    Eggs Benedict with bacon
    Kelly S.

The diner itself was cute and our server was friendly enough but my food was so bad. I love eggs benedict. Maybe part of the problem Is that my hollandaise is amazing....theirs was split- you can see in the photo and tasted like nothing. Needs more lemon and salt. The poached eggs were not cooked long enough. When i cut them open all the yolk flowed out instantly. It should be a thicker, jammier texture. The home fries were ok, but i just wanted some yummy eggs Benedict. This was a major disappointment. My boyfriends steak and eggs were fine, but he never complains. I tasted the steak and it was cooked fine and tasted good. I would not come back here.

What a fantastic breakfast!!! I wasn't crazy about the corned beef hash as it's canned mush, similar to that of cat chow, but the rest of my breakfast was a delight! Gluten free toast, how great! The over easy egg was the most perfectly cooked egg I've had yet in a restaurant. A side of bacon consists of an entire plate worth of bacon - and how can you go wrong there! My son loved his choc chip pancakes. Our server was kind and efficient, all staff wearing masks!

We were in Newburgh for a baseball tournament and we were a little hungry. We were in the mood for some breakfast so what better than a diner. So I jumped on Yelp and this was the closest with decent reviews. They have a large parking lot and plenty of spots. The place looks like the old time diners with the stainless steel siding and large windows with booths in them. When you enter it also looks like the old school diners with the homemade dessert display. There also have a counter service area and the old school neon signs and wood paneling everywhere. The staff was friendly and they greeted us instantly and seated us immediately. They had a large menu with a ton of options. They had some specials too and the desserts in the case looked amazing. So I ordered the corner hash with eggs. It was served with toast and homesites. It was really Good. The home fries were super crispy and seasoned well. The eggs were cooked well and the toast was done perfectly. My son has a Belgian waffle with bananas and whip cream he also had an order of bacon. I didn't try it but he said it was super good and he ate the whole thing. The waitress was very nice and attentive and had everything we needed and never missed a beat. They also had a busser that was clearing the dishes and cups and sweeping and wiping chairs the entire time. I love when a restaurant is clean and takes the time to make sure they are keeping up with it all. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and when or if we go back we will revisit.

    What a nice view!

Beautiful diner, good coffee. I got the onion and lox omelette with cream cheese and tomatoes instead of hashbrowns. It was delicious. I also got an egg cream! They don't have those in California where we live so it was exciting.

Omelettes were generous & tasty, however perhaps more overcooked than we liked. Great waitstaff, great decor

Blink and you miss it, modest looking place but don't let that deter you.. good menu with good variety of food options.. got both the gyro (huge and tasty) and the cheesesteak (nontraditionally prepared, all ingredients were chopped fine) Both excellent..! Will go back when I return to the area..!

This is one of those spots you hope no one sleeps on because it's too good to stay a secret. I stopped in during my break since I didn't pack lunch and figured a deli sub would do the trick. A quick Yelp search showed an almost perfect rating, which seemed wild at first, but after eating here I get it. I walked in and saw the owner in a chef's coat, his staff in theirs, cooking and taking orders right in front of you. The setup felt like an open-air kitchen that still fully embraced being a deli. They even have an "ocky way" sandwich section, plus regular hot and cold sandwiches on a sub or a roll. Drinks and chips you don't see everywhere. The variety and quality genuinely impressed me. The owner was super friendly, and I ordered a honey turkey chopped cheese-style sandwich cold. Mayo, lettuce, turkey, American cheese, salt, pepper, vinegar, all chopped together and stuffed into a hero. It came out to twelve bucks. The menu has range. There's a salad bar, beef patties, and the place smelled incredible. I was already planning my next order before I even left. I took my sandwich back to work, sat down on break, and the first bite was an explosion of flavor. The sweetness of the honey turkey, the creamy mayo, the hit of vinegar, everything came together perfectly. I ate half and saved the other half for Jo because it was that good. This is officially my new lunch spot when I'm working in the area. Five out of five stars.

It did arrive as ordered, I asked for the rice as a side and mashed. I've eaten a lot of varieties of rice, but this was a weird one. I'm not sure what the little black pearl like things were. But I lived to tell this story. The wait staff is personable enough. The restaurant is pretty large with a few separate dining rooms. It could do with a little updating, but I went there to eat not to look at fine art. Besides, it turned out to be a freebie for me.

It was clean inside the restaurant the carpet looked good, and all the tables were nicely cleaned. The waitress is very friendly, I decided to order the grand slam breakfast for $7.99. She asked right away if I wanted coffee. I said yes. Appeared if you looked at the menu quickly that coffee was included with the breakfast out came two pancakes eggs with cheddar cheese, two small sausages, two strips of bacon. But no potatoes or hashbrowns, suppose they've never come with the grandstand breakfast The coffee was so so. The pancakes tasted good. They were kind of dense and heavy. The eggs were OK. Seemed like they came out of a mix rather than fresh eggs. The sausage was lukewarm and kind of bland, frozen for sure the bacon was OK but also Luke warm , unfortunately the coffee was $3.69 half of the price of the breakfast. The waitress was friendly so that's what I'm giving the two stars for. As well as the cleanliness of the restaurant but the food was definitely substandard. Used to be decent for breakfast. I'd give the breakfast to rating of 3out of 10. I can get a much better breakfast at for example. The main street bistro in. New Paltz. Two eggs, toast and potatoes $2.99 or a diner in Kingston the Dietz stadium diner to eggs, toast, potatoes, bacon, hammer sausage along with juice and coffee. $10. I'd recommend against coming to this Denny's for breakfast or lunch
