I can't believe it went this well. After a visit last year I was so unsatisfied that I called the IHOP main branch to tell them about it. This time was the opposite experience. Probably twenty wait staff, quick seating, great waiter, quick food, tasted good and served hot. We were on our way to the water park in about 35 minutes. Way to grab the bull by the horns IHOP. We will be back. We did get there by 8:30am and beat the rush a little. It was filling up when we left, but a great experience for us. read more

Worse experience ever with server Jessica. She took our order but it took forever for food to come out. On top of that another server had to bring it out. Didn't ask if we needed anything else. Had to ask another server for Cholula and ketchup. Had to ask manager for tortillas, which came with the order. Finally Jessica decides to show up to ask if anything was fine once we had to ask everyone else. She didn't even bring out our free refill, had to ask for it. We were there today and were seated in the back facing The bathroom doors. When we first got there I use the ladies room and there was no soap. I told our waiter there was no soap or toilet paper and he sent someone in to take care of it. We were there at least 45 minutes and I watch employees going in and out one after the other. When I went back in at the end of our meal there was still no soap. So how are they washing their hands? I asked to speak to the manager. A middle-aged blonde came out to speak with me. She told me I was wrong there was soap in one of the containers, however there was not as I had checked. Then she told me that Americans didn't want to work so she had to import people, her words not mine, and that they were too stupid to know to use the full soap container. I am not sure where she was going with that except that she was implying that I was being racist against the staff. Then she stopped all of her staff and said they all say that the soap was full so it's your word against theirs. I will be contacting their corporate office in the morning. read more

A group of my friends and I decided to get breakfast there. Majority of the shit was HORRIBLE. Let's talk about how I order pancakes and it had HAIR in the whipped cream. Three out of the six of us order regular "lemonade" it was HELLA water down like it tasted like they literally had a water cup and put a DROP of lemonade syrup in the water. So all three of us was looking at each other saying how it was disgusting and we complained about it. The waitress bring us out Strawberry lemonade which tasted the same but just with strawberries that she dropped in the cup. Personally, I'll never go back there again. I recommend you NOT get the lemonade, and always remember to inspect your food before you consume it. read more

Good food. Good service. Our waitress actually spoke English , that's a plus. However, we witnessed the manager treat one of the employees very badly. He yelled at the young man as he was cleaning one table to go and clean another table, so the young man stopped cleaning the one table and took care of the other, as per request of the manager. Then the manager starts yelling at him again, "Don't just clean half of a table then start cleaning another one! I don't want to do your job for you!" The young man was just doing as he was told. I live about 15 minutes from this IHOP and have been here at least 3 times a year. Always had good service, sometimes a little longer wait but nothing atrocious. Usually in the Summer, a big tourists time. We went here today 12/25/18. First, I was happy to see their open on Christmas, ecstatic to hear the staff wish me a Merry Christmas!! It was busy and we were still out of there in less than a hour. Food was a big portion and very yummy! Our waitress was a doll! Did everything perfectly, very kind and checked on us twice! The guy who gets the food right after the chef (it looks like he wipes the plate) and wipes his nose and proceeded to serve the food. I patronized this location on Thursday, November 29th, around 7:30 PM. Mihaela, who served as hostess and waitress, was the only employee in the front of the house. My friend and I ordered, and Mihaela brought our drinks and later our food. My meal was cooked adequately; however, my friend's fish entree was grossly under cooked. It seemed the frozen fillets had not been heated long enough, and they were still cold. I had to track down Mihaela who lounged somewhere in the back of the house. The sole cook in the back had to call her out. We informed her of the problem, and she asked if there was anything else my friend wanted. My friend opted for a chicken salad instead. I continued to eat despite my friend not having a meal, which felt awkward, but we joked about it. Her meal arrived despite being incorrect. She had asked for no tomatoes and no mushrooms, but the salad was covered in them. She decided to eat the salad anyway to avoid any further inconvenience. Having had extensive restaurant server experience myself, I presumed that the fish entree would have been taken off the bill, but Mihaela dropped off a bill that still included the fish entree. When I asked why we were still charged for an entree that was inedible and returned, she began to argue with me, but her argument made no sense. She argued that she left the entree on the bill because she asked my friend if she wanted something else, and Mihaela stated that my friend did not. She then concluded that the fish entree would stay on the bill, despite the fact that my friend did ask for a chicken salad instead. Mihaela refused to remove the item, and she even pointed out that the cost of the chicken salad would have been about the same. In my opinion, the fish entree should have been removed with the chicken salad complimentary for the error and inconvenience, but Mihaela only offered a $5.00 discount. Also, an employee should not argue with a customer over the kitchen's error. I grew frustrated that Mihaela simply did not understand, so I paid the bill and left no tip. which was all I could do. No manager was present, but I am not even sure if it would have made a difference. read more

We needed a quick breakfast one morning, so we decided on IHOP. Upon walking in to the crowded restaurant, we were sure it would be anything but quick. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We were seated within seconds and our waitress- Alina- came over. She was extremely sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. I usually love IHOP, but this time was terrible. First of all, it took a long time just to get our coffee. Then it took a very long time to get our food. They had a lot of waitstaff so there was no excuse. Next, when our orders came, almost everything we had specified was wrong. We both ordered our bacon crispy, but it was just barely cooked. I ordered my eggs over medium, but they came with a lot of runny whites. When I ordered their special double dipped french toast without any whipped cream on top, that request was ignored. We where seated by the door so very cold. The entire building had no heat but instead mini heaters. Terrible place! They are understaffed we waited 48 min for our small cold breakfast my sons eggs were all dried out and his pancake tasted burnt. My boyfriend and I went there in July for our anniversary, hoping for a great start to our day. The waitress was average, and the food was decent. But our only complaint was the lack of customer service and experience from the workers. As we were trying to pay our bill, there was a long line of people waiting to pay and to be seated. There was no cashier behind the counter, but there were at least five hosts standing on the side, singing and laughing with each other. Not one of them did their job at all. This place is overstaffed for no reason, because they are not cross trained. We were tired of waiting, so we left the exact change on the counter and walked out. I ate here with my family the first Sunday in August 2011. We got there at around 11 pm, and were attracted because of the "kids eat free" gig with a paid adult. The big problem was that in order to eat there and communicate with the staff, you need to speak Russian. The waitress, hostess, and cashier were all Russian, and barely understood rudimentary English. The food was alright, but the experience was very underwhelming. The cashier overcharged us almost nine dollars on our credit card, and we called back a few days later when we caught the mistake, to speak with the manager. Thank God he was a native speaker. He said he would look into the matter, and call me back on my cell phone, but he never did. To make a long story short, the food was OK, the service was awful, and the manager never followed through and called me back like he promised he would. Because of the manager's mistake, we never will return. By the way, we just got back from the Dells today, after spending two days here. My wife and kids wanted to return, as they don't over-charge for their food like many places in the Dells do. But I refused. The manager, by ignoring the problem with the over-billing us, lost a customer for life. read more

Very disappointed in the customer service. Too much personal conversations between employees in the open, loud music coming from an employee headphones, crashing dishes as they cleared the tables. Not once were we checked on after we got the food. When I shared that my strawberries were still frozen he asked if I wanted to share with the manager, I said please just let them know. He did but her response was loud enough for us to hear and she said "yeah well that happens when you're very busy and run out of strawberries!"
