    Coffee

Great service from our waitress and we were seated right away. The coffee is not the best and is a bit water down, and the orange juice was good. We had the lumberjack breakfast, strawberry pancakes, hash browns, sausage, and bacon with eggs. The pancakes are small but fluffy. Bacon was not crispy and the sausage was good. The hash browns were cooked nice and crispy. Overall good place for breakfast at the dells!

Food was ok-but someone should show the cook how to make gravy for the country fried steak. The gravy was shameful! Way too salty and didn't stick to the fork at all! Way too thin. A restaurant shouldn't serve gravy this bad. We came here for Mothers Day...it was just ok. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it.

Found a bug in my hash browns!

The service was poor... no refills on drinks, forgot to bring out a meal. Found a bug in my food! Asked for manager and was told there was no manager there several times. After refusing to pay the bill, suddenly she was there??? She said her name was Alla. She offered replacement food, made excuses for the bug and offered to show the kitchen. After some arguing she took only PART of the bill off though no one ate their food after find a dead bug in the hash browns and she told us to F**K OFF. Good family fun in the Dells!

My wife and I went to this location during lunch rush on a Sunday in summertime. So basically as hectic as it gets in Wisconsin Dells. We were immediately seated and brought our drinks. The serving staff was excellent. Three different members of the staff helped us, all with big smiles. It was nice to see everyone working together. Our drinks and food came out promptly and made perfectly to order. Bussing staff cleared the plates immediately. All in all, our expectations were met and exceeded. Would recommend highly.

    Our receipt for four diners.

I hate to pull the racist card, so I won't flat-out say this establishment was racist. Instead, I'll explain my experience, and you can conclude. On 1/20/24, my friends and I entered Ihop for breakfast. There were about 16 of us. When we entered the establishment, the hostess asked if we wanted to sit together or have separate tables. We opted for different tables. Each table had four guest dining. Our waitress greeted us and informed us that we would be charged an 18% gratuity automatically to our bill. I was confused, and I asked our waitress why. She proceeded to say that we're a group of over six people. I always tip, so I really didn't care, but what I did care about was someone forcing me to tip and trying to lie to me and use their privilege to attempt to make me look like an aggressor. Each table had four diners. We came in as a group but dined separately for billing purposes. The waitress couldn't logically explain why they tried to force a gratuity on our tab. The waitress and manager tried to tell me it was because we knew each other and came in as a group. Again, there are four diners at different tables with different checks. I don't particularly appreciate it when people try to insult my intelligence. Again the manager tried to tell me there was an automatic gratuity for parties of six or more. After being talked to as if I was an incompetent toddler, I finally just asked the waitress and the manager, "Are you trying to ensure you get your tip?" Guess what her response was? Yep, you guessed it, she said yes. She said yes and then stated, no worries, you'll enjoy your experience. She lied. The food was cold and incorrect. Since we were four diners at four different tables, we all received our food at various times. Mind you, I didn't want to eat here, Ihop is disgusting if you ask me. At the end of service, the bill came, and guess what? There were four diners on each bill with handwritten notes for gratuity. The restaurant couldn't add the gratuity to our bill automatically because, again, there were four diners at four tables with four different receipts. Luckily, we had cash :-). If you choose a job that pays under minimum wage, that is your decision. Don't try to force anyone to pay you more than your company. Again, I'm a great tipper, but I don't particularly appreciate being insulted. It's illegal, and you all should be careful because you'd be sued for things like this. I didn't want to end up on anyone's news channel and be labeled "that person." However, I refuse to be treated as a low-class person in society. I will never support Ihop again; their food is mediocre, and the service is trash. If you choose to, please proceed cautiously, especially if you're a group of American citizens dining in.

CHICKEN WITHOUT NASHVILLE SAUCE EW I STILL ATE IT THOUGH

Was out of Nashville Hot sauce. Hot chocolate was good, but I'm really bad about the Nashville thing because that's why I came at all! 1 star!

We woke up early . As we decided on ihop mainly because my daughter and wife had never been to one before . The anticipation of pancakes was in my daughters eyes . Upon arriving we could tell it was busy . It took about ten minute to get a table. Our server was busy and was very open to being busy . We all ordered and for being an entirely full restaurant our food took about 15 minutes . It was hot and meet all our expectations when going to a ihop . Nothing mind blowing but consistent. The turkey sausage was very overpriced but otherwise portions were good sized . I ordered the Fresno Streak Avocado Omelette. It was spicy but not over powering. The side fruit was kinda on the last life but edible. Be aware this place gets busy . But the staff was friendly and patient. Just remember it's ihop . Not fine dining..

We came in for breakfast and paid Cash and our server Luis took out cash that we gave him to pay out meal. He dragged and we were wondering why and later he came back saying I don't have the 12 cents I owe you. I found that super unprofessional due that if we owed 12 cents we wouldn't be able to leave with out those 12 cents. Yet after he asks for a tip Wth is up with this service!

Worst service. I love IHOP and this kinda killed it for me. I hope not all waiters are like this. But Faith had a snotty attitude.

Food great. Waiter made mistakes in order, but when he learned of it, he was eager to make it right. Overall very good experience

This place is a lifesaver with my picky children that only feel like eating chocolate chip pancakes in the evening.

The dining area felt quite crowded, which made it a little uncomfortable and harder to fully enjoy the experience. The donuts, while decent, were a bit too powdery for my taste and could have been better in texture and balance. That said, there were also some strong positives. The variety of different dishes was enjoyable, and many of them tasted really good. One standout was the potatoes--they were especially flavorful and well-prepared. On top of that, the service was excellent. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was taken care of, which really added to the overall experience. In the end, while there are a few areas that could be improved, the combination of good food, great service, and standout items like the potatoes made it a solid dining experience.

It is a pretty tight room so you are seated close to others. One side of the table has chairs and the other side is a bench (probably to get more people to fit in?). Our waiter was great (very attentive even though he was quite busy) and explained how the family style worked (if we wanted seconds of anything he would bring it out). He first brought out our drinks of hot tea and milk (which were included) and the fresh & warm buttermilk doughnuts. Great start to our breakfast. Then he brought out bowls of scrambled eggs, home fries, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, sausage, and kielbasa. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was very clean. There is a gift shop as you exit with a lot of unique findings for yourself or gifts.

We did not have the best experience with the service unfortunately. Our reservation table was not ready on arrival and nobody came up to our table to greet or take our drink order until around 20 minutes after we sat down. We also had requested to sit outside and they reported that they didn't have a table for this. I checked outside after and they had multiple tables outside open. I ordered the mushroom risotto and espresso martini. The espresso martini was amazing. Would definitely order again!

The host and the server asked us a couple of times if we were sure we wanted to sit outside since it was a bit chilly. But our minds were set and we were happy with our decision to sit outside; enjoying the fresh air and sunset views. And really it wasn't too bad at all with a light sweater on. The inside of the restaurant was rather warm which is perhaps why they thought it was so cold out on the back patio. Their cocktail list was classic and not overwhelming. I chose the Negroni. Dinner was the Mahi Po-Boy sandwich. Fish was cooked to perfection. Sandwich wasn't super fancy or overloaded with fillings. Just a light drizzle of cucumber aioli and a little coleslaw mixture. My only complaint is that the bread was a little too heavy or thick, it took away from the overall light flavor and texture of the fish. Perhaps something a little thinner would complement it more? Final thoughts: worth the view, relaxed environment, a step away from the busier main streets, feels more local and less touristy than the surrounding area.
