Since my family and I walked in for breakfast, I noticed the place was extremely dirty and poorly maintained -- dirty windows and floors. Even so, we decided to give it a chance, but it was the worst decision. One of the pieces of bread they served had mold on the edge -- it was GREEN!! And the worst part is that I had already eaten a piece . Even though they didn't charge us, it was the most disgusting experience. I felt sick the entire day. I wanna give it a 3 1/2 rating. But really I can't. The staff is super friendly and we loved the service. But why are my feet sticking in the bathroom? I think when we come to staples like IHOP - we understand that it's kind of the middle of the dining experience. And this is that. But it's also pricey then I can remember. Not to be confused with overpriced. The food was hot and good. The portions are huge. Food was fresh . Coffee is diner style - which complements the meals well. I love all the menu options. We love the butter pecan syrup. It was a great way to slow down, slide into those familiar booths and connect. I would give this place 0 stars. This is the worst IHOP I have ever been too. I came in for a late night dinner to go. They probably were short staffed because it took me forever to get my food. I ordered a burger with fries and some pancakes. They were taking so long my burger came out before my pancakes. I ended up leaving with my burger and told them not to worry about the pancakes. I had a great experience here. I brought my family and probably got the two best servers, Siyenna and Jasmine. They were very attentive to my large family (7 people), and kept everything neat and clean. They we're both very nice and made the experience fun for the kiddos too. My service from CAREY was superb! My friend and I ordered omelettes , I had the spinach and mushroom omelette topped with hollandaise sauce and my friend ordered the country omelette. Three pancakes came with the omelettes. For an extra $1.29 you can have pancakes served with a fruit topping. I had blueberries on top of mine. We tried the new lemonades strawberry lemonade for my friend and mango lemonade for me. The strawberry lemonade was very attractive with the rich red color and real strawberries added. I was a little unsure about the mango lemonade but it was good as well. I was happy to hear that the refills are free. I placed an order this evening via Postmates at around 8:40pm. I ordered a waffle, sausage, scrambled eggs with cheese and orange juice. The Postmates driver arrived and handed me a bag, but no cup. I asked him if IHOP had given him an orange juice. He responded no. I immediately called IHOP to tell them that the driver said he was not given an orange juice. The IHOP employee asked if the driver was still with me. I said no, drivers don't get paid to RETURN to restaurants! He/she immediately starts telling me how to use the PM app to get a refund for the missing orange juice. I began telling this person that I ordered orange juice because I wanted orange juice and that they really need to pay attention to what people order so the customer can receive what they ordered. He/she cut me off by continuing to tell me how to get a refund for the orange juice. I hung up. Once I start to eat, I take a bite of what's supposed to be scrambled eggs with American cheese. I didn't see any indication that cheese was present. The eggs had a very weird texture. They tasted powdery. There is no way those were real eggs. DISGUSTING and INEDIBLE. Everything was good until I noticed my bank statement. They wrote in a tip for themselves after I already tipped in cash.

Covid-19 Score = F None of the many staff wearing masks properly (chinstraps). The kitchen staff had nothing. The Manager, seemingly nice, strutted around with NOTHING, as if being the boss means he is immune to the virus. I observed the staff, and the manager getting very close to customers with no PPE. Customers are not encouraged to wear masks ( nobody said anything to customers coming in without one ). I mentioned the improper wearing of maaks to the manager, who referred to himself as the owner and he just laughed and walked off like there is no pandemic to worry about. Very sad. Decided to come to IHOP for a quick breakfast. Ample parking at this location. Wasn't busy at all. Location wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen, but manageable. The booth that we sat in was terrible. Pretty worn and springy. So if your looking for SUPERB appearance find another location. Our waiter Portia was really pleasant. We didn't see her much, but when we did she was very sweet and took our order right away. Our food came out very fast, which was great. I love IHOP pancakes so I went with a 2x2x2. Pancakes were fine, got hasbrowns instead and they weren't seasoned at all. YUCK. The bacon was cold, so I didn't really eat it. The warm syrup always adds the extra that I need for my breakfast. I ordered from this location on Uber Eats and called in to request syrup. Upon answering the phone I informed (them) not sure of the gender....that I made an order and on Uber Eats and that I would like to request syrup. They informed me I must call Uber Eats because they are busy.... I reiterated I had a current order and that I needed syrup. They informed me it will be extra(which I ordered waffles so why would syrup be extra)and asked what is my order, which I tried to give them my name upfront so they could look up the order. I thought a long time about whether I should write this review, but I think its something that needs to be acknowledged for this location. Now, that said, what I'm about to write is an isolated incident, and should not reflect negatively on Ihop as a whole. This last New Years Eve, I came home from work around 1am, and my family has a tradition of going out to IHOP because its pretty much the only thing open in Oklahoma at that hour. So when we moved, we decided it would be nice to try and do the same thing. This location is the closest to where I lived in Clarkston. When we arrived, the place was busy. No problem, we could wait. So we waited... and waited... and waited. Ten minutes later without a single person acknowledging our presence, another family walked in and was greeted almost instantly. Now, I'm going to make a distinction that I usually don't make because in this case its important for this review. My family was a group of 3 white people. The restaurant staff, the family who entered, and all of the patrons that I saw dining were all black. When this other family was greeted, my brother went up to the desk to try and talk to the guy too, except the employee left, again, not really acknowledging his presence. He stood up there for another ten minutes, being ignored before I finally told him we were leaving. We got not an ounce of customer service while we were here. Now, I can't speak for the day shift, but the night shift at this IHOP are the most racist people I have seen in a long, long time. No thanks. 2:30pm on a beautiful Monday in Spring. We walk in, there is no one at the front desk and the place looks deserted. I stick my head in and see that 2 tables are indeed occupied. I then see all of the employees in a rear section. They appear to be folding napkins, refilling bottles etc. Eventually one of them notices us and heads our way. She looks at us and says " may I help you". A bit perplexed I ask if they are open. She says yes. I then day well we would like a table please. Duh! Once seated a different waitress comes to take out order. I say I would love a cup of coffee. Her response "this late in the afternoon and you are drinking coffee"? It's a freaking I Hop for heaven's sake! I tell her I work nights so yes I drink coffee in the afternoon. Anyway...she brings my food; Tbone steak, pancakes and eggs scrambled with cheese. The pancakes look great nice color and all but when I take my first bite they are a mushy, half done mess. Ok on to the eggs...my first mouth full and I figured d the texture to be strange. Makes me wonder if they are real eggs. As I take another but I realize the problem is that there is way more cheese than eggs. I can't. The steak is tough and bristley. I want to start by saying that I like IHOP in general. We went here some months ago very early in the morning (keeping in mind they are open 24 hours). The staff behaved as if no customers were there at all (yelling out "shop talk" to each other across the dining room and so on), or as if we were bothering them by being there, and the service was slow considering we were practically the only people there. The food was a bit less than okay--not so bad, but not as good as we've had at other IHOP locations. We went there again today at mid-morning because I had a special offer (I am a member of the IHOP Rewards program) I wanted to redeem. I showed them the offer on my phone and they wouldn't let me use it because they insisted I needed a print-out. Granted, the email did say a printout was required and there was no QR code or anything, but I did make the trip out here only to get turned down...and since it is 2017, why not just include a QR code in your reward emails like so many other restaurants do...unless you just want people to seek out your competition instead... Will not be coming back to this IHOP again...free reward offers or no. read more
