Went in for breakfast on 12 /7/21 ordered coffee ,spicy poblano omelette with hash browns and a side of pancakes. The carafe of coffee they dropped at my table was not hot and not but not cod it me think it came from some other table omelette was also cold and bland but what really got me was the hair under my last pancake. By far the best IHOP have been to and live the service I get each time. The management is great, the waitress are awesome and friendly. The food comes out good always and I can't really complain about anything. The place got renovated and it looks amazing, everyone should come and eat here. I tried both strawberry and (blue)berry pancakes. Their pancakes were good! Super soft! I liked the strawberry one better than the blueberry pancake! Blueberry sauce was too sweet for me! Strawberry sauce had a perfect amount of sweet and tart! Yumyum! Pancakes were good, but I wish the workers were a little more friendly. Especially, the attitude of the male receptionist or cashier was not great. He made me uncomfortable even asking for a pancake syrup. Went for Easter breakfast this AM. While there was a crowd outside, we were a party of three and seated within the 15-20 minutes as promised. The place was exceptionally clean, (tables and floors) even on a holiday with increased volume. Pancake houses usually have sticky tables but ours they did not. When I saw the busboy wiping down a table across from us and noticed he was using like a Clorox wipe- I asked what they used and he stated they aware a special wipe that the owner requires us to use. Asking the Manager when we left, he said the owner spends almost $200k a year to buy them for all his IHOPs because it kills 99.9% of all germs on hard surfaces. He also said that he wasn't required to purchase them - he just does it to stop the germs from spreading to patrons and staff. He added that IHOP's standard for food prep and storage practices are more stringent that the County Health Departments!! I think I will be eating here far more often because of this and because food is fantastic. We ordered the sirloin tips and eggs and a Swiss and mushroom scramble- both were amazing! The meat was so tender and flavorful. The Swiss and mushroom scramble was made with cracked eggs at my request and cooked perfectly- not too rubbery, just light and fluffy. Can't go wrong with the food, the value, cleanliness, staff and service! Highly recommend!!! read more

So many options that are better. The Good: The hostess was nice and they have a train that kids seam to like. Older people like the place. The Bad: Worst part the bathrooms were horrible. My girlfriend needed to use one pretty badly but waited until we drove up to a Starbucks after getting a glance at the room. In her words, "Toilet paper on the floor, I'm out!" We take her 93 year old father here occasionally because its his favorite. But its so bad we stop for coffee and tea at Starbucks along the way to have a decent drink. I had an egg white omelette for about $13 and Dad had pancakes, eggs and sausage while the girlfriend just shared with us. The food was adequate but not very interesting. The service was terrible. Our waitress barely spoke to us outside of ordering, slammed forks on the plate in front of us when picking up plates and even walked away from us while we were talking. Total bill for two plates was about $28 not including tip. Overall: There are so many better places to eat in the area for a similar price. I highly recommend Molly's Souper just up the street, Red Hill Cafe or even Brandon's Diner. read more

