So refreshing to have a male bartender (Matt). Nice music, not pop. Came for a burger; almost switched to Reuben, but with Matt's recommendation, stayed with my reason for my visit. Glad I did. Simple Cheddar Burger cooked Rare/Med Rare. It was slightly salty, although I love salt. Perfectly cooked, went for O Rings upgrade. Very Yummy with a side of Chipotle Mayo. Such a great Visit. I don't go out much anymore, since I was forced to medically retire, so when you get such a delicious meal, it makes me so very happy, I saved my money and came to #Brockettpubhouse. #VisitBrockettpubhouse #RememberGeorgeKs

Background

This place is a joy from start to end. Great staff, decent laid back ambiance, and stellar food options. They actually talk to new customers like they matter the same as regulars.

Excellent service and the food is awesome! Our group came on the day of the Luau and it was so much fun. The ambiance was very festive!! Thanks Brockett Pub for a fun Sunday afternoon.

Honey mustard wings with blue cheese

The honey mustard wings are delicious. I like honey mustard and wings so you can't go wrong. I used to live in the area before I relocated. The food is good. My bro visited on ¹1/1/2024 and got these wings. He visits often. The taste and the flavor is good with the blue cheese. I chipped half of the order it was a 20 pc.

Buffalo chicken wrap

My hidden gem! I stumbled upon Brockett Pub while looking for something close to the office. OMG am I glad I found this place. Parking is easy and breezy. The restaurant is your standard sports bar with plenty of seating, a bar, and many tvs playing all the games. The food and service will have you driving out of your way. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and fries. So good and the fries were fresh and crispy. They have a great selection of beers. It's hard to find a good sour beer and they have many. Prices are very good. The wrap was 12.00 and my beer was 6.00. The service is spectacular. Matt, the bartender/server is so nice with great recommendations. This place will definitely be my go to for the UGA games with friends as well. Go dawgs!!!!

Blood orange margaritas

The cocktails were fine, nothing too special. The tacos were fine, again, nothing too spectacular. The service was polite and professional. I enjoyed the patio seating.

Chicken club salad

the good... friendly service ... the not good $19.00 for salad that includes tip for a salad at a pub which to me was not a $15 salad it was a $10 salad due to the portion of chicken smh - sticking to fork in the road where all salads better price and you get more.

Avoid this place; the bartender has a foul mouth and lacks the skills to make a proper margarita.

Every person we talked to was fun, funny and just a joy to hang with. Harlow was great (bartender). She concocted this olive spin on a Hugo Spritz. Wife absolutely loved it. For me the bourbon selection was great. Got to try a newly opened Old Carter. Also dabbled in the Shackleton. Figured some exploration with one of the greatest explorers. Both were great. Finally the food. Every thing we ordered was absolutely delicious. Massive truffle fries (called chips but more like logs lol), don't sleep on the Gouda Mac and cheese, farmer fresh sliced squash and my meal, the 12oz steak on a bed of Peruvian mash potato's with shiitake mushrooms rounded out with asparagus. I can not accurately describe how amazing that meal was. You gotta try it for yourself. Andrew, we will be back.

And on the menu it said hand cut chips with my fish and chips. I did not receive that . So I'm thinking bait and switch. Thinking you're getting one thing then it comes out and it's totally different but yet you pay the same price for the meal. I'm thinking that since I didn't get what was quoted on the menu that there would have been a price difference. But there was not. Just a little disappointed. In my meal. The rest of my party really liked the salads.

I've visited Downtown…read moreDecatur Square countless times and walked past this spot over and over but this time, I got lucky and made it in for a drink. Brick Store Pub is an incredible place. The staff are fantastic, personable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They really know their craft and are happy to share recommendations on both drinks and food. The ambiance adds so much to the experience, I recommend you to come and relax on the patio or grab a seat at the bar. There's such a great vibe all around that makes you want to stay awhile. If you're in the area, definitely stop by, you'll enjoy every bit of the atmosphere that Brick Store has been giving all this time. I will be back!

Was meeting friends for…read morelunch and tried to call to make a reservation since there were 6 of us for a Saturday and there was going to be a music festival that afternoon. Got a text back saying they don't take reservations, it's first come, first serve, but they would do what they could to accomodate us. 4 of us were seated and we had 2 more coming before we wanted to order. The wait staff was attentive, making sure we had our beverages and if we needed anything before the 2 arrived. Once they arrived, the staff gave us a few minutes to make sure the 2 had a chance to look at the menus. We ordered appetizers to start...corn bread, sage fried pierogies and poutine. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). As time got closer to the festival to start, it did get crowded, but the staff handled the influx of people and people were seated relatively quickly. This was a nice destination as most of the group live a drive from Decatur. Lovely afternoon visit!

The next time in 2024 when I was in the area, they were closed for a remodel. Today was the day. The beer selection was fantastic and so was the food. I got the pork sandwich with greens on top. It was delicious, but it could've not had juices leaking so much? Maybe cheese below and above the meat to try to keep some of the juices off the bun or maybe more bun toasting? The fries were amazing and I should've gotten the aolie initially, but didn't get it until I saw another table with an order. It was delicious. The service was very good. The server had good knowledge of the beers, food, and was friendly. This is one of the best beer bars in the US.
