I pass this diner almost every day. It is in a location that has ample parking and typically has a good amount of people. We stopped by on a late Friday night, after coming from the Beacon train station. Ordered from Breakfast because the actual place did not seem very clean and it looked like it was about to close for the night...at 9pm. I ordered an omelet and my BF ordered a eggs benedict. The food was mediocre. We asked for Ketchup and Hot Sauce and I was done with the my eggs in the time the waitress to bring it over. Maybe it is just because the suburban locations are not open as much as city locations, but I would not go back. read more

Ordered the blueberry pancakes with a side of scrambled, and my sister got the French toast with bacon. Food was good, blueberries in the pancakes were frozen tiny blueberries. Not fresh by any means. But what can you expect, it's a diner! Later on as I was leaving and getting my stuff from the table, I saw a dead bug behind the drink menu on our table. The omelette was served to me black I mean really burnt! I reluctantly sent it back because the waitress said that's how it comes out w extra cheese.. the second was water I mean liquid no joke!! !! I was truly in disbelief!! I ate the home fries and some of the hash! The waitress said she wouldn't charge me for the omelette however, my bill was $21.00. New ownership has turned this diner completely around. I came here with my boyfriend for dinner. He ordered the penne vodka and I ordered the shrimp scampi. The sauce on the shrimp scampi was better than the sauce I've had at fancy seafood restaurants. It was creamy and seasoned perfectly. The shrimp were huge in size and extremely tasty. I had a taste of my boyfriends penne vodka and it was excellent as well. The waitress, Anna, was very friendly and attentive. Stopped in last night on my way to the airport. We were a party of five and thought we had plenty of time to have a good meal before the flight. However a large group of tourists arrived just before us and we were told that there was no guarantee of being seated and if we were a slim chance of being served in time to catch our flight. The owner overheard the conversation and after hearing our situation seated us immediately and our server was super understanding and got our order in and we were served a delicious meal in a timely manner. We got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. I've been here before and the food was excellent but this level of customer service is exemplary. We Stayed overnight at the Days Inn which is located above the restaurant and after driving all day wanted something close. We were seated right away by a very friendly hostess. Service was great and food delivered promptly. Food was good, we were told they offered a Greek menu at one point but because of lack of local interest discontinued. I ordered a salad, which wasn't bad, but it wasn't prepared properly so it was hard to eat and I kinda picked at it and the three it away. They make their cakes on site and good luck choosing just one slice! Their New York cheese cakes are amazing, I tasted the raspberry and the peanut buttercup, both of which were delicious!!! Stopped here for some Greek cuisine and we were very impressed. The menu is huge, but we only wanted some gyros and spanikopita--everything was sooo delicious. These were the best gyros I've ever had in America. The meat is cooked perfectly, crispy on the edges and not greasy. The tzatziki is homemade, fresh, and wonderful. The service was great- family run and everyone was friendly. They have a full bar. Prices are good. They gave us a free veggie plate that was a perfect starter. The portions are quite generous. The fries that came with the gyros were great. Seriously, not one single complaint. I will definitely go back. It's better than any Greek food I've had in NYC. read more

I stopped in on my way to go hiking last weekend, and I was really glad I did! The service was excellent, and the waiter was extremely friendly ( and not in a fake sales-y way). He apologized when he delivered the food late( it wasn't actually that late) and I really appreciated his conscientiousness. The food itself was great. I had the fajitas, and the waiter even gave me extra tortillas for the longer wait! I also had a delicious milkshake. Another thing that was really great is that the portion sizes were not ridiculously huge like at many other places. I left satisfied but not overstuffed.