Today we enjoyed our pancakes with a purpose to help those suffering from spinal cord injuries. I have done events like this before and NO ONE gives 50% back to the cause and also lets them put signs up ands pass flyers out to anyone who comes in that didn't know there was going to be a fundraiser that day. I also got to add a donation to my tip that they were generously going to take their time to separate out and add to the donation box. Our food was great and the service was good too. Terrible food and worst customer service ever. I ordered for a Tbone steak and came with the worst steak ive ever seen. See photos below. And worst it doesn't look like and taste like beef. We asked for the server to verify if its a beef because we don't eat pork and they said its def a beef tbone steak. We had bites but it won't go in our system, the meat is white compared to red meat beef and I ordered for a well done meat. Really frustrating and disappointed. When you had a night shift and all you wanna do is enjoy your breakfast with your family after you have gone off work and this is your experience. We called for the manager and "Maira" came just to make the situation worst. Her voiced raised and we couldn't get more embarrassed than people can hear the issues from our table. Was too tired to argue, i just said to take off the tbone steak from our bill. And hola she came back with $2 off from our bill because she said that's the cost of the tbone steak, she charged me with the harsh brown and eggs and pancakes that came the tbone steak. $2 cost of the tbone steak. No wonder the look and taste of the tbone steak that they gave us. Joke of the day! We came hungry and left hangry and very very Disappointed esp my daughter. Never again IHOP at this location. First time I found hair in our food, we got our food replaced, this lady who was not our waiter was very snippy when we got new food and said" we made sure this one doesn't have gair in it". Well thankfully it didn't and we were polite about the situation the entire time so I don't know why she was being snippy with us. I gave this place another try today and the hostess up at the front was very Snippy too I'm assuming a trainee over righting down names on the waiting list. Usually good quick service at this location. Never really have any issues. Prices have gone up a lot so I frequent less, also proportions are small for the prices. Pancakes and waffles are good. This was just about the worst experience that I have ever had at IHOP. My husband and I love Ihop so much and we were excited to go back since the re-opening of indoor dining. Well, when we first got there the customer service seemed okay. the hostess put us on the waiting list but shortly thereafter she quickly found us a table. We, myself, my husband, and our two kids sat down and was then approached by one waitress that we assumed would be our waitress for the duration of our dining there. This waitress ask us can she start us off with some drinks, but she still did not introduce herself, and at that point, we responded to her and told her that just some water would be okay now. she said okay, and came right back with them. She then asked us if we were ready to order. We responded no. And she responds by letting us know that, that was okay and that she would give us a few more minutes. Well needless to say to our surprise, the waitress did come back and asked if we were ready to order and without even thinking about how this was a totally different waitress we said yes, but while she was taking our order I then notice that she was not the same waitress that initially brought us the waters, and she also did not introduce herself, but she did remain our waitress for the rest of the time. Well, we then placed our order and I wanted to try the new candied bacon pancake combo. My husband got a regular pancake combo, and one of our daughters ordered off the kid's menu and got a jr. cupcake pancake combo, and our other daughter ordered the silver 5. Once we received our orders, already the food looked all wrong. First of all, we all ordered our eggs to be cooked extremely well but instead, they were only cooked thoroughly on one side and the other side was a little runny and undercooked. and all of our pancakes were overcooked as well as our hashbrowns were severely overcooked to the point of them being almost burnt, everything was so unenjoyable, I hardly ate anything except my pancakes, and those tasted terrible. At that point, I tried to see if the waitress could have the cook remake my eggs and she said that she would have them recook my eggs, she did just so, but the new ones she brought back were cooked a little harder but would prove to be slightly undercooked on one side just like the other ones. By that time I had, had just about enough so I just no longer wanted to eat any of it, my meal as a whole was just disgusting and with a full plate of barely touched food, I simply asked this different waitress that appeared out of know were to ask us if we're good, (didn't know her either) if I could just have my money because the food was disgusting and I barely touched it. Well instead of just giving me my money back, she suggested that she would tell the manager and see if they could just charge me for the pancakes and bacon, to be honest, I was fuming mad on the inside because I just wanted my money back but I reluctantly agreed. Well, they came back with the supposed modified receipt, except when my husband looked over it, instead of giving us a discount, they actually ended up charging us more, they charge us for pancakes and bacon both items ala carte which ended up being more money than the combo. Well, needless to say, you could imagine my husband and I's frustration we had to then request to speak to the manager personally, and upon his arrival, we explained the situation to him, and instead of him just saying well I'm so sorry and to let me go ahead and fix this for you, he asks in a sarcastic undertone, Well what was wrong with it? And we said that the food just wasn't good, he then began to look frustrated and after blowing, he then in a begrudgingly way says that he will go ahead and just charge us for the pancakes. My husband and I were so upset because we felt like we wasted our time and almost 40 dollars of our money on a terrible dining experience, and I'm talking bad customer service and terrible food. I just wish I could have gotten every last penny i spent on that horrible breakfast. Usually, their slogan is" come hungry and leave happy," but we came hungry and left unhappy. My family will never eat at the Upland Ca. Ihop Again. DISGUSTING!!! read more

