We enjoy IHOP. It's not the best food ever and the omelets are so so. But its a reasonably priced meal that will fill you up. Service has always been great. Super nice servers. The manager impressed us the most. A very upset child next to us was not enjoying the morning. He stepped in, distracted her with crayons and just talked to her like a normal person would and she calmed down and the morning moved on. Went to this IHop for the first time in awhile and they were the nicest people i've ever interacted with. They cracked jokes, they went out of their way to talk with us, and they were efficient. They knew me and my friends were there as a farewell to me going back to school, and they brought me an ice cream as if it were my birthday! My son and I had a gift card that I wanted to use at this location. We arrived on a Saturday morning, the place was packed! Our wait was about 20 minutes. Our server was not friendly at first and didn't know if the gift card would be accepted, she checked with the manager. When she returned, her attitude was very different she was friendly and helpful and we actually had a pleasant experience. We hadn't placed our order more than 10 minutes before the food arrived, pipping hot! The food was typical IHop breakfast, fresh and tasty. On two occasions young ladies came to our table to make sure everything was good. My only suggestion is that the young ladies who call the names be given a microphone or speak loud enough to be heard by all folks waiting. I am usually not a fan of IHOP. We went to the IHOP on 120th today for breakfast...just for something different. I have never been to this IHOP so, I thought I would give it a fair chance. It was a little larger than other IHOP restaurants I have been to. The parking lot was packed so I thought we would have a wait but we were seated right away. The table was clean. There were some crumbs on the seat but that is not a big deal since they are easily cleared off. I was just glad nothing was sticky and the glasses and silverware were washed!! My girlfriend greatly enjoyed her breakfast (which looked and smelled very good). I somewhat enjoyed mine. Everything tasted fine but I was a little turned off by the temperature of my food. My omelet and hash browns were room temperature (which caused my food to become cold very quickly). I don't want my food piping hot...warm is ideal. I did find a raw mushroom in my omelet...which was fine since I eat them raw in salads anyway...I just did not expect it in my omelet. I think this was surprising mainly because I ate the raw mushroom immediately after I took a bite of ice cold tomato!! (And I mean ice cold! I thought I put a ice of tomato flavored ice in my mouth!) I expected warm tomatoes and warm, cooked mushrooms so getting cold tomatoes and a raw mushroom was shocking. Aside from that, everything was okay. I would give this review 2 stars (the food wasn't disgusting by any means but I've had better). It is getting 3 only because of our server. He was awesome!!! He was friendly, funny and at the top of his game (at 8:30am). He made our IHOP breakfast experience fun and unique. I may give this place a second chance...but not any time soon. read more

I have to be honest. The waitress was amazing. Yessi was the name I saw and even left a substantial tip for her just being outgoing and friendly. The food however.. a different story. The pancakes as anyone knows ihop is known for them, but they were decent for being in at 3 in the morning. I had ordered the chicken fried steak with hashbrowns and eggs. Eggs were not cooked fresh, the steak and the hashbrowns tasted like they were just reheated. I regret that unfortunately woke up at 630 and threw up chunks of my late night 'dinner'. Overall.. the waitresses are amazing. The food... I understand it's late, I understand you guys don't want to be there that late either. But you being open is greatly appreciated, please put forth the effort to please your customers and make it fresh. Miriam was excellent! My husband and I came in late yesterday evening and the place was packed. Miriam and one other server were taking in all the tables while seating and checking out guests. We expected to not have the best service, but she did fantastic! I created a custom order that she took with ease and a smile. Our food was out in no time and was delicious. Even as busy as they were she checked in on our table frequently and made sure we had our check in a timely manor. He whole time she kept a smiles on her face and a positive attitude with every table. It's rare to see service this good now a days and my husband and I appreciate being treated well when we go out. This particular visit was definitely 4 or 5 stars. I came with a friend on a Sunday morning. Of course we knew it would be busy and it was. We added our name to the list, and were told it would be 10-15 mins (2 people). With all the hustle and bustle we didn't hear our name and had to go up to ask. We had missed it and they got us in ASAP. As soon as we sat down, our waitress (kadajah???) apologized for the mistake And placed our drink order. She checked in often so our food order would be placed as fast as possible. She also kept our table clean and cleared our dishes quickly. She didn't have a long conversation with us, but it was busy and we felt noticed and important. Whole staff was friendly and efficient. We eat out regularly (4+ a week) and both of us were impressed with our waitress. Best restaurant experience in a long time. read more

Taking the time to write reviews can be a hassle and with it being a sort of fast food chain, well... I just had too. I was quite impressed with how well the food was cooked and seasoned at 11pm at night. Our server Mikey went above and beyond to make our experience just that an experience. Pretty slow Friday night.. We're seated straight away, all went down from there. Manager took our drink order and came back with water only, no one ever came back to us after that. The food here is amazing. One of the best IHOP's I've eaten at yet. To top it off the service was really friendly. It was like the server read my mind on how I wanted my food. Super friendly and personable management. Even after having someone dine and dash on a 72$ ticket they maintained a great attitude. To the 3rd shift crew that worked tonight, the 6th, keep on keepin on y'all have a great night crew going. If any higher level management reads this I definitely believe these workers deserve some sort of recognition for the pride they take in their store, and the impressions they make on customers. Not only is the restaurant clean, updated and modern (including the restrooms!) but the staff at this place are wonderful and are always so kind and friendly! I don't go to Ihop very often. I like the food, most of the staff is nice. This experience I just had was ridiculous. I sit down order a Pepsi, he brings it back with no straw. My wife and I stop here after going to the dentist in the area, and we were both blown away by the customer service. I usually don't get to excited or have much in the way of expectations on national brand or chain type businesses however both the hostess and the two servers on the floor were amazing. We went in on Mothers Day - place was packed, I mean, crazy packed. I've never seen a restaurant run so well,and I've eaten at the nicest of restaurants, so to see this at an iHop was totally unexpected. I spent 13 years in the restaurant business and this location runs like a Rolex. Teamwork, they were moving people fast, the wait staff all had great attitudes.
