Avoid! Extremely slow staff. Ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was like water. Sent it back, and was told they were making a "fresh batch". Ordered the chicken florentine crepes and there was no flavor at all. Barely any hollandaise sauce on top. The "new" biscuit and gravy came out and they had split the biscuit and grilled it. Originally, I would've written a really bad review because we were waiting a very long time for our food. I got really frustrated when I saw other people come in and leave we even gotten our food. I complain to Heather the manager and she made everything perfect! I saw her standing in the kitchen, waiting for the food for us to make sure that everything was perfect. We got hot pancakes. Well done meat just the way we like it, and we were finally able to eat and enjoy. I highly recommend asking for Heather if you have any problem with this establishment at all. Worst IHop experience ever! Host had no commoin sense to acknowledge and seat people with physical disabilities at appropriate seating area. Waiter service is almost nonexistant. Coffee was lukewarm, at best. It took over 40 minutes to serve us their breakfast sampler and crepes. Quality of the food was horrible. The hotel we were staying at was right behind IHOP and since covid came the breakfast Isn't the same. Its good but a nice hot breakfast is what I was looking for. My expectations for IHop were set considerably low. However, even my low standards were not met by the service and food we received from the Vestal parkway IHop on October 11th, 2024. To begin with, our waitress was inattentive and unavailable. Lacking any show of pride in her work. Our coffee went cold(and had poor taste) and our classes remained consistently empty. However, what transpired surpassed anything within her control. One of our group members began by ordering eggs Benedict. The eggs came out not once but two times dry to the bone, as if hard boiled. Finally the third set of eggs arrived and although better, they were in fact under done. As she was still beginning to enjoy her somewhat improved upon eggs Benedict the waitress felt it would be a good time to provide us with our steep checks. Each of us still had large amounts of food remaining on our plates and no boxes were offered. Instead, we had no choice but to get up from our seats and seek them out on our own. No reparations were offered for the sub par eggs Benedict. To conclude we left hungry, disappointed and penniless. No group member received a bill of under 25 dollars, despite the poor service and bland food. Do better IHop . Will not return, and I suggest you steal clear. I went on 8/25 for a Saturday evening with a big group of friends maybe about 10 people. It was the second time I came here and it's always a good place to eat at any time of the day such as late in the night or mid day. It's nice and homey. The waitress apologized and checked in periodically. At the end she even mentioned that her manager would reduce the price of my meal, but they were so sweet and immediately caring of how I felt that I let it go. I was never greatly offended by the hair in my food, because from the beginning the service was pleasant!** I got the International pancake combo special that cost only $8.99 for the Ultimate plate which comes with 2 eggs, 2 bacons, 2 sausages, 2 hams and hash brown. The service was very slow. Our waitress was very impersonal and short, as if she had a personal problem with us. The table was sticky when we sat down, so we asked her for something to wipe it with and she ignored us. The food though, once it finally came, was okay. The avocado in omelette we ordered didn't come, (even though we were charged extra for it) so another waitress was able to give it to us on the side as our original waitress was nowhere to be found. Then when we finally got the avocado, it was past ripe.