Always busy this is my moms favorite place to have breakfast. I'm not a pancake fan so I go for my mom and usually have an omelette which are huge and i end up taking home. The good is fine but the real reason to come here is Cindy. Cindy is the best server in all of Upland!! She greets everyone with a "hi baby" and no matter how busy or tired she really interacts with her customers. Upland IHOP is lucky to have Cindy as an employee! read more

Went in to pick up my Uber Eats order because IHOP wants to do a sale when the employees can't keep up. Waited 40 mins for my food to be "ready" then they come and tell me that my food wasn't paid for I ask if I can just pay right there and she's no it doesn't work that way. After that I check my bank information and it says the transaction went through. So I drove there for nothing, with less money and no food. Terrible service. read more

No, no, no... Just a horrid experience. I went to this location this morning to have brunch with my family and I left so upset that I was lost for words. The reason for our awful experience was our waitress, Carmen. She took over 30 minutes to even take our order (thank goodness there were people to bring drinks beforehand). She kept walking by us and saying, "I'll be with you soon." We were patient, however, because it was very busy in there. When we finally got our orders in, I was starting to feel awful from being hungry. What made it worse was that we noticed people that had come in after us with their food already... Then, our waitress cames back and tried to give us something we didn't order and when we told her that she just huffed off to some other table. We finally got our food a whopping hour later, and Carmen gave us our bill at the same time. So it turns out the only thing she's quick about is getting us the heck out of there. We can't even enjoy our food. Anyways, we're almost too hungry to care at this point and we scarf it down. My cousin didn't finish her hash browns because the grease started to make her feel sick... She also had accidentally used some ketchup that she consequently did not finish either and we did not think that that'd be an issue... That is, until Carmen comes by to pick up our dishes and she looks at the plate of hash browns and ketchup and asks my cousin "what's this?" My cousin said, "... Ketchup?" And Carmen told her, "Wow, I've never seen such waste before." Now, I am not one for wasting food either but really??? I don't think that I would ever say something like that to any of my customers. She then goes to grab another ketchup bottle and slams it on our table. I was hoping it was a joke! I didn't even know what to say. We really wish we went elsewhere because it wasn't exactly a wallet friendly meal either! Honestly, Mickey D's breakfast would have been 100x better. If you come here watch out for her. I've been to this place 3 times and this place was pleasant until today. My sister and I went around 10:30 or so we were sat immediately and our order for drinks were taken. 10 mins go by still no drinks then another lady comes and takes our order for drink AGAIN and we told her we had already ordered our drinks and still are waiting, she comes back with coffee for both me and my sister which was wrong my sister ordered a soda. We asked her if we were going to be charged for 2 coffee and she ask why in a very rude way and we tell her because only one of us ordered coffee and the other ordered a soda she then proceeds to take my coffee away then I had to remind her I ordered coffee. So 15 mins go by and my sisters soda comes but in a filthy smelly cup and we told the lady and another 20 mins go by before she gets a new drink. There was never no sorry for the wait etc etc just attitudes from the girl. We Will NEVER return here again. Usually we come here 4 times a week but yesterday Sunday 8/26/18 we went around 6:30 & ask for a coffee and it was very cold we ask a lady with Glasses (I didn't get her name) to change our coffee she got very mad and aggressive towards my mother and slammed the coffee cup on her. I love IHOP. It is basically the more high end version of Denny's. The most recent time I went there I had the nutella crepes, I've been trying to eat healthy lately but I could not pass up this opportunity. I think their prices are pretty fair and their service is good, the waitress stopped by often to see how I was doing. I really suggest the nutella crepes. read more
