Fruit

The fruit was days old. The pancake fell apart as soon as I stuck a fork in it. The egg white was super oily.

I wanna give it a 3 1/2 rating. But really I can't. The staff is super friendly and we loved the service. But why are my feet sticking in the bathroom? I think when we come to staples like IHOP - we understand that it's kind of the middle of the dining experience. And this is that. But it's also pricey then I can remember. Not to be confused with overpriced. The food was hot and good. The portions are huge. Food was fresh . Coffee is diner style - which complements the meals well. I love all the menu options. We love the butter pecan syrup. It was a great way to slow down, slide into those familiar booths and connect. The rewards program is worth looking into and they stay current with movie specials for kids. Something for all ages and all eating preferences. Everyone there was friendly. We will go back. And we always leave with leftovers. A meal for an adult will run you about $17 each. And the pancakes remain light and fluffy

Loved my bruch meal- classic bowl with bacon. Enjoyed coffee and fruit as well. The 2 x 2 x 2 was good with bacon. Our server was the nicest and most pleasant. No wait, reasonably priced. Will return in the future.

Double Blueberry Pancakes

I took a bite out of this pancake and nearly broke a tooth and choked on this curvy sharp piece of metal IN THE PANCAKE! When I called the manager they said they don't know what to tell me because they don't use metal appliances. Then offered to remake the same pancake like I want more metal to choke on.

I had a great experience here. I brought my family and probably got the two best servers, Siyenna and Jasmine. They were very attentive to my large family (7 people), and kept everything neat and clean. They we're both very nice and made the experience fun for the kiddos too. Outside of restaurant was kind of on initial set - back, but once inside I felt like we were taken care of. The food was okay, and the kids were happy with their orders. I was glad to just finally find somewhere with decent customer service!! I'd not only come back, but I recommend.

I think they are handling the pandemic pretty well. The staff wear mask and they are enforcing social distancing. The staff was friendly and had good customer service. The food was ok. The handle things a lot different now with covid19 happening. For example the table is empty when you sit. They have to bring syrup, silverware or plastic ware and coffee cups. Nothing I already at the table when you arrive.

It was late and they had NO customers, so I guess I got chicken that had been cooked quite some time before I ordered, and it was cut into large sections instead of small pieces. The fries weren't fresh either. The guy who took my order was chill.

Strawberry lemonade and Mango Lemonade

My service from CAREY was superb! My friend and I ordered omelettes , I had the spinach and mushroom omelette topped with hollandaise sauce and my friend ordered the country omelette. Three pancakes came with the omelettes. For an extra $1.29 you can have pancakes served with a fruit topping. I had blueberries on top of mine. We tried the new lemonades strawberry lemonade for my friend and mango lemonade for me. The strawberry lemonade was very attractive with the rich red color and real strawberries added. I was a little unsure about the mango lemonade but it was good as well. I was happy to hear that the refills are free. IHOP is a very consistent place where the breakfast is always delicious.

Faux scrambled eggs. They had a powdery texture. Disgusting.

I placed an order this evening via Postmates at around 8:40pm. I ordered a waffle, sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese and orange juice. The Postmates driver arrived and handed me a bag, but no cup. I asked him if IHOP had given him an orange juice. He responded no. I immediately called IHOP to tell them that the driver said he was not given an orange juice. The IHOP employee asked if the driver was still with me. I said no, drivers don't get paid to RETURN to restaurants! He/she immediately starts telling me how to use the PM app to get a refund for the missing orange juice. I began telling this person that I ordered orange juice because I wanted orange juice and that they really need to pay attention to what people order so the customer can receive what they ordered. He/she cut me off by continuing to tell me how to get a refund for the orange juice. I hung up. Once I start to eat, I take a bite of what's supposed to be scrambled eggs with American cheese. I didn't see any indication that cheese was present. The eggs had a very weird texture. They tasted powdery. There is no way those were real eggs. DISGUSTING and INEDIBLE. I will never visit this location again, nor will I ever place another delivery order from IHOP.

Everything was good until I noticed my bank statement. They wrote in a tip for themselves after I already tipped in cash.

I like the pancakes but finding HAIR in my hash browns is something that brought the ratings down to one. Ugh! Is it so hard to be sanitary?

Looks a little sketchy from outside and surrounding area, but don't worry it's a good place! Discovered this place via yelp, searching for a dinner location anout halfway between Decatur and Lawrenceville, as we were meeting friends and neither of us wanted to travel too far. Seeking economical choice with good food & drinks. Mission accomplished here! Wasn't our first choice. Dining on a Monday is hard, as so many restaurants are closed. But it turned out to be an excellent choice, as we loved our apps, drinks and meals. Had a nice size table with plenty of room in the quieter dining area in the back, away from the bar and TVs. There are TVs in back area as well, just not as many. Started with the nachos with beef chili, and the blackened brussel sprouts. Both were delicious and gone quickly! I had the cheeseburger salad. After all this deep fried, heavy southern food and grits, wanted something a little lighter. The portion was huge, and it was delicious. Onion rings were delicious. Huge plate for a side dish. Others had various wraps, and everyone loved their meals. Good tap beer selection. We had a variety of cold ones. If you're in the area looking for a good local, affordable place to have a meal or drinks, pick this spot. Its family friendly as well.

