If you come here to get some food I can almost guarantee you it's going to be divine. Burgers, wings, fries are to die for....but, the last few times I've gone I felt a little "queezy" after eating it. Idk why but it's happened on multiple occasions. We enjoyed our visit to Village Burger! Located in downtown Tucker, there were plenty of parking opportunities. We arrived around lunchtime and were able to quickly place our order at the counter. I came here for lunch with a guest, as it's equi-distance from both of us, and I have been to Village Burger in the past in other locations. It was great. I thought downtown Tucker would be more sleepy, but it was pretty busy during lunch, parking wasn't too difficult, but it took longer than I thought. It's all free though, and abundant. It was a cold rainy day, and walking in to Village Burger was like a warm hug. The place was warm and cozy. The menu is fantastic-- lots of items and very affordable. Prices can look higher when you go through an app like Doordash or Uber Eats, but the menu at the location was very reasonably priced. We ordered the Cobb salad, a cheeseburger, fries, and Blizzard (VB style). The food was very good, hot, fresh, and served quickly. Tipping is optional as you pay at the register and they bring your food to you. They also have a condiment station and both fountain and bottled drinks. One of the best turkey burgers I've ever had in metro-Atlanta. It was fresh, well seasoned, and juicy! The bread was so tasty! I added all of the fixins on mine and it tasted like a homemade burger. Delicious! They do have limited drink options in their soda fountain which was fine, I just had the lemonade. The ambiance was chill since I went during lunch, but it was a steady flow of customers. I have eaten at both locations, and they never miss a beat. The staff at the tucker location is always a joy to interact with. The food quality is always the same at either location. But if you are a timid driver, you may want to park elsewhere. Backing out into oncoming traffic can feel like the end of the world. Ordering: Walk up to the counter order a staple burger or create your own. You have your choice of buns or bunless. Meat options range from beef, double meat to vegan - impossible burger. Fries or onion rings. Drinks: fountain, shakes and beer or wine. My experience: Big goofball, I just sat down waiting for someone. Well that's not how it works. I quickly figured it out and ordered. My food was ready when I arrived to pick it up, which is always great. The burger was good, definitely got the job done. The bread was kind of flat but the bacon was cooked just right as well as the Pattie's. The fries, weren't my favorite but weren't bad. I prefer my fries a little well done for the crunch and these weren't that. But they were good, just would have liked more seasoning. I recently been back and I have to update to keep honest. There menu is still intensive however now they offer combos. The staff was always super friendly and welcoming. Place still gives bring the wife and the kids. But this time I tried there turkey burger and chicken tenders. I ended up kinda liking both but also I feel like the Pattie's amount is less. Not necessarily is it problematic but it is different. They where cool about my son asking for a refill (just how cool they are). I had so much anxiety ordering delivery tonight, as we most likely got our McDonald's order from Uber Eats stolen yesterday by a wrong customer or the driver himself. On top of that, our attempts to reorder were cancelled twice even after the app showed our driver arrive at the location. So either we got our meal stolen twice, or for some reason the restaurant cancelled twice in a row after the first mishap. In any case, we got a refund, but never got any food last night, after waiting for 2.5 hours. Needless to say I've deleted the Uber Eats app and am gonna do business elsewhere for awhile... That brings me to tonight. I decided to go with DoorDash, since I haven't used them for a month. I couldn't use the rest of my Uber Eats discounts, but at least hopefully my food wouldn't get stolen or cancelled. We passed by Village Burger but never tried them before, so we decided to give them a shot. My fiance ordered the customizable Village Burger that comes with two patties. His toppings were ketchup, mustard, mayo, tomato, lettuce, onion, extra American cheese, and a fried egg, all on Texas toast. We ordered the shared fries, which was split into two cups automatically and a side of fried pickles with ranch. I ordered the Chicago dog and a side Caesar salad. Thank God, there were absolutely no mishaps with our delivery order tonight, and our food was delivered with care, still warm, even though our driver had another stop before us! Everything was pretty amazing: The side Caesar salad was really great with extra cheese and a great portion for under $4. I would definitely order it again to balance out my meal. My Chicago dog was a meal in itself. There were a bit too many tomatoes and onions for my taste as they were chopped instead of sliced, but overall, great flavor and portion. The fried pickles were wonderful - nice and crisp and tasty with ranch. The breading was almost like fried chicken, so good! The shared fries were nice and crisp even after sitting in a car for 40 minutes, so that was pretty awesome - not soggy or greasy at all. Good portion for under $5 also. The real showstopper was the Village Burger though. Amazing! It was my fiance's order, but I would probably order the burger the exact same way he did, but add on bacon, mushrooms, and avocado. After tasting his burger, I thought I should've gotten one too! Juicy, flavorful, and all the toppings and extra cheese took it to the next level. I think the Texas toast made all the difference too - trumps a regular bun almost any day. Five stars on the burger alone. If you want reliable service and great quality food with flavor at a very reasonable cost, order from Village Burger tonight. You won't be disappointed!
