    Sirloin Steak Tips & Eggs
    Taina R.

I don't know what happened at ihop this morning... but it was not it. We ordered through door dash. My husbands sirloin tip with eggs was super wet in the bottom. He felt sick with the steak later on. Mine was the steak omelette with toast & butter. The butter was not given... and let me finish this with saying there was a black hair on top of the omelette. The omelette was mushy, no taste at all. I took about two bites to taste it and done. No thank you. Will not be ordering or eating here again.

Quick 2 egg breakfast off the IHOPPY hour menu

IHOPPY hour is great (whole entrees for $6 and smaller ones for $3.50 from 2pm-10pm on weekdays)! I took full advantage of it and ate way more than my fill with leftovers for home for less than $10. I got the burger with onion rings and a stack of candied bacon pancakes. Both were tasty. Our server was really nice but had a couple missteps. He accidentally forgot one of our orders and touched my onion rings when he handed me the plate but he was 100% trying his best. I think he was new because the manager was following him the whole time. He got the rest of our food right though! We came in at about 6pm and the place was empty. Lots of seating inside. It filled up around 8pm though. The atmosphere was alright. The ceiling was leaking on my friend the whole time. Our food didn't take too long to come out and they brought it all out at once (except the food they forgot). Temperature and taste were good. Overall, okay experience. I wouldn't come back if it wasn't IHOPPY hour but the deals definitely made the trip worth its

I paid extra for this too, and with 4 regular pancakes trust me all these would barely cover one.

please, please, please!!!!!! do not order the bananas foster pancakes for delivery!!!!! they have a nasty attitude when you request enough sauce to cover the pancakes. they give you four regular style pancakes and less than 2oz of sauce. i called and ask if i could pay for more sauce and was immediately told " that is the way our sauce is portioned out " i asked to pay for extra and was given an attitude and when i got my order finally i had just one extra sauce that was less than original 2oz container that came with the meal. its irritating because it's like first of all i dont care if 2oz is the standard, thats hardly enough to enjoy on one pancake... let alone 4!!!! never ever order that for delivery i promise you will be furious. save yourself time and get it to dine in only. and if you think asking a manager will help you, wrong they get on the phone and pretend that what you're asking for is so reasonable and no big deal (because it isn't) and you get the order and you're still isn't there.

You order at the bar and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready to be picked up at the window. My friend was excited because they had bourbon and burgers, which hit the spot for her. She got a black and bleu burger with a side salad and raved about the burger. I opted for a gyro with fries, and a German pilsner. My sandwich was good, but I thought it needed more tomatoes and onions. The fries had a kick and were a very generous sized portion. If I'm ever in the York area again, I'd definitely stop back in.

My adventure buddy and I were headed to York and looking for somewhere new, different, and delicious to grab lunch. After a little online reconnaissance, Copper Crust Co. landed firmly at the top of the list. The menu looked fantastic...sweet treats, sandwiches, quiche, baked goods, and enough tempting options that narrowing down an order felt like a personal challenge! We arrived around 11:45am and were lucky enough to find a parking spot right out front. We walked inside and immediately discovered that apparently everyone else had also figured out Copper Crust Co. was the place to be. The place was PACKED! Every table was occupied and a long line stretched toward the ordering counter. Fortunately, the line moved quickly. Unfortunately, that meant we had plenty of time to stare at the bakery case while waiting. I suspect this is at least partially intentional. The display of pastries, cakes and sweet treats sits right alongside the ordering line, teasing you every step of the way. By the time I reached the register, I was contemplating lunch, dessert, second dessert, and possibly a bakery box for later. My adventure buddy ordered a classic BLT ($10.69) and a Diet Coke ($1). I decided to branch out with the Spinach, Sundried Tomato & Feta Quiche ($8.99) and a Diet Coke. Total for lunch for two came to $27.58 before tip, which felt completely reasonable. After ordering, we were given a table number and told to grab any available table we could find. This led to the only hiccup of the visit. A sign near the ordering area instructed guests to leave dishes on the tables for staff to clear, but on this particular Saturday the staff simply couldn't keep up with the volume. We eventually found an abandoned table covered with dirty dishes, crumbs, scrambled eggs, bacon remnants, and the previous guests' table marker. Copper Crust was clearly slammed. Honestly, my only suggestion would be to add a guest-accessible bussing station for busy weekends. A spot where customers could scrape plates and stack dishes would probably help tables turn over much faster when the dining room is bursting at the seams. Not wanting to hover awkwardly while waiting for staff, I cleaned the table myself and stacked everything neatly out of the way. Problem solved. A few minutes later, our food arrived and immediately erased any lingering concerns. The mixed greens salad that accompanied our meals was surprisingly excellent. Normally, a pile of just greens (plus two small pieces of pineapple) doesn't do much for me, but whatever light, slightly sweet dressing they use is fantastic! My adventure buddy and I both devoured every last leaf. The BLT featured thick-cut bacon and hearty slices of multigrain bread, both of which earned enthusiastic approval from my adventure buddy. My quiche was outstanding. The spinach, sundried tomatoes, and feta were plentiful, but the real star was the crust. Too many quiches treat the crust as an afterthought. Not this one. Flaky, buttery, substantial, and absolutely worth eating every bite. It was one of the best quiches I've had in quite a while, and I seriously considered getting back in line for another slice. Copper Crust Co. ended up being one of those unexpected gems that makes adventure days so much fun. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and enough bakery goodness to justify a return trip all by itself. Next time I'm in York around breakfast, brunch, or lunch, there's a very good chance you'll find me back in that line staring at the bakery case and making questionable decisions involving dessert before noon.

It felt vintage! Our waitress was great. We came for the thin crust tavern style pizza everyone raves about (heads up this is a special and was no longer going on). She was able to convince the chefs to make one for us! The price of their items for the quantity you get does not match up well. We understand local and higher quality ingredients but about 6 bucks for 30 fries is a little steep. The Tavern Style Pizza was around 25 dollars. We also got a chicken biscuit sandwich for our group and it didnt come with the side it was supposed. My rating is a 4 star based on taste and quality of the food, but the prices vs the amount of the food limiting it from a 5 star. The tavern style pizza had great taste and flavor. I see why people rave about it. I would like to go back and try their archetype pizza and detroit style. The chicken egg biscuit sandwich was also delicious! Overall, we want to go back and try other items. Know it cost a little more than your local pizza shops.

It sounds bold, and it is, but it works beautifully. The broth is rich and deeply savory, the cheese pull is perfect, and the crispy rings add a texture you never knew the classic was missing. The pork chop remains the star of the menu--huge, expertly seasoned, and cooked with precision. It's widely considered the best in the city, and honestly might be the best in the state. Juicy, tender, and full of flavor, it's the kind of entrée you end up recommending to friends for weeks. Their octopus is another standout, prepared with surprising delicacy. Tender, not chewy, with a perfect char that adds just the right amount of smokiness. It's balanced, refined, and one of the most memorable small plates you'll find locally. And don't leave without dessert--the crème brûlée is phenomenal. Silky smooth custard under a flawlessly torched sugar crust that cracks just right. Simple, classic, and executed perfectly. Between the inventive dishes and the warm atmosphere, The First Post remains a must-visit for anyone who loves great food done exceptionally well.