A decent size parking lot, a round-robin of customers & I spoke to a few who are repeats- they love it! The restaurant is clean & organized- booths & tables. Charging stations (plugs) available as well. Walk up counter, place order, wait for your number to be called. Do not be in a rush- made-to-order!! Worth the wait!!! If you are not starving- split a meal with a friend- portions are huge & truly DELICIOUS!!! Ask for sauces, if you want. They have tartare, cocktail & homemade hot sauces. Fresh lemons too. Pepsi products, sweet/unsweetened tea... NO ALCOHOL! Outstanding employees! All so nice! Big menu- ask for one if needed, they have scrolling screens & it is hard to figure out. Menu is best to figure out what you want. Literally EVERYTHING was SO fresh & delicious!!! Mom thought salty, so maybe ask for light/no salt if this is a dietary restriction. They have fresh & fried options. Here are pics of our meals. All left with to-go's. Note, meals are served in to-go containers, not actual plates. The music is fun but WAY WAY WAY too loud. Heads up. Nobody was at the host podium for a minute and then someone came around and greeted us warmly. We let him know we would like a table for three outside. He said that would not be a problem, handed us menus and said head outside to pick our table. After a few minutes our very friendly server, Patricia, came out to greet us. We quickly reviewed the beverages.. I was happy to see they had an extensive beer selection. I ordered a Creature Comfort Bigger Dreams, Wifey ordered a Mango Cart and my daughter ordered a Kingston Peach frozen drink. The drinks came out quickly and then we were pretty much ready to order our food. Wifey ordered Barbecue Nachos with turkey. I ordered 10 wings, all drums, with a mixture of 2 flavors: the Peach BBQ and Pineapple Chipotle. I picked Tatter Tots as my side. My daughter ordered the Sweet Heat Salmon bowl. She said they had her at "Coconut Rice" in the dish description. We sat outside and I noticed there were TVs everywhere. Perfect set up for a warm afternoon. Before we knew it, the food was coming out. I loved my wings and was happy with the flavors I chose. Wifey commented her nachos could've been a little warmer, but she really enjoyed them. I tasted a corner and agreed they were very good. My daughter could not stop raving about her Salmon Bowl. The coconut rice lived up to her expectations and brought everything together. We were finishing up our food and were ready to close out the bill. The problem was our server was nowhere to be found. We waited and waited, I eventually had to wave down another server to find her and let her know we were ready for the bill. We still waited and waited and then I had to go inside and wave her down myself to let her know we wanted a couple togo boxes and the check. This place was a solid 4 to 4.5 before all the trouble chasing down our server. Even though service fell off at the end of our visit, Patricia was nice when she was around and my daughter was still raving about that bowl hours later. She ate the whole thing. She thought she was gonna have enough to pack it up, but while waiting for our server she kept picking at it and next thing we knew it was all gone. Overall a mixed bag but more good than bad and I would return when in the area. 3.5 Rating

My girl and I were always curious but never had the nerve to just go for it. Mostly, we just made fun of the name. I finally made the venture over just the other day. The guy working was extremely friendly, that is much appreciated! He went over the menu which is very elaborate (for a trailer kitchen, mind you). BBQ, burgers, wings, and everything fried. I went for the wings the first time out. They have around 12 flavors, including some odd ones like Cherryachi. The wings were medium sized, had good flavor and were cooked just right. Wait was only 6 minutes for fresh (well ones that were not siting under a heat lamp) and were ready to go! Not sure what we will try next time...only downside was I saw the previous health department score and they failed (after a re-do they passed). Keep that kitchen clean! Ah, it's all fried anyway...

Long had I seen the (admittedly, somewhat decrepit-looking) wing truck in the (beloved) Thriftown parking lot. For a while it wasn't operational, and I felt no great loss. After all, there is a KFC/Taco Bell right up the street for all my fried poultry and/or faux-taco needs. Lately when we drive to the store, though, the smell of the newly-reopened Wing Ding Doodle calls to me. It's basically like the Siren of Clarkston, ok? It wants my money, and I want what it has. We're all adults, people. But I have been kind of afraid. I know, I know, I'm afraid of everything. So far I'm alive so it's working out okay, I think. Today the boyfriend wanted a banh-mi, but I wanted something more...fried. Because I may or may not have drunk too many things last night. What? Leave me alone. While he was at Pho Truc, I asked him to visit a different truck. One that smells like grease and all things delicious. I just wanted some chicken fings with honey mustard and maybe some fries. I didn't ASK for the fries, but I hoped they would show up. And they did, and they were salty, and it was Lawry's. The fingers were actually, surprisingly good. I would have been happy with some previously-frozen kids' meal krap, but these tenders were way better than that. They were crispy on the outside, though not crunchy. Kind of from the Chick-fil-A school of strips. The honey mustard was damn fine. Everything was salty and I'm not complaining. I kind of wish I had stayed scared of The Doodle, because now I'm even more scared of how often I might be visiting it.
