We were looking for lunch and we were in a new area, so we decided to stop at IHOP. Not expecting much but the experience was good overall. We were seated right away, and our waitress took our order quickly. Looking around the restaurant it shows that this place needs some help and a definite refresh! Biggest complaint was the water dripping around the restaurant from the ceiling, mostly condensation from the HVAC but it was very unsightly. We did receive our food rather quickly and with a smile, I got the 2x2x2 breakfast with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Food waas all cooked well but seemed like box eggs... My wife got the classic burger and some fruit salad. She said the burger was cooked well but very bland... the fruit was nice and refreshing though. All in all, a good visit. WORST service EVER......!! We are probably not coming here again. We sat at our table for 40 minutes. I checked the time when we arrived and when we left. We asked the waiter what the hold up was on the food order. He replied that it was busy. I told him that they had a table of 6 people that were already there when we got there. Maybe, a few others. He proceeded to have attitude that it's busy for them. We asked to speak to a manager. A lady with black hair appeared and was very agitated that we asked to speak to her. We have not been to an ihop in a good while however today was the day and I'm so glad we stopped by. Menu has been updated since our last visit. I decided on the avocado toast and YALL let me tell you...it was fantastic! It's served on a BIG piece of toast and LOADED with avocado. They did not skimp on the green at all. It's also topped with roasted grape tomatoes that tasted like a nice sun dried tomato. I got mine with a side of sausage and topped with a fried egg. Yum! I can't say enough how impressed I was. I am convinced that the staff at this location could not find their way out of a wet paper bag. I have placed three different to go orders at this location and every single time they got the order wrong and forgot items. The first time they forgot the strawberry topping for the pancake order and they forgot the syrup caddy. The 2nd time they got the order wrong and gave sausage, which we could not eat, instead of bacon and ham. The third and most recent order they not only got wrong again and gave sausage instead of bacon but they once again forgot the strawberry topping and syrup caddy. Now let's move on to food quality. For the most part it's decent and what you would come to expect from any IHOP. However, this most recent order was terrible. The hash browns on both entrees were hard and completely inedible. The eggs were runny even though we ordered scrambled. The only decent part of the meal were the pancakes which would have been perfect had we been given the syrup caddy we ordered! When I arrived to pick up to order the staff seemed to all be crammed into the kitchen goofing off. With the exception of the nice gentleman up front. I will say overall the food tastes better at Ihop but their portion sizes for me never suffice. At least for breakfast. Their coffee isn't as good as Denny's either (I'm a dark roast lover). I was very impressed with how coordinated, organized and fluid the restaurant worked, despite there being a crowd out the door. Today we had a friendly server, a slow kitchen, and warm food. Last time we had an impatient server, a busy short-staffed kitchen that didn't deliver for 30 minutes, and cold food. I can't help but spend money there for the holiday specials, especially pumpkin spice pancakes. When there aren't holiday meals, I generally don't eat at Ihop anyway. At least they have my once-in-a-while vote! My youngest sister graduated from Air Force Basic Training and where did she want to eat at the most??????? IHOP! This Ihop made our last breakfast with our graduate one that won't soon be forgotten. This is thanks to Dee Dee and Addy. These ladies are the epitome of what servers should be. They were attentive, fun, SMILEY and really just an absolute JOY. From the moment we walked in, everyone was doing whatever they could to help out group...mind you, we were a group of 10. They set up our table, and Addy took our order. Our food was served quickly and accurately. Dee Dee even happened to make it into a few of our photos...she and my step dad hit it off! It was quite funny.
