Tom, the manager is a d!ck, Joe the chef can not cook, my eggs were not done and bacon was slimey, all of the waitresses had attitude, especially Deanna she's rude, un welcoming, and is the main reason im leaving this review. The funny thing about this review is, when I first moved in the area, I was told, avoid the IHOP. I have no idea why. It's actually one of the most consistent places to eat around. The silverware is always clean, the servers are usually really nice, the food is always consistently good, and they have great coffee. They have specials? they have additions to the menu, we always get a nice roomie booth never crowded in, etc. make sure you download and sign up for their app because you earn pan coins every visit and you can cash them in for whole meals. read more

Great meal on the road stop here. It's inside the gas station but was clean & not bad as you might expect. Workers were nice & subbed out a meat option for a slice of cheese. Surprised it came out ok since it was a mobile order & we called in w/ special instructions. It was all ready to go when we got there. Nothing was missing either! For real. The cowboy chicken sandwich was unreal. It actually looked like the picture maybe even bigger. The onion rings on top were super crunchy. There was like four layers of lettuce and two large tomatoes slices... Like I said it was large. And free from my PanCoins built up. Side salad was great size too. Pancakes were just right. BLT was just fine w/ cheese instead of bacon. If you're passing by this is worth the stop. read more

The salmon I ordered LOOKED NOTHING like in the picture on the menu. It was INCREDIBLY DRY! The veggies were almost non existent. I was not asked a temp so I gathered it would be cooked medium. It was massacred! Such a shame because at 8:30pm on a Saturday - still had 90 minutes - it just looked like the cook couldn't care less. Can't be proud of putting stuff out like this. Maybe just stick to breakfast alone? There was no ambience as there was no around. The chairs were already put up too. So sad that this is served and then a top is expected. Get on your game folks. Stopped by this place while on a road trip, just to fuel ourselves. We got the spicy poblano omelette (pancakes as the side), the spicy Buffalo chicken sandwich, some hot chocolate and coke. Everything was perfect. It was early morning & busy, but we still received the best of service. read more

IHOP is a good "go to" breakfast restaurant when you are traveling. I ordered a poblano omelette without the added pancake mix (they use real eggs when you do it this way). The omelette was a little spicy and the stuffing was plentiful. The eggs were fluffy. This was a tasty very predictable, good omelette. I had a side of sausage links which were also good. I ordered 2 but should have had 4 because they are small. The coffee was nothing special, but it was hot. The server was very nice. I was by myself, and she sat down across from me when I took my order which was friendly. The thing I really like about IHOP is that they are fast. I barely waited 5 minutes for the food. The bottom line is that IHOP is a very good, predictable breakfast place. You always know what you are going to get when you eat at any IHOP, and this one is a fine example. read more

We are passing through on our way to New York and decided to stop at the first place we saw for food. At first glance, it screams redneck only because it's connected to a gas station. However it is really good. The food is great, the waitress wasn't really attentive to us, we had to keep calling her over, and the place itself is clean and family comfortable. The pesto crepes were amazing! I love basil its one of my favorite herbs, and these crepes not only looked yummy on the menu they were absolutely amazing and would order again. My mom had the breakfast crepes. She says they are better with the sausage. She doesn't like bacon, so it makes sense . My daughter had the 5 pancake kids meal, and she ate it up. read more

A rest stop on Route 80 as we're heading to Happy Valley. I was in the mood for Pigs in a Blanket and did not see this on the menu. Maybe I missed it or maybe it's gone, so I did the next best thing...I ordered a meal with a sausage link and a pancake and made my own. The breakfast also included an egg and potatoes. The potatoes were crispy and crunchy and delicious! Service was good and we got in and out in a reasonable time. I won't be back because I don't travel this road ever, but if YOU do, you can rest assured you'll get a fresh, hot meal. read more

The service was the good part, and the only reason it even deserves one star. The food was not edible. I got the plant-based power breakfast. It was so salty. I couldn't take more than one bite. , My friend got some kind of breakfast crêpe that was very thick and not cooked. The manager refunded the money for the one meal, but was very dismissive of the other. All in all don't eat here the food is just disgusting and the management doesn't care. read more

Have passed by this exit many times wishing for someplace convenient to stop. Glad we finally tried it. IHOP is a nice predictable place to have in a truck stop and this one was fine! Not too busy on a Sunday evening but the waitress was friendly and efficient and the place was overall clean and the food quick and good. My wife loves gluten-free pancake option. We were here on their Very First Day open! Great experience at this new IHOP in White Haven. Real friendly staff and the food was super good. It was their first day, but they did well with speed and quality. Place looks great. Located in the Liberty Exxon travel plaza. We will be back soon! Can't wait till they get the gas station remodeled! read more

