma from Monday to Wednesday. I also found a bunch of things I was interested in to pad my experience and make the drive worth it. The waitress came quickly, got our drink orders, took a few minutes, and we started our order. I started off by getting the Fire Island Fries, the Flanagan's Nachos minus Jalapenos and Chipotle Ranch, sub the chicken in, the Fish and Chips special with additional pay for French Onion Soup and Curry sauce, and my friend got the Penne Alla Vodka add chicken. I asked how the Mozzarella sticks were and she said they were very popular so I got those as well. We'll start with my addition. The mozzarella sticks are good. Fried properly, not raw, not burnt, you get I believe 9 in an order. I greatly enjoyed them, however I would never pay more than a buck for a small brick of cheese. They were great, but not that great. The nachos were very barebones, something getting them at full capacity wouldn't have done much for. The queso is gross, and put me off from eating too much. The avocado was a single, sliced avocado which is fine, but pretty hard to eat with chips. The chicken was a bit of an issue, not tasting great. The fire island fries were good, I enjoyed the flavor change, but I feel like some cheddar would have made them from "good" to "amazing". Adding cheddar to my leftovers later confirmed that. The french onion soup was the shiniest turd I've had the experience of eating. It is the best of the worst, in every way. The cheese tastes a bit off, the broth did't have much flavor or salt, the onions were sour, and overall it looks tremendous, proper quality, but tasted like I was eating expired progresso with some sour cheese melted over it. I love proper French Onion soup, but this was very difficult to force myself to eat. The penne alla vodka was fine, but they could have added more salt, it just felt a little bland. The chicken was hard and dry. It didn't work with the dish itself, it felt like eating two different things at once, neither of them tasting as good as they should. The fish and chips were the real star. The fish was as crunchy as you expect, the chips were proper chips. The curry was hot but delicious, everything was absolutely fantastic. If I was reviewing on the fish and chips alone, this place would absolutely get five dtars. But they need to work on the other areas of their menu, they're heavily dragging this place down. I also got the donut with ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. A donut from dunkin would have been better in my opinion, and you would save $10 assembling everything yourself. Finally, the service. It was very here and there. At first, we were getting checked up on often, but at the end, there was a good 20 minute stint where they wouldn't show up at our table and we had to flag them over to get our check. I'm not rating this against them, but I would have liked a little more observation. It was a one and done place, with excellent fish and chips this side of the pond. If I was closer, this would be a Wednesday night thing, but I'm too far to justify that.

Been here forever for a reason, I'd say…read more You already know what it is, Irish sports bar with a great, time tested staff, good food, and a bunch of brews. AWFUL SERVICE -- EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING…read more My family and I dined at Ruth's Chris to celebrate my brother's birthday and the experience was terrible from start to finish, primarily due to our waitress, Michelle. Michelle was not attentive, warm, or polite at any point during our meal. Two of our steaks were cooked incorrectly. When we brought this to her attention, she said she could have them remade, but that we would need to take them to go because it would take a while. That response was shocking. Why would anyone want their freshly remade steak boxed up when they are dining in and paying premium prices? On top of that, Michelle never asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I had to get up from the table mid-meal to inform the manager that it was my brother's birthday and request a dessert with a candle. To make matters worse, my mom's meal included a complimentary dessert, and Michelle never once asked which dessert she wanted or offered any options. Later, when Michelle came to clear the table and asked if we were ready for the check, we said yes--assuming she would bring the birthday dessert to the table and then the check. Instead, she returned with the check and the birthday dessert in a TO-GO BAG. Completely absurd. In what world does a server package a birthday surprise to go when guests clearly came in to celebrate? It was thoughtless, careless, and ruined what should have been a special moment. Ruth's Chris is known for fine dining and high standards, but this experience did not reflect that at all. Management seriously needs to address Michelle's service. 0/5 stars. Would not recommend based on this experience.
