We waited only 5 minuets to be seated. When we were seated we waited for at least 10 minuets before anyone ever came to our table. When she did come to the table we were ready to order because we had so much time to look at the menu. We ordered our food and drinks, waited another 30+ minuets until we found our waitress to ask for much needed refills and an update on our food. We had somewhere we had to be on time and did not expect to be waiting so long. She said it would be right out and then came back to say that the kitchen didn't get her order and they are now starting to make it. We asked her to cancel it and left. There is no way we were willing to wait longer after we had already been there for over and hour at this point. We left and met up with my friends that had left church at the same time as we did and had already been to Jim's and finished their meal by the time we were told that she didn't put our order into the kitchen. The waitress also told us that it had been a crazy morning and they had "cooks walking out and servers were crying". It seemed very calm inside the restaurant so I feel as though she was making excuses as to why she forgot to ring in our food. IHOP at The Rim has been a reliable place to take my grandkids to start a special day with me. They are known for a menu with a wide selection. The grandkids like the Funny Face and I like the Swedish Pancakes with Lingonberry Butter. That was my mom's favorite when I was a kid in another place long before it was called IHOP. read more

We ordered food online said it would be ready at 9:11pm. Upon arrival it took a while to even get acknowledged then I was told food wasn't even ready. Needless to say we did not get our food until after 10pm. Customer service needs much improvement. read more

I just had the worst experience at this ihop. They are usually bad but tolerable, I had to wait 10 minutes to get coffee. And then the waiter came and ask are you ready to order, so I reply yes, and turns his back and go and ask another table for the order, this is just rude. The first time that I was here it after an hour and a half with just coffee the manager ask us to wait for another 30 minutes because they were having issues with the kitchen. our server was incompetent, we waited for 12 minutes just to be seen when there was only two other tables in the restaurant. we had to get up and ask for our server and it still took a couple of minutes. We ask for three lemonades and she only come back with two & days "oh did he want a drink too?" When she brought our plates later she tossed mine on the table and it almost fell and she tried to laugh about it. We had to ask for utensils and napkins. She only checked on us once and I had to go look for her myself and she was just at the back with a guy sitting down at a table and eating while he was eating and on the phone. If you're busy it definitely should not be taking that long, the other two table she had also had to go look for her or asked other people there for help. I also had to ask her to come get our card to cash us out since we had been waiting again. Serving isn't meant for everyone obviously, some are too ditzy. We also didn't get her name because she didn't bother to introduce herself but it was a very young brunette with brown eyes and low ponytail. DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. The service here is horrible! We were told it was a 10-15 minute wait...40 minutes later, we're seated. I had to get up and ask for menus. We wait another 15 minutes to be acknowledged by our waiter. He seemed very annoyed when I asked for silverware and napkins. The place is dirty. Definitely will not be back. Dirty, understaffed. I would say the current labor market is the reason for being understaffed but this location was suffering with the same issue pre-covid. Tonights visit had a total of three employees working with the manager filling in for the chef....ironically the last time we visited this location the chef didn't show up..... 2 stars because the food met expectations and everyone working there all had great attitudes. I was the only customer that had an order in, all other customers were already served their orders. I never mind waiting for good quality hot food so after waiting 20 minutes this is what I was served. I ordered basted eggs and by the photo you can see that they were over cooked so much so that they were brown. I asked the server "is that basted"? she said yes, I ask for warm syrup while she was getting the warm syrup I found the eggs to over cooked and not even warm. After 5 minutes the server returned with the syrup and I showed her the eggs. I left and returned later to show the manager the pictures. She told me that the cook "Richard" is very good and he has never done this before. I think she thought that was going to be a comfort to me... She also said that the server had been with IHop for 23 years and this too was troubling as you would think the server would know how basted eggs should look...which is why I ask, I know how they should look and I have only been ordering basted eggs for 3 years. read more

This review is for this location specifically. It appears that there is lack of communication amongst the staff here and in turn has caused a poor experience for me. I will not order from this location anymore and perhaps boycott ihop completely. In 6/16 I rushed to ihop during my lunch to pay for a takeout order that my husband forgot to pay in the morning. It was a misunderstanding because he assumed I placed the order online and paid but I had changed it to phone order. Additionally the server handing him the food didn't ask for payment so he believed he was set. I even made the payment with the manager. On 8/9 when he went to pick up an order he was humiliated by the staff who told him he had an outstanding bill. He paid for both bills that day. Once I found out I call same day and the staff member explains that there are no notes that in June I returned that day to pay the bill and "the other server must have taken the money." I am frustrated with their disorganization. I go in person to show proof of transaction on my statement and was told I'd be credited. Nothing. I call in September and was told again I would get the credit. Still nothing. At this point I've given up. Very disappointing and bitter experience. read more

This place was lit af... until my favorite server left. His name is Chris Stedman and he was the bomb. The food is mediocre but I don't come here for the food, I come here for the entertainment. I come into ihop and Chris Stedman, before I even had the chance to open my mouth, knew exactly where I wanted to sit and had my breakfast sampler already on its way! So I went and the lady in the front told me that it was fine just to go around to the patio and she'll get someone to attend me, i waited and then i got a phone call, and as I was on the phone and i see the waitress was coming but the she went back inside, I thought she was gonna come back, and so I waited and i waited 25 min just to get attended!! too one ever came, and I left and I'm more than sure no one even notice I left either.