Waitress was very nice food not so! I love IHop but was very disappointed in this one. My pancakes were cold and we were the only ones in there! Coffee tasted like someone washed their dirty socks in it (don't really know lol) but I could not drink it. The bill 26.00 dollars I know it's expensive to eat out but this is nothing but a glorified truck stop. The bathrooms are filthy and I feel for the truck drivers. For an IHOP, the customer service at this location is much better than most. I went for dinner so the restaurant was not crowded, surprising for 7pm right next to Interstate 80. My server was friendly and courteous. Hopefully the manager will give some coaching to the people who bus the tables. The floor under my booth was filthy and littered with a placemat, napkins, crayons, and food scraps. The table isn't fixed to the floor so it should be easy to pull out and sweep. This was one of the times I was NOT interested in a breakfast meal for dinner. The entree choices were limited (yes, I know I'm at a breakfast place--I often consider IHOP a diner) and chose the Tilapia Florentine. The fish and sides were very good. The potato pancakes were surprisingly good. Next time I'll have them with applesauce instead of sour cream (I actually like them with a little of both). I've been to better IHOPs, especially when I lived in Florida. I will definitely give them another try and that visit will be for "breakfast food". They're at least worth a try. There aren't many casual restaurants for dinner in the White Haven/East Side Boro area. read more

I have to say, don't judge a book by its cover. I have never been to a restaurant in a gas station and when I saw the location of this IHOP I thought "this can't be good". We waited just a few minutes while the greeter cleared a table. The menu had great breakfast items and we were waited on right away. I had the southwest scrambler and it was delish. It had fresh avocado and salsa. I was also able to substitute a biscuit for a pancake. We had great service and great food. The people in the gas station were not as nice and were not wearing masks. But I would not let that cloud your decision to eat here. read more

Don't ask for anything off the menu, it'll confuse the kitchen staff. The menu offers a roast turkey sandwich on a roll. I asked if it could be turned into a triple decker club, (you know, the lettuce, tomato, turkey, bacon, mayo on white toast variety). Not too difficult, right? Well, I guess ordering it here it most certainly is. I received what looked to be a turkey salad (or maybe it was chicken salad, hard to tell) on white toast with lettuce and tomato minus the bacon. I would give this place a 0 rating. After walking in and waiting our turn for 20 minutes after a long day of traveling, we were ignored by staff standing there. Finally a waitress comes up and tells us there is an hour wait due to reservations. I had no idea you had to make reservations for IHOP locates in a gas station. It wasn't even that busy. The last few times we where there the service wasn't that good and the food was on the cold side and if it wasn't cold it was burnt

Went for breakfast with my wife and three granddaughters. Seated quickly and orders taken. After 30 minutes three of the five orders arrived. My breakfast followed but when I took a fork to the eggs (over easy) there was a clear liquid under the white. Raw egg. Informed waitress and she took it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes more and my plate came, eggs cooked this time. The final order for my granddaughter arrived, we were all done. She ordered scrambled but received over easy, part raw again. Manager did the right thing and comp,ed the meal. Even so I will never go back and will tell everyone to check the eggs. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. After waiting for about half an hour for a table and observing staff and customers, it became very apparent that staff was NOT complying with CDC regulations. For starters, the cook was not wearing a mask in the kitchen. Secondly, waiters were taking masks off after serving customers, and then proceeding to serve others. After touching their masks and faces they did not wash their hands or use hand sanitizers. One of them even touched the food with their bare hands before it was served! This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I understand the challenge of working long shift with a face mask on, but putting customers at risk due to the irresponsibility of waiters is horrid. read more

My husband and I met a friend for breakfast here. Our friend is a local and we stay at Split Rock when visiting. It was a nice surprise to see that IHOP had opened nearby. Everything was great, the food, the service. Our waitress, Tiffany, was very attentive. Our order was taken and our food came quickly. We have no complaints. It was nice to sit and chat, without feeling any pressure to leave. We will certainly return. read more

I've been an active IHOP customer going to the ones down the shores of NJ over the years. I was excited that one opened up near me. Unfortunately, our waitress gave my grandmother the WRONG drink, the strawberries on the pancakes were sour and one looked moldy, and the food made us sick. Though we tipped well, we won't be returning to this IHOP. I'll continue visiting the one down the shore during vacations. read more

We were here for almost 20mins and didnt even get asked for drinks.... I watched the hostess pull a server away to go to a table that came in after us and then see us later with still no drinks and turn and walk away. I was a server for over 10 years. I know how the system works, I also know that a table left unattended doesn't work either. I have never walked out of a restaurant until today. I would be completely understanding if they were busy but outside of us there were 4 other tables in the building with more than 5 people in uniform. My two year old was literally crying as we were leaving because all she wanted was pancakes. We will never be going there again. read more
